CAIR vs. Pompaeo: Both are Wrong
Rep. Mike Pompeo (R. Kan.) spent nearly five minutes calling on Islamic
leaders to denounce terrorism. I first learned of his speech from
Bare Naked Islam. As predicted by BNI, CAIR
reacted with a demand for apology.
The video clip of the speech is embedded below,

Its been just under two months since
the attacks in Boston and in those intervening weeks, the silence of
Muslim leaders has been deafening. And that is sad, but perhaps
most importantly it’s dangerous1.
There have now been at least a dozen attacks by
Muslim terrorists on U.S. soil since Ramzi Yousef‘s
parked rental van exploded in the basement of the World Trade
Center on February 26 of 1993. Some have caused death and injury
such as the 9-11 attacks in 2001 and Nidal Hasan’s mass shooting at
Fort Hood Texas. Other attacks such as Faisal Shahzad’s fizzled Times
Square bombing or the unsuccessful underwear bombing of a flight were
thwarted or aborted.
Yet failed or not, all of these attacks
were
successful in scaring Americans; successful in reducing our freedom, in
the most freedom loving nation on earth. Successful in slowing our
economy and successful in demonstrating that a free and open society
can potentially be vulnerable. They were, in the former Attorney
General Mike Mukasey’s
words, crimes2
that are none the less meant to send a terrorist message.
When the most devastating terrorist attacks on
America in the last twenty years come overwhelmingly from people of a
single faith3
and are performed in the name of that faith4, a special
obligation falls on those who are the leaders of that faith.
Instead of responding, silence has made these Islamic leaders across
America potentially complicit5 in these acts and, more
importantly
still, those that may well follow.
If a religion claims6 to be one of peace, Mr.
Speaker, it’s leaders must reject violence that is perpetrated in its
name. Some clerics today suggest that modern Jihad is non-violent
and is only about making oneself a better Muslim. Perhaps that’s
true7
for moderate Muslims, but extremists seek to revive the era
when most Islamic scholars8 understood Jihad to be
holy war.
Mr. Speaker, for decades Middle Eastern oil money have [sic]
propounded
this more extreme violent interpretation9 in mosques around the
world. Less than two months after the 9-11 atrocities an
Egyptian Brotherhood preacher who is probably the most influential
Sunni cleric today, declared suicide bombing to be legitimate. He said
“these are historic heroic commando and martyrdom attacks and should
not be called suicide.”.
So, what is it that these Islamic leaders must
say? First, that there is never any justification for
terrorism10.
No political goal legitimizes terrorism11.
Terrorism is
never excusable as ‘resistance’12. Imams must say
unequivocally13
that terrorist actions- killing and maiming
[unintelligible- may be: solely is wrong].
They must also publicly and repeatedly
denounce radical14
clerics who seek to justify terrorism.
There is a battle of interpretation15
within
Islam, its not enough to deny responsibility saying one’s own
interpretation doesn’t support terrorism. Moderate16
Imams must strive to ensure that no Muslim finds solace for terrorism17
in the Qur’an. They must cite the Qur’an as evidence that the
murder of innocents18 is not permitted
by good believing19
Muslims and must immediately refute all claims to the contrary.
Finally, Muslim leaders must say that there is no
room for militant Islamism in the religion of peace20.
These statements must be made frequently, publicly and in the
mosques. Yes, in the mosques and in the madrassahs where many
learn their Islamic religion.
You know we have to call evil by its name in
order
to stamp it out21.
Downplaying atrocities and rampages assures more of them.
Every Muslim leader must unequivocally proclaim that terror
committed in the name of Islam violates the core tenets of the prophet
Muhammad22
and they must do so repeatedly, period.
My own faith has occasionally been hijacked in
the
name of violence and cruelty including in Kansas my home state by Fred
Phelps and his Westborough Baptist Church. In
response, hundreds of protestant ministers preached that Mr. Phelps’
actions violate the most fundamental Christian traditions and denounced
he [sic] and his church’s evil acts. Pope John Paul II similarly
apologized for the Catholic Church’s failure to do more to speak out
against the evils of Nazism and to protect Jews from the
Holocaust.
Just as these religious leaders have called up
those
who have acted cruelly and brutally in the name of their faith, so too
must Muslim religious leaders refute terrorist theology23.
We are now two decades into Islamic radicals
attacking Americans on U.S. soil; I know that not every Muslim supports
these actions. Dr. Zuhdi Jasser of the American Islamic Forum for
Democracy has spoken out in a clear and consistent way so has
Zainab Al-Suwai of the American Islamic Congress but the silence
in the face of extremism coming from the best funded Islamic advocacy
organizations and many mosques across America is absolutely
deafening. It casts doubt upon the commitment to peace by
adherents of the Muslim faith. This is utterly unacceptable, it
is dangerous24;

the third word in 2:216.. Hilali & Khan defined Jihad in a

Mujihideen gets

view, the major thrust of the testimony is condemnation of alleged
profiling & entrapment. I see it as equivalent to the Mafia
telling the committee how organized crime should be investigated and

