International Burn a Qur’an Day: Fan the Embers!

The pr campaign initiated by Pastor Terry Jones, though it ended in a fizzle, afforded us an opportunity to expose the  evil contents of that abominable book. In Washington D.C., at the White House,  two courageous men revealed the contents and crumpled pages from a translation.  In New York, near the site of the proposed Ground Zero mosque, one brave man burned pages torn from a translation.

Islam  has nothing to kvetch about because:

1. Pastor Jones abandoned the burning ceremony.
2. The crumpled Qur’an was a translation, not Arabic.
3. The burned Qur’an was a translation, not Arabic.

Muslims do not consider translations to be sacred.  The Qur’an’s magic is in the sound; it is meant to be memorized and recited, not read.

Yet Muslims are bitching like a nervous little dog tied up outside, cold, hungry & lonely:   barking incessantly. Their barking is both a threat to our liberty and an opportunity to expose Islam’s damnable doctrines.  We must repulse the threat and exploit the opportunity.

On September 22, 2010, Pakistan’s delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Council submitted a draft resolution condemning International Burn a Qur’an Day.  The draft is a single page packed with feces, some old and stale, some fresh and pungent. [Emphasis added to quotes for clarity.]

The preamble contains  abusive  perversion  by reference to the U.N. Charter,  the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ICERD & ICCPR.  It continues with a disingenuous call for one sided inter-cultural  dialogue.  It extends its spew of feces by  conflating criticism of Islam with racism by reference to the United Nations Millennium Declaration.  It aggravates the offense by conflating criticism with physical violence.

• Reaffirming the pledge made by all States under the Charter of the United Nations to
  promote and encourage universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental
  freedoms for all, without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion,

Human rights belong to individual humans, not to groups, associations or institutions.  There is no right to be shielded by coercive force from all questioning and criticism.

• Reaffirming also that all human rights are universal, indivisible, interdependent and  interrelated,

This is exemplary kitman, the Islamic art & science of deception by obfuscation.  They are equating a non-existent & unstated right to be  shielded from criticism with our right of free expression.  The reaffirmation is boiler plate taken from previous Defamation of Religions resolutions.  The implicit false premise: “our right to be shielded from criticism  negates your right of free expression; you can’t say anything about our demon, profit, doctrines or practices”.

• Reaffirming further that discrimination between human beings on the grounds of
  religion or belief constitutes an affront to human dignity and a disavowal of the principles of
  the Charter of the United Nations, and shall be condemned as a violation of the human rights
  and fundamental freedoms proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and
  enunciated in detail in the International Covenants on Human Rights, and as an obstacle to
  friendly and peaceful relations between nations,

Pastor Jones proposed to burn an unholy book.  That is not an act of discrimination, it is a condemnation of a set of evil doctrines & practices. Condemning & incineration of the demon’s manifesto of predation is not discrimination, nor does it pose an obstacle to peaceful international relations.  All of the threats and violence came from the other side, who burned flags & Bibles, destroyed property and killed people in their riots;  none came from the Dove World Outreach Center.

• Welcoming also the resolve expressed in the United Nations Millennium Declaration,
  adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 55/2 on 8 September 2000, to take
  measures to eliminate the increasing acts of racism and xenophobia in many societies and to
  promote greater harmony and tolerance in all societies, and looking forward to its effective implementation at all levels, [Emphasis added.]

The preliminary document for the recent Durban Conference contains  the key to the emphasized expression. Pay close attention to this, which constitutes a demonic distortion of the English language. I added the bold red font to make the evil  clause stand out.

4.  Emphasizes the urgent need to address the scourges of anti-Semitism, Christianophobia, and Islamophobia as contemporary forms of racism as well as racial and violent movements based on racism and discriminatory ideas directed at African, Arab, Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other communities;
The U.N. has equated opposition to Islam with racism.  Islam is not a race. Arab is a race; Islam, invented by an Arab,  enslaves Arabs, Africans, Asians & Europeans.  If we condemn Islam’s sanctification  of mandatory genocidal conquest through terrorism, we are automatically branded as racist.   The intent is to silence us; to shut down debate arbitrarily.

The novel crap is contained in a five point enumerated list of action items.

