Here we go again with the Double Standards. Michelle Malkin has a piece at RCP and she is asking why the Lame Stream Media isn’t screeching their usual screeching yakkity-yak.
Read the piece and afterwards, send a get-well wish to the Airman.
When Peaceniks Attack, Journalists Snooze
A young Air Force airman is fighting for his life in Camden, N.J. He was shot on Independence Day by a crazed gunman who reportedly had a beef with the military and the U.S. government and “wanted to make a statement” on the Fourth of July. Have you heard about the plight of 22-year-old McGuire Air Force Base loadmaster Jonathan Schrieken? Probably not.
The shooting got no mention in The New York Times — not even a squib in a back section (though the paper did see fit to put the shooting of a 7-year-old girl in Trenton on the front page).
“Turns out the guy left a couple of suicide notes stating how much he hated the military and he wanted to go out making a statement, so he chose to make his statement on Independence Day trying to kill a soldier. We are very worried about our Airman . . . he’s like a son to me. He’s been to Iraq and Afghanistan on our behalf and then gets shot in his own driveway here in the U.S. by an anti-war, anti-American lunatic. This is gut wrenching.”
Now, imagine the scenario flipped: What if a soldier had attempted to murder a peace activist over the holidays in order to “make a statement”? The Times would be holding front-page vigil, and Katie Couric’s brow would be furrowed for a week. The yakkity yaks on “The View” would be clucking their tongues about the culture of violence bred by the military — and who knows what Rosie O’Donnell would be dressing her poor child in to exploit the story on her website.
The above are samples of the whole article but I am sure you get the gist.
Bush: Will he stay the course as others run? “America good! Al Qaeda bad!” – A trader in the Qatana bazaar, Ramadi, Iraq
Rich Lowry…NY Post
THIS is a sentiment that the Iraqi trader felt safe to utter as a visiting U.S. gen eral passed by, according to John Burns of The New York Times, only after a furtive glance “up and down the narrow refuse-strewn street to check who might be listening.” In a microcosm, this is the reason why we’re finally making progress against al Qaeda in Iraq: The protection afforded by American combat power has made it possible for Iraqis in Sunni areas to turn against the terror group.
In a global struggle against Islamic extremism, it is an incontestably welcome development that ordinary Sunnis in the Arab heartland are spurning al Qaeda. The extremist group has been on a campaign of savagery in Iraq that has discredited its own cause. The grassroots revolt against it means that it is within our reach to deny al Qaeda its most important current geopolitical objective, which is plunging Iraq into a bloody chaos in which it can thrive.
But a group of Republican senators have picked precisely this moment to call for deconstructing the troop surge that has begun to give us the upper hand against al Qaeda. They thus reveal a key dishonesty in the debate over the war: Everyone professes to want to fight al Qaeda in Iraq – as opposed to policing the sectarian war – but the number of politicians willing to support the means to that end is ever-dwindling.
These clowns never give up. Well, neither do I. I just don’t have, like Dennis Miller said, the opportunity others do to get the word out. I try hard via the blogs I write for and visit.
I was called to attention of a certain topic by a blogger hailing by madconductor. We at the Victory Caucus serve but one purpose and one purpose only…TOTAL VICTORY in this Global War On Terror. Unfortunately, there are some that don’t have the stomach for the requirements needed for a TOTAL VICTORY in the Global War On Terror.
If you are a member of the Victory Caucus, you will have access to madconductor’s post I am about to expound upon. He left a post on a particular thread, complete with several links which, I will place here in due time. Let us begin.
Hamas and The Muslim Brotherhood are in a love-hate relationship because Hamas participated in the elections.
Zawahiri severly chastised Hamas over their “political process”. It became so intense that they battled each other on their web sites.
While there is no disagreement with Al-Qaeda types on long term goals, the tactics to achieve them had estranged Hamas from their more violent brethren. This has obviously changed.