Targeting al-Qaeda-Inspired Violent Extremism
to any
one ethnicity, political ideology or religion. In January, the West
Point Military Academy’s Combating Terrorism Center reported that since
2001, violent white supremacists and other far-right groups have
murdered 306 Americans and injured another 1,616.i Since the
events of
September 11, individuals associated with or inspired by al-Qaeda or
similar groups have committed 37 murders in the U.S., out of the
180,000 murders committed during that time.ii Moreover,
since 1979
environmental and animal rights extremists have committed over 2,000
crimes and caused more than $110 million in damage.iii
Terrorism is not limited to the USA. It is performed
all over the world. Most of it is done by Muslims. The two
attacks on the World Trade Center were not done by right wingers or
Christians. The attempted Times Square bombing was not plotted by
a Jew. Numerous foiled plots were planned and almost carried out
by Muslims. The Boston Marathon bombing was carried out by
Muslims, motivated by their religion.
No matter what anyone else does or has done, Islam;
off the shelf, normative, as revealed and exemplified by Moe, motivates
Muslims to maim, mutilate, kill and enslave. Since 623, 270*106 lost their lives to Islamic
imperialism.
Violent Extremism
Terrorism is an intrinsic sacrament of Islam
predating the formation of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and its
offshoot, al-Qaeda. Allah said in the Qur’an that he would
and did
“cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve” and described the
consequences of that act. Allah commanded Muslims to strike
terror into the hearts of disbelievers by building
a mighty army and harsh
treatment of defeated victims. Allah promised to reward
Muslims who take
any step to injure or enrage disbelievers.
Moe said that he was made victorious by terror cast into the hearts of
his enemies. Allah said that Moe was an excellent
example to emulate if one desired admission to his celestial bordello.
Terrorism is not extremism; it is normative Islam,

al-Qaeda-Inspired
Terrorist groups do not inspire terrorism, they draw
attention to Allah’s imperatives,

of the fard al-kifaya of participation in annual attacks
against infidels.
While al-Qaeda and other groups exploit real and
perceived provocations and grievances to pressure believers
to engage in violence, Allah’s imperatives, threat & promise
and Moe’s exemplary conduct are the real sources of the terrorist
impulse.

lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allâh to continue in
carrying out Jihâd against the disbelievers till they embrace Islâm
(i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come
under your protection], but if it had been Allâh’s Will, He Himself
could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you
fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are
killed in the Way of Allâh, He will never let their deeds be lost,

What does Allah want? Genocide: “great
slaughter”; “killed and wounded many of them”. What did Moe want?
Ransom & plunder: “the good of this world”. Can you get a
clue? Genocide is moderate, normative Islam, not extremism.
There is nothing wrong with the massacres of Hindus, Assyrians &
Armenians, Allah demanded “great slaughter”. Got a clue yet?

Tamerlan, 26, and Dzhokhar, 19, Tsarnaev, journey to
violent extremism
had in part begun online through social networking sites linked to
al-Qaeda-inspired videos and content. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has told
investigators that he and his brother learned to build the improvised
explosive devices (IEDs) used in the Boston attacks from the
English-language online magazine Inspire, circulated by al-Qaeda’s
Yemen branch, and were influenced partly
by the online sermons of Anwar al-Awlaki,
an al-Qaeda linked leader.iv It has been reported that Tamerlan had
posted to his personal YouTube account a video extolling al-Qaeda.”v
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) also allege that Tamerlan
was in contact by message board with at least two individuals who were
killed in a battle by Russian security forces in the Russian republic
of Dagestan in 2012.vi
Radicalizer
& 1999: Serves as vice president of
Charitable Society for Social Welfare Inc., the U.S. branch of a Yemeni
charity headed by Abdul
Majeed al-Zindani.
Federal prosecutors in a New York terrorism-financing case later
describe the charity as “a front organization” that was “used to
support al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.”

