There are many petitions demanding impeachment, but those at Petition 2 Congress stand out above the rest because they can email themselves to the signer’s Representative & Senators. These are demands for action, not fund raisers or list building tools. One of these nine petitions has sent > 17,000 emails to Congress, together, they have sent nearly 30,000 emails demanding impeachment.
If you know your Zip Code, you can send these petitions to Congress by filling in a simple form for each of them. You do not need to know the name or district number of your Representative.
No bill of impeachment will be introduced until members of the House of Representatives feel the heat and fear being removed from office in the next election cycle if they fail to perform their duty. No trial will take place in the Senate until Senators feel the heat and and fear being replaced with Conservatives in the next election cycle.
The imperious traitor will not be impeached, convicted and removed from office unless we disrespectfully and contumaciously demand it, with loud voices, in large numbers. No law is worth more than our will and ability to enforce it; the Constitution is no different. We can not wait for the other guy to enforce it, we must step up to the plate and take a swing at the ball.
What kind of government will your grand children live under? The WW2 generation decided to keep our representative republic. Can we do any less for our progeny? For their sake, sign these petitions. Email them to Congress. Email their links to everyone you can hope to influence. Embed a petition widget on your blog. Post petition links in blog and web site comments with an exhortation to sign them. Reblog or cross post this blog post. Do everything you can to make these petitions go viral.
If not us, then who? If not now, then when??
A few minutes ago I returned from a two mile trip, one way by bicycle, to the local Dollar General. My back pack contains:
- 5# of all purpose flour @ $2.00, which was $1.25 a few months ago
- 2# of pinto beans @ $1.50, which was $1.00 a few months ago.
- 18oz. of peanut butter @ $1.65, which was $1.50 a few months ago.
Big deal, you say? Goddamn well it is! My income last year was $2,127. I can not afford this damned inflation.
The AssWholes in Congress caused this inflation by effectively outlawing the extensive domestic oil exploration production & refining necessary to counter the joint forces of OPEC and expanding development in Asia.
In ’95, Slick Willy vetoed a bill which would have allowed development of the ANWAR field. It would be producing now if Congress had over ridden the veto. They did not vote to over ride because they want us to suffer. They want us to be in pain and angry, hoping that our anger will be directed at the minority who voted for common sense.
I am pissed off! But my outrage is directed at the AssWholes who:
- prevented domestic exploration, production & refining
- mandated & subsidized grain ethanol production for use as motor fuel, policies that directly decrease the production of food stuff and increase its cost
- join the chorus of the siren song of ‘global warming’ which is designed to facilitate seizure of money and power through oppressive taxes on energy.
The inflation about which I bitterly bitch does not result from the policies of corporations or their officers. It does not result from ‘price gouging’. It results from the deliberately detrimental policies of the Democrat Party and the AssKissing RINOS who enable them.
Senator John McCain, who recently flip flopped in favor of drilling, is one of them. If the Republican Party nominates that RINO AssWhole, they have no excuse!!! I urge Conservative Republicans to rise up in revolt disrespectfully demanding that McCain be dumped and replaced by a genuine Conservative able and willing to wage an effective campaign based on Conservative principles.
On November 4, one half of the House and one third of the Senate will be up for re-election. Take that opportunity to remove from office those who voted for inflation and dependency on the only producing asset of our enemies.
Now is the time to go to http://www.congress.org and send an email to your Congressman & Senators disrespectfully demanding removal of the unreasonable barriers to domestic petroleum production & refining and nuclear power generation. Tell them you’ll remember in November, then do it. If not us, who; if not now, when?
Join the Patriot’s Group
Here we go again. We rallied to defeat this once before and we almost didn’t make it. GWB vetoed the treasonous mess and the Lame Duck CONgress could not override the veto.
This time around, let’s rally to the point that the measure of defeat won’t even pass.
Visit Miss Beth’s blog and register to join the group. The below is her post:Stop the Withdrawal Timelines/Date Certain for Surrender!
I have a post up at my group spot that lists the email addresses of all the staffers of the original 24 White Flag Republicans with the additions of Pete Domenici, Richard Lugar, Lamar Alexander, Rodney Alexander and John Sununu.
You have to be an approved member of my group to get to this list; however, I’ve made it easy for you…the subscription information is at the top of the blog. I’ll be notified when you subscribe and can approve you right away.
WARNING: Trolls will not be allowed to subscribe and will have their subscription denied.