The Muslim Brotherhood (Hamas) Now Faces Difficult Decisions:
Some in Hamas are openly discussing making the Gaza Strip Islamic state.
I would think this would give pause to those who repeatedly say that the Ikhwan could and would accept the results of elections and have and will work with non-Islamist coalition partners to advance a broad agenda.
Hamas showed that the discourse of dialogue and coalition building and the strategy participating in a process its ideologues cannot completely control, will be thrown out if the chance for armed victory emerges.
As destructive as the fighting with Fatah has been in general, it will open the door for a thawing of relations between Hamas and the Salafist groups. The future of that relationship should tell us a great deal about what the real intentions are of Hamas, and by extension, the Muslim Brotherhood.
Well, it seems that after the Department of Justice’s decision to name CAIR and ISNA as unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land case, the senior leadership at the DOJ has suddenly discovered “scheduling conflicts” that will not allow its leaders to meet the Islamist leader in a planned community outreach program.
The June 27 event, to have been presided over by AG Alberto Gonzalez, is now not being held. A panelist was to have been the vice president of ISNA. Several prominent CAIR members, as well as many of its allies, were to be present.
It seems to me this is the first time the DOJ has had the intestinal fortitude to take a step back away from groups that have pushed their way into the public arena as representatives of the Muslim community while simultaneously having several of its members investigated and indicted by the federal government in terrorism related cases and other cases.
At the same time, it seems that CAIR, which holds itself out as the representative of the Muslim community in the United States, has seen its membership plummet 90 percent since 9-11.
“They” are on the move. “They” being Enemies of The State, a Clear and present Danger to the survival of the American way of life and our traditional values. Their are people that HATE those traditional values and do whatever it takes to eliminate them, even if it means getting in bed with the terrorists to make it so.
Keith Ellison to speak at banquet of unindicted co-conspirator in terror funding case:
That’s right, a United States Congressman, Keith Ellison (D-MN), is going to speak at a CAIR banquet, despite the fact that CAIR has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas funding case.
Joe Kaufman is right: Ellison should resign.
An Americans Against Hate press release:
KEITH ELLISON TO SPEAK AT (UNINDICTED CO-CONSPIRATOR) CAIR BANQUET TONIGHTAMERICANS AGAINST HATE CALLS ON ELLISON TO RESIGN
(Coral Springs, FL) Tonight, June 16, 2007, Congressman Keith Ellison will be a featured speaker at the First Annual Banquet of the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Minnesota). This, after CAIR had just been named an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a Hamas financing case put forward by the United States government.
Ellison, less than three weeks ago, was the keynote speaker at the 4th Annual Convention of the Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS-Minnesota). While he spoke, MAS-Minnesota had on its website material discussing waging war against non-Muslims and the murdering of Jews. The material is still located on the group’s site.
Following his appearance, Americans Against Hate (AAH) demanded that Congressman Ellison denounce MAS for its anti-Semitic and anti-Christian statements or resign from office. Ellison has remained silent on the issue.
AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman, stated, “Being that Keith Ellison refuses to denounce the Muslim American Society, and being that he is now going to be speaking at an event sponsored by a group named by the U.S. government as a co-conspirator to Hamas, we have no choice but to call on Keith Ellison to resign from his held office as United States Representative. Congressman Ellison, by openly cavorting with bigoted and pro-terrorist elements in our society, can no longer work for the best interests of our nation.”
In Hillary’s Senate Financial Disclosure Report, there are listings as to just how much cash these two are raking in. How dare they whine about how the rich are exploiting the poor. I don’t begrudge people making as much money they so choose to make. That is one of the MANY advantages this country allows people to do. There are NO guarantees. But, if you are going to make zillions of US dollars, don’t run around whining about all those evil businesses with their “windfall” profits and saying you are going to take your ill gotten wealth (gains) and redistribute it to those in need, all the while pocketing YOUR wealth, ill gotten or otherwise.