Security
Security is not surveillance, security cameras,
investigations or infiltrating mosques. Security
is eliminating
enemy personnel from within our borders. If you want to be
sure
that some G’d’d Muslim will not run you over with his auto, shoot you,
stab you or dismember you with a bomb, then send them all home and
exclude them from entry. No Muslim students, technical workers,
medical
specialists, religious workers or tourists. No Muslims!
Expel them and exclude them.
Raccoons and skunks carry rabies and knock over

concept they call “radical Islam.”1
I call “radical Islam” non-existent because radicalism or extremism
is
not permissible in Islam. Islam prohibits extremism2 and an
essential
part of the faith is moderation. A more accurate term
might be
“Al-Qaeda ideology3.”
The Quran, Islam’s foundational holy text, states clearly: “We made you
to be a community of
the middle way, so that (with the example of your
lives) you might bear witness to the truth before all mankind.” (Quran,
2:143)
The Quran also states: “O you who believe! Stand out firmly for
justice, as witnesses to God, even against yourselves, or your parents,
or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for God can best
protect both.” (Quran, 4:35)
There is no such thing as radical Islam4,
but there are radical
Muslims5
– just as there are extremists
of every other religion6 or belief.
But there’s a huge difference between the existence of radical
individuals and a religion
that permits radical beliefs or actions.
These radicals
certainly do not represent the teachings of Islam or the
behavior or beliefs of mainstream Muslims7.
In one Islamic tradition, called a “hadith,” the Prophet Muhammad said:
“Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion
will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be
extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good
tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in
the mornings, the nights.” [Bukhari 1.2.38]
In recent years, we have seen the term “jihadist” come to be used as if
it means a person who kills people out of a religious motivation8,
but
this is terribly inaccurate.
“Jihad”
does not mean “holy war.” 9Literally,
jihad means to “struggle,”
strive and exert effort. It is a central and broad Islamic concept that
includes struggle against evil inclinations within oneself, struggle to
improve the quality of life in society, struggle
in the battlefield for
self-defense 10(e.g., – having a standing army
for national
defense11), or
fighting
against tyranny or oppression.
For the sake of accuracy and to avoid spreading false information about
a major world religion, extremist
Muslims who commit crimes should be
called criminals or, in cases where the definition fits, terrorists.
We
should not legitimize
their actions by calling them jihadists, even if
they attempt to call themselves by that label and seek a false
religious connection or justification. These criminals should not be
honored with a religious label.
Islam allows legitimate self defense, but prohibits
the killing of
innocent people12, even in times of war or
conflict. Aggression
is never
permitted.13
“And fight in the cause of God those who
, and do
not
commit aggression. Indeed God does not love those who are
aggressors,”
(The Quran, 2:190).
So yes, there are some Muslims who have extreme views, or mental
illnesses, or political grievances, or a host of other reasons that
lead them to kill people, and this is not only a tragedy and a crime
but an egregious
violation of the principles of Islam.
The difference between Muslim killers and killers from other
backgrounds is often the way they are described by the media and viewed
by the public: with Muslim killers, the
crime is almost always
attributed to their religion.14
Because the word “terrorism”15 is used almost exclusively to
describe
crimes whose perpetrators are Muslims, you might think that a majority
of mass killings and acts of terrorism in the U.S. were committed by
Muslims. But when we look at the facts, that perception does not hold
up.

In a well-known hadith, a man asked the Prophet Muhammad, “What is the
best
jihad?” to which Prophet Muhammad replied, “Speaking a word of
truth to an oppressive ruler.”
The constant misuse of terms like “jihad” and “radical Islam” is
offensive to the truth and is counterproductive to our nation’s efforts
to achieve security.
It is time we all speak a word of truth by applying the proper labels
to criminals and their acts of violence, no matter their religious
background.