Noting with deep concern the instances of intolerance, discrimination, profiling and
acts of violence against Muslims occurring in many parts of the world,

1. Condemns in this regard the recent call by an extremist group to organize a ‘Burn a Koran Day’;
2. Condemns also any advocacy of religious hatred that constitutes incitement to I hatred, discrimination, hostility or violence;
3. Calls upon the international community to stand united against such events which undermine peaceful coexistence between nations and create an environment  conducive to violence; reprisal
4. Calls upon also all States to condemn and oppose, in accordance with their obligations, under international human rights law, any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to hatred, discrimination, hostility  and violence;
5. Urges the international community to support all international and regional initiatives to promote cross-cultural and interfaith harmony.

Extremist connotes violent tendencies.  In common parlance, the Muslims who slaughter innocents in the name of Allah are labeled “extremists”.  Who has Pastor Jones and his Dove World Outreach Center threatened?  Who have they assaulted?  Who have they killed?  They condemned and expressed an intention to burn the book which inspires & motivates terrorists.  What is extreme about that?

This term of opprobrium, delivered in the absence of definition and evidence, constitutes  libel and slander.  Pakistan’s delegate ought to be sued for libel and so should the UNHRC  when it passes that resolution.

Exactly what did Pastor Jones say that incited anyone to hate Muslims?  Exactly what did he say that incited anyone to assault Muslims?  Precisely who acted on that incitement?  Did he brandish a sword and shout “Crusade, Crusade, Crusade! ?

Did Pastor Jones call for war?  Did his congregation march upon  Pakistan’s embassy hurling snones and firebombs?  Who  rioted?  Who incited them to riot?  Did they listen to the Pastor’s sermon or their Imam’s Kutbah at Juma Salat?

President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton & General Petraeus  condemned and opposed  International Burn a Qur’an Day. They met their obligations. What more  do you demand?  Note the repetition of boiler plate from an earlier point.  What is its source?

9:38. O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.

9:39. If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you by another people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allâh is Able to do all things.

9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2

61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.

61:11.  That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

61:12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of ‘Adn ­ Eternity [‘Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.

If that ain’t propaganda for war, what the Hell is?      ICCPR 20.1 requires that it be proscribed by law.  Who will enforce 20.1?

1. Any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by law.

Reliance of the Traveller, o.11.5 lists discriminations against non-Muslim subjects.

-2- are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);

-3- are not greeted with “as-Salamu ‘alaykum”;

-4- must keep to the side of the street;

-5- may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims’ buildings, though if they acquire a tall house, it is not razed;

-6- are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays;

-7- and are forbidden to build new churches.
If the cited ayat ain’t incitement to & the cited Shari’an ain’t discrimination against Jews & Christians,  what the Hell is?  ICCPR  20.2 requires that it be proscribed by law.l  Who will enforce 20.2?

It is expected that the draft resolution condemning International  Burn a Qur’an Day will be debated and voted on this week.  It is certain that it will pass because the OIC and its allies have a majority of seats in the HRC.   This gives us a brief moment of opportunity. Let us seize it!!

International Qur’an Petition

The petition linked immediately above cites the relevant provisions of ICCPR, ICERD & CPPCG and the Islamic doctrines which violate them.  It prays to the World Court for enforcement of those provisions which require civilized signatories to outlaw Islam.

The link is to an html formatted copy which contains links to source texts. At the end of the text, it contains a signature link. I  urge you to  copy the petition, paste it into an email and send it to everyone you can hope to influence with an exhortation to sign and forward it.  Signing and promoting this petition is the best hope we have of prevailing over an existential foe which seeks to silence our protest against its intention to enslave us.

U.N. resolutions are not binding, they lack the force of law.  ICERD can be enforced. At the end of November, the Ad Hoc Committee for the Elaboration of Complementary Standards will meet to write the resolutions into ICERD.  You can kiss the First Amendment goodbye, because it will be passed, signed and ratified.

Our only hope of retaining our liberty  rests in raising the cost of this attack above the price Islam is willing to pay.  We must link full exposure of the Qur’an’s evil contents to their attack against our free expression right.  We must do it now, while it is still legally possible.

Hector Aleem Update 09-18-10

Two points in this Hector Aleem update need to be brought  to the front burner and  reinforced.