On the speaking circuit, the former President Clinton made more than $10 million in paid speeches last year, according to new filings that show he and his presidential- candidate wife have at least $10 million in the bank, and may have closer to $50 million. As a side-bar, I wouldn’t pay a single wooden nickel to hear him speak about anything.
And, apparently, the Clintons are deeply involved with CLSA, the fifth largest bank in the world.
CLSA is a leading brokerage, investment banking and private equity group in the Asia-Pacific Markets. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Hong Kong, CLSA’s major shareholder is France’s Credit Agricole, which merged in 2003 with Credit Lyonnais, to form the 5th largest bank in the world by assets and the 5th largest bank in the world by Tier One capital. CLSA enjoys substantial staff ownership which contributes to its independent stance and operations.
Somethings just make me wonder.
“Raoul is a class act isn’t he? New name for that sicko creepazoid “Shitehawk Raoul”. Head full of mush, mouth full of toxic waste. This guy is cruising for a bruising and needs my cherry wood cane up side his head….er…well maybe not my cane. It was expensive!Would by any chance, this guy that’s shoveling the brown stuff , would his name be Raol?
How about a Louisville Slugger instead?Sorry you had to read this gutter trash Miss Beth. It was uncalled for and out of line. And this from a person…and I use that term lightly… who proclaims to all the world that he, Shitehawk Raoul talks to Jesus and all the rest of us are hypocrites. What a complete and utter moron this jerk is.”
This is obviously a Jihadi Troll Plant. “IT” fits the relative descriptors.
More updates will follow.

The moonbats are losing ground and losing fast. More and more sick and tired Americans are standing up to be heard and voice their “displeasure” with the current crop of Leftinistra.
The moonbats are in a tizzy as to what to do about because their MOs have failed to stem the tide. More and more Americans are ignoring their mantras.
Poor moonbats. reid started the major cascade towards obscurity and he further cemented his personal and professional demise by failing to succeed in his back peddling of demoralizing our troops and calling them losers. What a jerk.
From Confederate Yankee with a hat-tip from Wake Up Americans for publishing multiple letters from troops “over there”. These types of stories are ignored by the Lame Stream Media and the Leftinistra. Why is that? It is because they counteract the lies of the reids and the murthas and their ilk of liars, deceivers and clap-trap artists.
I have previously posted a letter from LT Nichols and Corporal Tyler Rock. Here are some more.
From OpFor, a portion of a letter from a Marine Captain that states it perfectly:
I just wanted to let you know what is happening where I am in Iraq. I don’t want to say this is in response to Harry Reid, but his comments the other day are not in line with what we’re seeing.
We are winning over here in Al Anbar province. I don’t know about Baghdad, but Ramadi was considered THE hotspot in Al Anbar, the worse province, and it has been very quiet. The city is calm, the kids are playing in the streets, the local shops are open, the power is on at night, and daily commerce is the norm rather than the exception. There have been no complex attacks since March. That is HUGE progress. This quiet time is allowing the Iraqi Army and Iraqi Police to establish themselves in the eyes of the people. The Iraqi people also want IA’s and IP’s in their areas. The Sunni Sheiks are behind us and giving us full support. This means that almost all Sunnis in Al Anbar are now committed to supporting the US and Iraqi forces. It also means that almost all insurgents left out here are AQ. FYI, the surge is just beginning. Gen Petraeus’ strategy is just getting started and we’re seeing huge gains here.
However, you don’t see Harry Reid talking about this. When I saw what he said, it really pissed me off. That guy does not know what is going on over here because he hasn’t bothered to come and find out. The truth on the ground in Al Anbar is not politically convenient for him, so he completely ignored it.
1st Lt, Matthew McGirr, another Ramadi Marine:
We are reaching a tipping point in this fight. We have finally learned this culture. We have finally begun to commit the necessary forces. We have truly learned to fight a counter-insurgency. Very real gains are being made despite claims from our Congress that we have already lost. A counter-insurgency battle is not one of quickly attained and easily recognizeable benchmarks. It is not won in a year or four. It takes time, resolve, and a willingness to use what we have learned from past mistakes and expectations. From firsthand experience I can tell you, this “Surge” is working. We need to continue to support these people and give them a fighting chance at creating a nation on their own terms.