To be effective, a professional liar will include

there is no such thing as radical Islam. Islam is what it is; its
standard was set 1400 years ago by Moe’s recitation, which is recorded

Normative Islam is extreme; it encompasses global imperialism, terrorism, genocide, rape and
pillage. Those intrinsic sacraments of Islam are not
prohibited. Transgressing the limits is prohibited.
The limits are set in Sahih Muslim 19.4294,
in which Moe commands his generals to make holy war. What would profane
it? Embezzling spoils, killing children, mutilating bodies and fleeing
from battle are the limits which must not be transgressed; which would
profane Islam’s holy war.
Al-Qaeda ideology
Al-Qaeda is a subset of the Muslim Brotherhood,
which is a subset of Islam; what is their ideology? Islamic
ideology is most clearly stated in the motto of the Brotherhood,
which is copied in the Charter of HAMAS.

killing and being killed. In 49:15, they are described as only those who fight
in Allah’s cause.

towards an upgrade in your seat in his celestial bordello for any step you take to injure or enrage disbelievers;
would that be religious motivation?

with the military tribunal a signed response to the
“nine accusations” against them. In their document, they spill the

That is neither radicalism nor extremism; that is normative Islam, as
Moe preached and practiced it. That is motivated by Allah’s
imperatives, threat and promise. Those are religious motivations.
Jihad
Jihad means extreme exertion and striving. It
is not defined in the Qur’an, but it is defined in a footnote by Hilali
& Khan in their translation of 2:190.

given the utmost importance in Islâm and is one of its pillar (on which
it stands). By Jihâd Islâm
is established, Allâh’s Word is made superior, (His Word being Lâ

عليه وسلم “O Allâh’s Messenger! What is the best deed?” He replied, “To
offer the Salât (prayers)
at their early fixed stated times.” I asked, “What is next in
goodness?” He replied, “To be good and dutiful to your parents.” I
further asked, “What is next in goodness?” He replied, “To participate
in Jihâd in Allâh’s Cause.” I did not ask Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله
عليه وسلم anymore and if I had asked him more, he would have told me
more. (Sahih
Al-Bukhâri,

What makes fighting holy? Intentions:
intending to please Allah. What profanes it? Embezzling spoils, killing
children, mutilating corpses and fleeing from battle.
What is Allah’s cause? To make Islam dominate the world.
legal definition
The Reliance of the Traveller, the Shafi’i school’s
handbook of Shari’ah, certified as accurate and authentic by the
Sheikhs of Al-Zzhar University, defines Jihad in Book O9.0.
(O: Jihad means to
war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the
word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is
the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare
against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless
him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad.
“We have returned from the lesser jihad to the
greater jihad.”
The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to
scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as:
-1- “Fighting is prescribed for you” (Koran 2:216);
-2- “Slay them wherever you find them” (Koran
4:89);
-3- “Fight the idolators utterly” (Koran 9:36);
and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari
and Muslim
that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:
“I have been commanded to fight people until
they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the
Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say
it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the
rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah”;
and the hadith reported by Muslim,
“To go forth in the morning or evening to
fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and
everything in it.”Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts
of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give
him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he
dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally
attended, some twenty-seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought
in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy
ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent
others to fight, himself remaining at Medina, and these were
forty-seven in number.)
self-defense
“Jihad is ordained for you” in 2:216 Allah says
Jihad, not defense. When Moe was weak, with no army, Allah
prescribed patience and forbearance. When he moved to Medina and built
a small force, Allah prescribed defensive and retaliatory fighting in 22:39.
When his army grew strong enough to raid camel caravans and small
settlements, Allah revealed the primary Jihad imperatives in Surahs
Al-anfal & At-Taubah.
The Reliance of the Traveller, in Book O9.1,
sets forth two types of jihad: offensive and defensive. The former is
required in every year, and if not performed when possible, all who
know of the obligation are in sin. The obligation is communal,
binding on all eligible male Muslims until a su8fficient number has
reported to the front.
O9.1: The Obligatory Character of Jihad
Jihad
is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform
it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon
others (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet’s saying
(Allah bless him and give him peace),
“He who provides the equipment for a soldier in
jihad has himself performed jihad,”
and Allah Most High having said:
“Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit
behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah’s path with their
property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their
property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to
each, Allah has promised great good” (Koran 4:95).
If none
of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then
everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there
was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the
Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal
obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent
times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.
The
first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad
(def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is
speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.
The second state is when non-Muslims invade a
Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally
obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must
repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can).
Reliance O25.9
outlines the duties of subordinate rulers; one of them holds a clue for
you: to wage war against neighboring infidels and distribute the
spoils. .
The Hanifi school adds some crucial clarity.
The destruction of the sword is incurred by infidels, although they be
not the
first aggressors, as appears from various passages in the sacred
writings which are generally received this effect.
standing army
The purpose of Islam’s army is offensive, not
defensive: to strike terror into the hearts of intended victims.
Note the expressions used in multiple translations of 8:60.

mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear
proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them

sins) in the land!.
Note the highlighted escape clause. The prohibition is in 4:92.
is not for a believer to kill a believer
except (that it be) by mistake, and whosoever kills a believer by
mistake, (it is ordained that) he must set free a believing slave and a
compensation (blood money, i.e Diya) be given to the deceased’s family,
unless they remit it. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with
you and he was a believer; the freeing of a believing slave (is
prescribed), and if he belonged to a people with whom you have a treaty
of mutual alliance, compensation (blood money – Diya) must be paid to
his family, and a believing slave must be freed. And whoso finds this
(the penance of freeing a slave) beyond his means, he must fast for two
consecutive months in order to seek repentance from Allâh. And Allâh is
Ever AllKnowing, AllWise.
4:93. And whoever kills a believer
intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the
Wrath and the Curse of Allâh are upon him, and a great punishment is
prepared for him.
Who is innocent? Only Muslims!!! If you ain’t
Muslim, you are a rebel against Allah and his Messenger, due to be
killed for waging war against them.
The truth is revealed in 5:33 and clarified by Tafsir Ibn Kathir.
war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only
that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be
cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is
their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the
Hereafter.
`Wage war’ mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes
disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. Mischief

have already seen ample proof of the obvious objective factual reality
if you have read this far. Whether you read Reliance of the Traveller, Risala or Hedaya, the aggressive and offensive nature of
Jihad is clear in Shari’ah.

The audio from the town hall meeting is not good enough to allow full
transcription. Rep. Walsh is talking about PC in relation to the
Fort Hood Massacre, saying that the government is too afraid of
offending Islam to avert that tragedy.
In reality, Maj. Hasan’s superior officers knew that he is a Muslim and
that he had made (and presented to fellow officers) a Powerpoint presentation in which he quoted
verses from the Qur’an and sayings from authentic hadith collections
which clearly establish the Islamic mandate of world conquest in an
uncritical manner. In the absence of PC, Hasan would have been
cashiered immediately. Because of PC, he remained in the service
and was able to perpetrate his massacre.

This is a real threat, its not just over there, and its here and we’ve

statement? They retained a traitor in the officer corps
because they were reluctant to offend Muslims.

America. I ‘ve said what I said hundreds of times: while the
overwhelming majority of Muslim Americans are as peace loving as anyone
else, there are radical Islamists right here in the United States
trying to kill Americans and destroy this country.
The Committee on Homeland Security of which I am a member, has held
numerous hearings on this issue. We have heard from countless
experts,including Obama Administration officials, about this
growing home grown threat from radical Islam. However, some want
to pretend16 that these threats do not exist. CAIR,
the Council on
American Islamic Relations, wants me to apologize for what I said. its
important to know that the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI
have severed all ties to CAIR because of their ties to terrorism.
Let me be clear: bowing down to political correctness has and
will get Americans killed. We must always speak the truth to this
threat no matter how politically incorrect. Yet Tammy Duckworth

Democratic systems of government involve legislation
introduced, debated and voted on by members of an elected
legislature. If bills are not introduced, they can not be debated
and voted up or down. By uttering & publishing the phrase
which serves as the header for this paragraph, CAIR admits that
it stands opposed to democratic self government, preferring theocratic
authoritarianism.
Effort to prevent legislation from being introduced
implies a campaign of intimidation & threat against legislators.
What could be more anti-democratic? Efforts to defeat legislation
are legitimate; efforts to prevent it from being introduced are
not.

The statutes proposed in Florida and Michigan do not
mention Shari’ah. They proscribe foreign legal systems to the
extent that those abridge the Constitutional rights of litigants.
By asserting that such laws are anti-Shari’ah, CAIR admits the fact
that Shari’ah conflicts with the rights, privileges & immunities
afforded to citizens as secured by the Constitution. If Shari’ah did
not abrogate Constitutional rights, there would be no issue to dispute.

the evidence of that? CAIR asserts that they do not have wealthy
donors and resources; did the Saudi Princes who provided their original
funding withdrawn their support, leaving CAIR to fend for itself?
The sentence from which the previous four headings
were taken implies that there is something wrong with having donors
& resources; in a letter soliciting funds. The hypocrisy is
palpable.

Exactly how do those “well financed” campaigners
exploit and promote ignorance? How does publishing a book about
Shari’ah (Shariah The Threat to America) exploit and promote
ignorance? How does
publishing a well documented report about fifty trial & appellate
cases arising in the last three decades exploit and promote

Do blog posts quoting and linking to codifications of Shari’ah
also exploit and promote ignorance?