• Sunni Tehreek forced to start the trial on 18th September 2010 because a large mob gathered in front of the court so the judge had to obey what they said.
• But the most interesting point I want to mention here is that when our lawyer asked the plaintiff (Muslim Cleric) that how do you get income? Because Sunni Tehreek is a religious organization and it can’t make much money; then the Plaintiff (Maulvi) replied that he got a sound system business which means that he sells DVDs and songs. And because of that the whole court laughed at the plaintiff.

Instead of  impartial justice, Pakistan has mob rule.  The courts bend to the will of the mob.  Since Christians are a minority, they can not obtain justice.

This point may go over many heads.  The audience laughed when the plaintiff’s source of income was exposed because the Taliban and their allies forbid many forms of entertainment.  They burn down music shops and beat their owners,  killing many.   The revelation reduced the plaintiff’s  probity as a witness several notches.

Islam forbids musical instruments & entertainments because Moe  hated anything and everything that distracted his army from preparing for war. He wanted them to spend time honing their archery skills, not singing & dancing.

Dear Group Members,

The hearing was on 18th September 2010, as you all know that we have applied for the quashment (Cancellation) of the case in the High Court. But the opponents i.e. Sunni Tehreek (a terrorist organization) wanted to start the trial in the session court. Sunni Tehreek forced to start the trial on 18th September 2010 because a large mob gathered in front of the court so the judge had to obey what they said. The mob also chanted death slogans against daddy and Christianity, they had long beards and were shouting a lot and that’s how they were trying to confuse our lawyer but they failed. And thanks to your support and sister Elizabeth who donated 50 Pounds which I gave to the lawyer and made him ready to go to the hearing. Our lawyer went to the court and he argued plus questioned the plaintiff marvelously. Our lawyer raised some very good and legal points. He continued to argue for about two and a half hours. There were some very interesting points which went against the plaintiff but I won’t disclose any information now as the judge has not given any decision yet. But the most interesting point I want to mention here is that when our lawyer asked the plaintiff (Muslim Cleric) that how do you get income? I don’t know about the court but according to my observation, everything was on our side and I saw the plaintiff’s face which was really upset. Who can perceive the unmitigated arrogance of Islam and its allies who demand that Israel commit  suicide?  How can Israel survive with Islam’s artillery and rockets on the Golan Heights and mountain tops overlooking her cities?  How can she withstand invasion  on a narrow strip of land nine miles wide?  How can Israel survive as a free and democratic Jewish state when flooded by millions of Muslims bred for the purpose of her conquest?

Someone must grow testicles and a spine; see and declare the evil intentions of Israel’s enemies and curse them.  Someone must tell Abbas & Obama to go to Hell.  Someone must defy the U.N. and  E.U.; tell them to go to Hell.

If “never again” has any meaning, this is the hour to stand up for it; to say it loud & clear and mean it.  We will learn, in the coming hours, whether Bibi has any of the stuff of greatness.  If he acts with cowardice and extends the construction freeze, in whole or in part, then the world will know that he is an unworthy traitor, and the Jews should act on that knowledge by replacing him with someone with conviction and courage enough to tell the world  where to go.

U.N. Abuse: Mahmoud Abbas Spews Feces

Thanks and a tip of the hat to EAWorldview for posting video and a trascript of Mahmoud Abbas  spewing feces at the General Assembly.  As is my habit, I will quote the most egregious lies out of context, interspersed with my comments.

Jews are building and living in Judea & Samaria, where the prophets lived long ago.  For what good reason should they be excluded ?   “Palestine” and  Israel are synonymous terms: they describe the same geographic area.  In 1948, Arabs invaded Israel and illegally seized East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza.
Did Falestinians kvetch about it?  Did they complain of  “illegal occupation” ?  Did they demand a state of their own?  Why not???

Palestinian land

“Palestinian” and Jew are synonymous terms.  “Palestinian” does not describe Muslim Arabs, it describes Jews.  That area was inhabited by Jews when Rome renamed the territory after the Philistines when they suppressed a rebellion.   In 638, caliph Umar  invaded, conquered and occupied the Levant.  Why would he do that? ¹ The Ottoman Empire lost it in World War One. Israel got some of it back, its their land, not Fallestinian’s.