To echo the sentiments of my fellow Marine in 1/6, the reality of what is happening on the ground in places like Ramadi is not being reported to the American public. The pundits and politicians on both sides do not fully grasp the conditions on the ground here. They are arrogantly and irresponsibly using this war and the troops who fight in it for political gain and election currency. They manipulate the truth or do not care enough to seek it out. At least I know where I stand with the citizens of Ar Ramadi.
“We’re not losing this war.”
That’s how a Las Vegas Army Reserve sergeant and Iraq war veteran who is heading out again for Operation Iraqi Freedom reacted Friday to Nevada Sen. Harry Reid’s assessment that the war in Iraq is “lost.”
“I don’t believe the war is lost,” Sgt. George Turkovich, 24, said as he stood with other soldiers near a shipping container that had been packed for their deployment to Kuwait.
The soldiers leave today for a six-week training stint at Camp Atterbury, Ind., before heading overseas to run a camp in support of the war effort. It is uncertain if their yearlong tour will take them to Iraq.
“Unfortunately, politics has taken a huge role in this war affecting our rules of engagement,” said Turkovich, a 2001 Palo Verde High School graduate. “This is a guerrilla war that we’re fighting, and they’re going to tie our hands.
“So it does make it a lot harder for us to fight the enemy, but we’re not losing this war,” he said.
As Spree so eloquently stated: “Ouch. Do Democrat leaders support the troops? The troops sure don’t seem to think so, and they’re more than likely right.”

LOL!! It is truly amazing to me…and others. The Moonbats that are in training at the RNC blog are some of the most ignorant I have encountered in my short nearly six years of blogging.
Townhall is my most recent blog as the others were training grounds for me anyway. I traveled the web reading and posting until I decided to call Townhall my home.
I stopped by the GOP.COM blog a little over a year ago and was amazed at the fruitloops being self-professed intelligentsia. One sample…I still like to goad the overly emotional children from time to time.
Proof POSITIVE That reid Is A Liar
“Sen. Reid seems to be in a state of confusion. Today, he said the President ‘ignored’ the Iraq Study Group by sending more troops to secure Baghdad when the Iraq Study Group report said it would support this step. Sen. Reid also called for a regional conference when one is already set to begin in days, called for emphasizing political reconciliation in Iraq when the Senate’s own bill cuts $243 million vital for political reconciliation, and said his meetings with the President are unproductive despite characterizing his discussion with the President last Wednesday as a ‘good exchange’ minutes after the meeting concluded.”– White House Deputy Press Secretary Dana Perino, 4/23/07

And the reply was? LOL!!!
Poor widdle trollboy, must be sad and lonely tonight…

Now, I ask you all. Was that the response of an intelligent human being or is it my imagination that this sad excuse for a roach is “Rather” confused?
This particular “child” is a suspected jihadist blogger troll plant and several of us at Victory Caucus have exposed them for what they are. This merely solidifies the assertions.
Take heart, folks. They are here and are “Rather” pathetic.
Thanks for the confirmation, ZERO!!

Evidently, The Victory Caucus located here is having an adverse affect on the Defeatist Moonbats in this country. Their days are numbered and they know it. In some way, site meters, to them, tell the tale. Everyone knows or should know that all a site meter does is give someone an indication as to traffic to a site. Depending on the type of site meter one has, it can also be a useful tool tracking normal and abnormal visitors. Usually, phantom visitors will hack into other sites and hail from there…too funny actually. A truly cowardly act, always “hiding” but bot very well, LOL!!!!!!
If the Moonbats don’t like us and have to spread lies and rumors, it must be a good thing. LOL!!
Oh. They don’t like Townhall, either.