The founders of this nation observed and experienced
tyranny and resolved that their posterity should be free from it
if possible. In modern times we observe amputations, decapitations and

Reading the Qur’an is not easy because it is
archaic, redundant and jumbled, lacking context & chronology.
The Noble Qur’an, translated by Hilali & Khan, is
reputed to be 95% accurate and contains parenthetical expressions from
tafsirs and the translator’s footnotes. Several Surahs are
essential to understanding the malignantly militant nature of Islam: 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 33, 47, 48, 49 & 61. You can select them
from a pick list at the top of the page.
Hadith are sayings of Muhammad, passed down from
mouth to ear by his companions. They have been collected by
several scholars, the most widely accepted collection being that of Bukhari. Like the Qur’an, hadith collections
suffer from redundancy. Begin with Books 52, 53 & 59, then
read the others if you have sufficient patience.
Tafsir are scholarly explanations of the Qur’an.
They use parallel verses and relevant ahadith to clarify the verses. Tafsir Ibn Kathir
is fairly complete and easily accessible. You can select the Surahs
listed above and read them instead of the Qur’an & hadith to save
time and effort.
Islamic biography and history are also important,
but less easily accessible than the Qur’an, hadith and tafsir.
Craig Winn compiled selections of the canon into a 1000
page book with the quotes compiled into handy appendices “The Prophet of
Doom“.
For those lacking the time, patience and ambition to
tackle the large tomes, there is a short book which encapsulates
the most essential information: Suhas Majumdar’s “Jihad: The Islamic Doctrine of Permanent War“.

Do Christians and Jews Worship a blood thirsty demon who appoints
warlords as prophets and demands great
slaughter as their price of
admission to Paradise?
It is not for a
Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with
ransom) until he had made a great slaughter
(among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world
(i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you)
the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
promote justice and equality
Muhammad (peace be upon him) stress racial
and gender
equality.The Prophet
said: ‘All people are equal as the teeth of a comb.’
Allah’s word declares that men are superior to women, whose
testimony is valued as half that men and who inherit half as much
as men.
And wish not for the things in which Allâh has made some of
you to excel others. For men there is reward for what they have
earned, (and likewise) for women there is reward
for what they have earned, and ask Allâh of His Bounty. Surely,
Allâh is Ever AllKnower of everything.
2:282.
[…] And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such
as you agree for
witnesses,
so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her. And
the witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (for evidence).
4:11.
Allâh commands you as regards your children’s (inheritance); to the male, a portion
equal to that of two females;
if (there are) only daughters, two or more, their share is two thirds
of the inheritance; if only one, her share is half. […]
Prophet once told a companion: ‘You are not better than people (of
other races) unless you excel them in piety.’ (Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1361)
excel them in piety
How might Muslims excel us in piety? Allah conceals,
Moe reveals, look beneath the surface of the text! Muslims excel us in piety by attacking and
enslaving us.
You [true
believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet
Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples
ever raised up for mankind;
you enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has
ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that
Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of
the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have
been better
for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them
are
Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh – and rebellious against Allâh’s
Command).
Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 80:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Verse:–“You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples
ever raised up for mankind.” means, the best of peoples for
the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they
embrace Islam.
All Faiths are Equal
Religious liberty is one of the fundamental ideas of
America, but not of Islam. The Qur’an treats Christians and Jews
rather harshly, criticizing, cursing and declaring war against them.
Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your
Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray
(such as the Christians).
2:159. Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs,
evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made
it clear for the people
in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allâh and cursed by the
cursers.
2:160. Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly
declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their
repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
2:161.
Verily, those who
disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of
Allâh and of the angels and of mankind, combined.
9:29.
Fight against those
who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor
forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and
those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the
Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the
Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
Where Allah’s writ runs, Christians and Jews are
subject to draconian restrictions under Shari’ah. The following
quote is from Reliance of the Traveller.
Such non-Muslim subjects are obliged to comply
with Islamic rules that pertain to the safety and indemnity of life,
reputation, and property. In addition, they:
-1- are penalized for committing adultery or
theft, though not for drunkenness;
-2- are distinguished from
Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
-3- are not greeted with
“as-Salamu ‘alaykum”;
-4- must keep to the side of
the street;
-5- may not build higher
than or as high as the Muslims’ buildings, though if they
acquire a tall house, it is not razed;
-6- are forbidden to openly
display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,)
recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their
funerals and feastdays;
-7- and are forbidden to build new
churches.