We now face a unique situation. If international law stipulates the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by force, how can we, then, deal with the current situation where Israeli settlement policy will undermine the goal of establishing a geographically contiguous Palestinian state and implementation of the will of the international consensus that has been expressed in the various resolutions and principles, including the roadmap, which we all agreed upon and which is based on the principle of land for peace and ending the occupation that began in 1967.

Egypt and Jordan acquired that territory illegally   in 1948, they took it by force, in the process of trying to eliminate Israel  and exterminate the Jews.  In 1967 they tried again and Israel took her land back fighting  in self-defense.

Palestinian state

There is no good cause for establishing a Falestinian state. If there was, Egypt and Jordan would have established it between 1948 and 1967.  No demand was made for it and no offer to create it because there is no need for it.  There never was a  Falestinian state.  Jerusalem was never the capital of any nation other than Israel.

It was also covered up and said that due to the explosion and fire no trace of the suicide attackers was found.

Had Iran enjoyed veto privilege, would the Security Council and the IAEA  Director General have taken the same position in the nuclear issue?

Netanyahu challenges the U.N.

Thanks and a tip of the hat to Atlas Shrugs for posting four videos and a transcript of  P.M. Netanyahu’s address to the General Assembly.  I find it to be considerably shorter and more honest  than  President Obama’s address.

The United Nations was founded after the carnage of World War II and the horrors of the Holocaust.  It was charged with preventing the recurrence of such horrendous events.  Nothing has undermined that central mission more than the systematic assault on the truth.

Yesterday the President of Iran stood at this very podium, spewing his latest anti-Semitic rants.  Just a few days earlier, he again claimed that the Holocaust is a lie.

Netanyahu proceeds to present evidence of the  Holocaust, and Atlas provides links to it.  But outside of  one or two biblical references, no evidence of the Jew’s long term  connection to the land.   But the assault on truth goes far beyond the murder of six million, it includes denial of Jewish history and connection to the Levant.   I wish he had developed the full story rather than just one half of it.

Yesterday, the man who calls the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium.  To those who refused to come here and to those who left this room in protest, I commend you.  You stood up for moral clarity and you brought honor to your countries.

But to those who gave this Holocaust-denier a hearing, I say on behalf of my people, the Jewish people, and decent people everywhere: Have you no shame?  Have you no decency?

A mere six decades after the Holocaust, you give legitimacy to a man who denies that the murder of six million Jews took place and pledges to wipe out the Jewish state. What a disgrace!  What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations!

That is why the greatest threat facing the world today is the marriage between religious fanaticism and the weapons of mass destruction, and the most urgent challenge facing this body is to prevent the tyrants of Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Are the member states of the United Nations up to that challenge?  Will the international community confront a despotism that terrorizes its own people as they bravely stand up for freedom?

Will it take action against the dictators who stole an election in broad daylight and gunned down Iranian protesters who died in the streets choking in their own blood?

Will the international community thwart the world’s most pernicious sponsors and practitioners of terrorism?

Above all, will the international community stop the terrorist regime of Iran from developing atomic weapons, thereby endangering the peace of the entire world?

Who will bell the cat?  Who can destroy Iran’s centrifuges without being branded an aggressor?   The Security Council only acts by consensus; two of its permanent members have extensive financial ties to Iran.  China & Russia will veto any  realistic strategy.  If Iran will be prevented from  obtaining nukes, Israel must act forcefully, on her own initiative, before the final red line is crossed.

The jury is still out on the United Nations, and recent signs are not encouraging.

Rather than condemning the terrorists and their Iranian patrons, some here have condemned their victims.  That is exactly what a recent UN report on Gaza did, falsely equating the terrorists with those they targeted.

For eight long years, Hamas fired from Gaza thousands of missiles, mortars and rockets on nearby Israeli cities.   Year after year, as these missiles were deliberately hurled at our civilians, not a single UN resolution was passed condemning those criminal attacks.

We heard nothing – absolutely nothing – from the UN Human Rights Council, a misnamed institution if there ever was one.

In 2005, hoping to advance peace, Israel unilaterally withdrew from every inch of Gaza.  It dismantled 21 settlements and uprooted over 8,000 Israelis.

We didn’t get peace.  Instead we got an Iranian backed terror base fifty miles from Tel Aviv.   Life in Israeli towns and cities next to Gaza became a nightmare.