I’m also listing the link to Congress.org where you can tell your elected representatives to vote NO on this withdrawal nonsense. That link is here:
This link is SPECIFICALLY for TELLING THE SENATE: “The Senate SHOULD NOT Vote to Start Withdrawing Troops from Iraq”
If the United States Senate passes a resolution, non-binding or otherwise, that criticizes the commitment of additional troops to Iraq that General Petraeus has asked for and that the president has pledged, and if the Senate does so after the testimony of General Petraeus on January 23 that such a resolution will be an encouragement to the enemy, I will not contribute to any Republican senator who voted for the resolution. Further, if any Republican senator who votes for such a resolution is a candidate for re-election in 2008, I will not contribute to the National Republican Senatorial Committee unless the Chairman of that Committee, Senator Ensign, commits in writing that none of the funds of the NRSC will go to support the re-election of any senator supporting the non-binding resolution
This pledge can be modified to bring it up to date, letting these WFR’s know their political careers are over should they continue to undermine the troops, embolden the enemy and signal a date certain for surrender to the enemy. Join Victory Caucus, take the pledge, modify it and then email (as often as possible, preferably every 1/2 hour) the staffers your displeasure at this issue being brought up yet again and the possibility of their bosses crossing the line yet again. Let them know no matter how many times it’s brought up, you don’t intend to stand still for it and will work to have them removed from office each and every time they show even the least inkling of working with Harry Reid and those vested in our defeat.
It’s time once again to ramp up a grassroots effort to stop this nonsense once and for all. We did it with immigration; let’s get it done with this travesty of congress trying to fight a war from their cushy seats and trying to override the military and the officers who know the real story. Let the military do its job and quit trying to tie their hands! Let us win this war so the troops CAN come home!
Sign the petition, sign the pledge, get the emails going.
Miss Beth will have to approve your membership

It is that time again where our public officials, the retreat in defeat crowd will once again make a big show voting on bills with timelines that they already know will be vetoed and that they do not have the votes to over ride.
This post is following up on Miss Beth’s previous post found here.
Beth has asked me to publish my letter that has been sent and will continue to be sent to members of both the Senate and to Congress, on a daily basis, until they understand that defeat is not an option and trying to snatch defeat from the amazing progress we have been seeing just as General Petraeus has gotten the troops he requested for the new strategy, will cost them their political positions in the next election.
The Senate should not vote to start withdrawing troops from Iraq within 120 days.
General Petraeus has started implementing the new strategies and is seeing tremendous success and anyone, ANYONE that tries to undermine that success will be held publicly responsible by EVERY conservative blog for every man, woman and child that dies as a result of a premature withdrawal, OR the tying of our troops hands to ensure defeat.
al-Qaeda has just recently been outed by Michael Yon as having fed people their own children for lunch, with those poor childrens mouths stuffed like pigs at a feast, and this is who the Democrats and some wobbly Republicans wish to abandon the innocent men, women and children of Iraqi to?
We will see to it that those images are blasted across the world and along with those images, the politicians names, each and every one of them will be shown side by side with the horrible pictures of the atrocities said politicians helped al-qaeda accomplish.
COUNT ON IT.
Anyone that votes with Baghdad Reid and his ilk against our continued efforts in Iraq will be forever associated with the chaos and consequences of what follows, just as Democrats have been associated, since we withdrew from Vietnam, with the Cambodia killing fields.
Make no mistake, voting for a timeline, is encouraging our enemies to believe we are weak and cannot stomach a fight when it gets tough and it also serves to demoralize our troops.
My blog as well as other blogs have those words published from OUR TROOPS themselves in letters and emails we received asking us to “keep congress off their backs”, so that they can get the job done, which THEY say is possible.
We Win, They Lose.
This is the only outcome acceptable.
Sending emails, calling, faxing can all be tiring, but it is what needs to be done to be heard over the screeching from the left.
Feel free to use this letter or write your own, but we must rise up, stand tall, be firm and make our voices heard.
The silent majority will be silent no more.
Lets roll folks.
(Note: At the top of this page is a link to join a google group, Beth has made available, every email for every staffer of the 24 targeted Republicans that needs to hear your voice, I would suggest joining the group, because these emails are divided up so you can simply copy them, paste them into the “send to” line and send them out, 50 at a time, enmasse.)
I have made the full list available on its own page here to make it easier for you.
[Update] Gallup has the President’s approval rating down to 29%, second term, country at war, I perfectly understand this number, what I do NOT understand is how a NEW Democratically controlled Congress, in a poll by the same organization, Gallup, has an approval rating of under HALF the Presidents… Congress approval rating is down to 14%, the lowest in the history of Gallup for congress.