You see, the Hamas rocket attacks not only continued, they increased tenfold. Again, the UN was silent.

Finally, after eight years of this unremitting assault, Israel was finally forced to respond.  But how should we have responded?

Well, there is only one example in history of thousands of rockets being fired on a country’s civilian population.  It happened when the Nazis rocketed British cities during World War II.

During that war, the allies leveled German cities, causing hundreds of thousands of casualties.   Israel chose to respond differently.  Faced with an enemy committing a double war crime of firing on civilians while hiding behind civilians – Israel sought to conduct surgical strikes against the rocket launchers.

That was no easy task because the terrorists were firing missiles from homes and schools, using mosques as weapons depots and ferreting explosives in ambulances.

Israel, by contrast, tried to minimize casualties by urging Palestinian civilians to vacate the targeted areas.  We dropped countless flyers over their homes, sent thousands of text messages and called thousands of cell phones asking people to leave.

Never has a country gone to such extraordinary lengths to remove the enemy’s civilian population from harm’s way.   Yet faced with such a clear case of aggressor and victim, who did the UN Human Rights Council decide to condemn? Israel.

A democracy legitimately defending itself against terror is morally hanged, drawn and quartered, and given an unfair trial to boot.

By these twisted standards, the UN Human Rights Council would have dragged Roosevelt and Churchill to the dock as war criminals.  What a perversion of truth!  What a perversion of justice!

Its the double standard.  Netanyahu pointed it out and shined a light on it, but nobody was paying attention.  The camel is in the tent, filling it with excrement.

Will you accept this farce?    Because if you do, the United Nations would revert to its darkest days, when the worst violators of human rights sat in judgment against the law-abiding democracies, when Zionism was equated with racism and when an automatic majority could declare that the earth is flat.

If this body does not reject this report, it would send a message to terrorists everywhere: Terror pays; if you launch your attacks from densely populated areas, you will win immunity.

And in condemning Israel, this body would also deal a mortal blow to peace.  Here’s why.  When Israel left Gaza, many hoped that the missile attacks would stop.  Others believed that at the very least, Israel would have international legitimacy to exercise its right of self-defense.

The same UN that cheered Israel as it left Gaza and promised to back our right of self-defense now accuses us –my people, my country – of war crimes?  And for what?  For acting responsibly in self-defense.  What a travesty!

Israel justly defended itself against terror.  This biased and unjust report is a clear-cut test for all governments.   Will you stand with Israel or will you stand with the terrorists?

We must know the answer to that question now.   Now and not later.  Because if Israel is again asked to take more risks for peace, we must know today that you will stand with us tomorrow.

Netanyahu   wisely  made the case for kissing off the “peace talks” if the UN  follows through with their inversion of justice and morality, condemning Israel.   The last sentence in the quote immediately above is pure gold.

As deeply connected as we are to this land, we recognize that the Palestinians also live there and want a home of their own.   We want to live side by side with them, two free peoples living in peace, prosperity and dignity.

How insane!  It  should be common knowledge that Abbas & co. want a state instead of Israel, not a state beside Israel.  What part of “from the river to the sea” does Bibi not comprehend?  Predator-prey relationships do not work that way, they are permanent.

I believe such a peace can be achieved.  But only if we roll back the forces of terror, led by Iran, that seek to destroy peace, eliminate Israel and overthrow the world order.

We are reforming our system of global finance, beginning with Wall Street reform here at home, so that a crisis like this never happens again.  And we made the G20 the focal point for international coordination, because in a world where prosperity is more diffuse, we must broaden our circle of cooperation to include emerging economies — economies from every corner of the globe.

As for our common security, America is waging a more effective fight against al Qaeda, while winding down the war in Iraq.  Since I took office, the United States has removed nearly 100,000 troops from Iraq.  We have done so responsibly, as Iraqis have transitioned to lead responsibility for the security of their country.

By recovering a portion of her ancient patrimony and defeating the Arab armies, Israel proved Allah to be impotent. Muslims can not and will not tolerate that.

But this month, I am pleased that we have pursued direct negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians in Washington, Sharm el Sheikh and Jerusalem.

Now, peace must be made by Israelis and Palestinians, but each of us has a responsibility to do our part as well.  Those of us who are friends of Israel must understand that true security for the Jewish state requires an independent Palestine — one that allows the Palestinian people to live with dignity and opportunity.  And those of us who are friends of the Palestinians must understand that the rights of the Palestinian people will be won only through peaceful means — including genuine reconciliation with a secure Israel.

Israel and Palestine are synonymous terms. I know many in this hall count themselves as friends of the Palestinians.  But these pledges of friendship must now be supported by deeds.  Those who have signed on to the Arab Peace Initiative should seize this opportunity to make it real by taking tangible steps towards the normalization that it promises Israel.

A demand for return to 1967 borders is absolutely unacceptable, as is any scheme not resulting in full recognition, trade relations and permanent termination of the boycott & terrorism.  So long as the Arabs remain Muslim they will never make a peace initiative in good faith.

And those who speak on behalf of Palestinian self-government should help the Palestinian Authority politically and financially, and in doing so help the Palestinians build the institutions of their state.

Those who long to see an independent Palestine must also stop trying to tear down Israel.  After thousands of years, Jews and Arabs are not strangers in a strange land.  After 60 years in the community of nations, Israel’s existence must not be a subject for debate.

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

    While we were in the Mosque, the Prophet came out and said, “Let us go to the Jews” We went out till we reached Bait-ul-Midras. He said to them, “If you embrace Islam, you will be safe. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle, and I want to expel you from this land. So, if anyone amongst you owns some property, he is permitted to sell it, otherwise you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle.”

12. 13:41. See they not that We gradually reduce the land (of disbelievers, by giving it to the believers, in war victories) from its outlying borders. And Allâh judges, there is none to put back His Judgement and He is Swift at reckoning. [Emphasis added.]

So if there are of you a hundred steadfast persons, they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a thousand of you, they shall overcome two thousand with the Leave of Allâh. Citizen Warrior posted a video  about  Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff’s case, also linking to a very informative  previous  article.  Wolff & Wilders are on trial in Europe, accused of  insulting & inciting hatred against Muslims.  Jail terms and heavy fines hang over their heads because they spoke openly and honestly about the damnable doctrines & practices of Islam revealed in its own canon of scripture, tradition, exegesis & jurisprudence.   Others have been persecuted  for truth in Australia, Canada, England and Scandinavia.

In America, at present, we can not be brought up on criminal charges for revealing the demonic core of Islam because we are protected by the free speech clause of the First Amendment.  But Justice Stephen Breyer has brought our umbrella of protection into doubt: “And what is the crowded theater today? What is the being trampled to death?”

In the current political climate, Democrats are desperately seeking ways to squelch criticism of their policies & corruption.  Some seek to resurrect the “fairness doctrine”, others look to changes in the licensing requirements for radio stations.  They need to silence Rush Limbaugh and others  who speak truth to power.

Unfortunately, that domestic threat converges with a parallel international threat,  Bolstered by the controversy of International Burn a Qur’an Day.  The OIC and its member states have been screaming for international legislation to criminalize criticism of Islam.  At the opening of the 15^th session of the  Human Rights Council, they urged “internationally oriented preventive measures to combat negative religious stereotyping
including denigration of religions”¹ and  “It is through an outright  rejection of such acts and sustained engagement at evolving norms to deal with them that we would prevail against the extremists who are out to rock the very foundations of peaceful coexistence.”²

Two phrases in that last quote need elaboration.  “such acts” is a direct reference to International Burn a Qur’an Day but it expands to encompass all questioning & criticism of Islam.  “Evolving norms to deal with them”  may be wrongly assumed to refer to the annual Combating Defamation… resolutions but it has a more sinister reference.  Few beyond the ivory tower heights of international human rights NGOs are aware of this threat to our precious liberty.

The HRC  appointed an ad hoc committee  to explore and elaborate “complementary international standards”³.  The committee’s lofty title and charge tell us nothing  useful.  It is only by scratching beneath the surface that we discover  their mission: to write a binding protocol to ICERD which will give the force of international law to the defamation resolutions.

By encoding the content of the resolutions ⁴ into a protocol attached to ICERD⁵, they will be made enforcible by the World Court.  Signatories will be required by international law to legislate and enforce acts prohibiting criticism of Islam.

Steve Malzberg had a masterful rant on the subject of “hate speech” laws in the opening hour of his September 13 radio show.

Don’t Slack off Now!!!