So the president, in a time of war, on his second term is TWICE as popular as Congress….in the recent examples from the far left liberals, isn’t that some kind of “mandate”, telling Congress they are heading in the wrong direction and perhaps they should be trying to help America win instead of trying to force us into defeat?
Bush: Will he stay the course as others run? “America good! Al Qaeda bad!” – A trader in the Qatana bazaar, Ramadi, Iraq
Rich Lowry…NY Post
THIS is a sentiment that the Iraqi trader felt safe to utter as a visiting U.S. gen eral passed by, according to John Burns of The New York Times, only after a furtive glance “up and down the narrow refuse-strewn street to check who might be listening.” In a microcosm, this is the reason why we’re finally making progress against al Qaeda in Iraq: The protection afforded by American combat power has made it possible for Iraqis in Sunni areas to turn against the terror group.
In a global struggle against Islamic extremism, it is an incontestably welcome development that ordinary Sunnis in the Arab heartland are spurning al Qaeda. The extremist group has been on a campaign of savagery in Iraq that has discredited its own cause. The grassroots revolt against it means that it is within our reach to deny al Qaeda its most important current geopolitical objective, which is plunging Iraq into a bloody chaos in which it can thrive.
But a group of Republican senators have picked precisely this moment to call for deconstructing the troop surge that has begun to give us the upper hand against al Qaeda. They thus reveal a key dishonesty in the debate over the war: Everyone professes to want to fight al Qaeda in Iraq – as opposed to policing the sectarian war – but the number of politicians willing to support the means to that end is ever-dwindling.
Why the man doesn’t show more backbone EVERY DAY is a mystery!
President Bush invoked executive privilege Monday to deny requests by Congress for testimony from two former aides in connection with the firings of federal prosecutors.
I find it “Rather” interesting how such a non-issue as this is still an issue with the friggin’ mutants of the Leftinistra. Haven’t they seen their dwindling approval ratings recently? Morons.
UPDATE…7/9…1050 hours. CBS is kinda late on the ball here but here it IS anyway:
Bush Fires First Shot At Congress
In the first of several contentious battles on tap between Congress and the White House, President Bush has invoked executive privilege to deny testimony from two former high-level aides regarding their role in the firings of U.S. attorneys. More…
And there yas have it. The Legislative Branch will do its best to rewrite the Constitution.
In a letter to the heads of the House and Senate Judiciary panels, White House counsel Fred Fielding insisted that Mr. Bush was acting in good faith and refused lawmakers’ demand that the president explain the basis for invoking the privilege.
“You may be assured that the president’s assertion here comports with prior practices in similar contexts, and that it has been appropriately documented,” the letter said.
Retorted House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers:
“Contrary what the White House may believe, it is the Congress and the courts that will decide whether an invocation of executive privilege is valid, not the White House unilaterally,” the Michigan Democrat said in a statement.
The exchange Monday was the latest step in a slow-motion legal waltz between the White House and lawmakers toward eventual contempt-of-Congress citations. If neither side yields, the matter could land in federal court.
What IS it with the Lame Stream Media? What IS their deep, dark, secretive agenda? Why won’t they admit to their biased reporting?
Last August, when one federal judge ruled unconstitutional the monitoring of overseas phone calls with suspected terrorists, the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts all highlighted the defeat for the Bush administration. But on Friday, after an appeals court overturned the earlier decision, ABC and CBS were silent while NBC again distorted the policy as “domestic spying.” Last August 17, ABC’s World News anchor Charles Gibson teased: “A federal judge tells the Bush administration one of its main terror-fighting tools violates the Constitution.” Gibson introduced the story of the “major legal defeat” for the Bush administration and correspondent Martha Raddatz filed a full report in which she described the ruling as a “significant blow” to the administration. While the words “Domestic Surveillance” were displayed on screen, NBC anchor Campbell Brown relayed that the judge “harshly condemned” the program.
Yet, eleven months later, though Gibson anchored Friday night during the holiday week, ABC’s World News skipped the reversal from the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals as ABC led with the problem of people defrauding the government of Hurricane Katrina relief money. Neither ABC or CBS caught up on Saturday night.
Humph! Imagine that! Silence of the lambs, as it were.
Nah! There’s no bias in the Lame Stream Media. Not at all. If you believe that, I’ll show you an intelligent troll.
President Bush accused Democratic lawmakers on Saturday of being unable to live up to their duties, citing Congress’ inability to pass legislation to fund the federal government. More…
Gee. How can we tell? What have they done that has become law? What have they done besides under-mining the war effort and gave every effort to demoralize our troops and enable the enemy?
The 101th DEMOCRAT MAJORITY CONgress is a dismal failure and is the WORSE CONgress in the history of the United States.