The conflict is not yet won; only the nomination contest has been won.  With a few RINOs out of the way, the   path to the general election is clear.  We can not settle down before the idiot box and forget the campaign.  Now is the time to redouble our efforts.

Get out your check books and canvassing shoes.  Organize, contribute and knock on doors.   This campaign is not over, and certainly not won until the last vote is cast and the last recount litigated and appealed.

The RINOs are not finished. At least one of them will mount a write in campaign.  Others may also run as spoilers along with Gov. Crist.  Those nominees supported by the Tea Party movement will need continued financial and volunteer support to prevail in the general election.

If you declare victory and retire–if you do not vote, but depend on someone else to do it, the Democrats will win and waste all our efforts and investment.  Enthusiasm and turnout are as important in the general election as they were in the primaries.  Identify those who agree with you and shepherd them to the polling place.

When the campaign is finished and the votes are counted,  the next stage of the campaign begins.  We must remain vigilant and active throughout the lame duck session, until the next congress is sworn in.  The lame ducks retain power and can do great damage to our  liberty and prosperity.  They will do great damage unless we impose and maintain great pressure on them.

Once the new representatives and senators are sworn in, we must ride herd on them to prevent them from succumbing to the siren song of power, the urge to “go along to get along”.   We must remind them that they were sent to Washington to drain the swamp and reverse the Socialist agenda, not to become part of it, enrich themselves through graft and cement themselves in power.

Only one third of the senate seats are up for election.  Another third will be exposed to the voters in ’12,  and the rest in ’14.  We can not let up until then because we need a true working majority:

Cloture requires 60 votes. Overriding a veto requires 67 votes.  In calculating the vote count, we must subtract the  remaining recidivist RINOs from the Republican caucus.  We need enough new genuine Conservative senators to fill in the RINO gap and achieve the required super majorities.

We must learn from the blunder of 1994 instead of repeating it.  The political pendulum swings, we must continue to pull it our way and push against it when it swings leftward again.  No election is final, there will be another in two years.  Our gains are temporary, not permanent.  We must effectively promote and sell  the values and policies we treasure.

Hector Aleem Update 08-15-10

The family of Hector Aleem  sent out another update on  the status of his case. Unfortunately, the latest hearing accomplished nothing because his lawyer declined to participate due to lack of funds.

We don’t need to read between the lines to see that the stress is wearing his family’s patience very thin.  They are fatigued & frustrated, as anyone  would be in their situation.

If you are able and willing to contribute to the cause of obtaining justice for Hector,  you can find donation information in their Facebook group.  You may think that cases  such as Hector Aleem’s are remote, happening in  Asia, but they will not remain remote unless we stop  Islam’s infiltration & subversion of Europe and America.  Unless we act soon, we will be facing the same kind of persecution in our own countries.

Nothing happened in today’s hearing because our lawyer didn’t appear on today’s hearing
We are more deserving than any other flood victim. They lost their house and everything because of natural disaster but we have lost everything of ours because of nothing. I just hate it. Why people are donating them who wont even appreciate because they consider it KAFIR (infidel) MONEY but we are Christians and waiting for help for two years but nobody came forward. I thank every body who has donated but still we need lots of money because of our lawyer, I asked lots of organisations but nobody agreed I am very sure if we were Muslims all these organisations would have helped us 100 times. people are donating these flood victims in millions but nobody can donate us $5000, we dont have much to eat but still we say that our father should be out we dont need money for anything else but I think people are heartless. We have paid our lawyer $1000 and unlimited to his clerk for filing and papers and to him for the gas of his car this amount makes another $1000 and he doesn’t considers it as fee but only expenses for him but he didn’t appear in court in today’s hearing because he want all money together. Even our own church didn’t help us. I get $1,$2 or $5 and sometimes $50 or $100 which is very rare. What can this amount do? A sister is helping us in collecting donations and I know she is having too much trouble even from her own Church and I asked another brother to request people for donation on his group but he refused because he said telling people to collect money will lessen his readers and members, they all will leave the group immediately. People can spend $15 or $20 in buying useless Shane Dawson or Shay Tard shirts or buy farmville or mafia wars cash but they can’t help someone who’s life is in risk. We are living in this difficult country that we cannot even do jobs. But nobody even arranged any asylum for us.
