I learn from God Discussion, that the St. Louis chapter of CAIR
has put up a billboard offering a dvd containing the PBS hagiography of
Moe: Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet.”. The billboard offers two methods of
contacting CAIR to ask questions about Moe or to order the dvd:

The billboard advertises a web address: http://www.knowthelegacy.com/ . It also offers a
single sentence about Moe: “The man
who came in peace
.”.

Lets examine the veracity of that description.  Tafsir Ibn
Kathir  quotes three hadith, two of which are relevant to this
issue.

(I was sent with the sword
just before the Last Hour, so that Allah is worshipped alone

without partners. My sustenance was provided for me from under the
shadow of my spear. Those who oppose my command were humiliated and
made inferior, and whoever imitates a people, he is one of them.)

When
a man says that he was “sent with the sword”, I have doubts about his
passivity.  When he says that his income came from his spear and
those who oppose him were humiliated, the doubt increases in intensity.
But there is more.

of Malik i.

e. Ibn Mighwal, he on the authority of Abu Husayn, he on the authority
of Mujahid,

he on the authority of the Apostle of Allah, may Allah bless him; he
said:

I am Muhammad and Ahmad, I am Rasul al-Rahmah, I am Rasul al-Malhamah, I

am al-Muqaffi and a1-Hashir; I have been
raised for Jihad and I am not raised for



tillage.

Moe said that he was “raised for Jihad“,
notfor tillage“. What is
Jihad; is it peaceful? How are Jihad and agriculture alternatives? Lets
tackle the first question with a translator’s footnote to Surah
Al-Baqarah 2:190 which defines the word.

(V.2:190) Al-Jihâd (holy fighting) in Allâh’s Cause
(with full force of numbers and weaponry) is given the utmost
importance in Islâm
and is one of its pillar (on which it
stands). By 
Jihâd Islâm is established, Allâh’s
Word is made superior, (His Word being 

ilaha illallâh 
which
means none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh), and His Religion (Islâm) is propagated.
By abandoning 
Jihâd (may
Allâh protect us from that) Islâm
is destroyed
and the Muslims fall into an inferior position;
their honour is lost, their
lands are stolen, their rule and authority vanish
Jihâd is an obligatory duty in Islâm on
every Muslim,

and he who tries to escape from this duty, or does not in his innermost
heart wish to fulfil this duty, dies with one of the qualities of a
hypocrite.


Narrated
‘Abdullâh bin Mas‘ûd رضي الله عنه: I asked Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله
عليه وسلم “O Allâh’s Messenger! What is the best deed?” He replied, “To
offer the 
Salât (prayers)
at their early fixed stated times.” I asked, “What is next in
goodness?” He replied, “To be good and dutiful to your parents.” I
further asked, “What is next in
goodness?” He replied, “To participate in Jihâd in Allâh’s Cause.

I did not ask Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم anymore and if I had
asked him more, he would have told me more. (

According to the translators, Jihad is “holy fighting” , of the utmost
importance, a pillar of Islam  that establishes and propagates
Islam. If Jihad is abandoned, Muslims lose their temporal power.
But what is the legal definition?

Chapter O9.0: Jihad

(O:Jihad means to
war against non-Muslims
,
and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare
to establish the religion.
And it is the lesser jihad. As for
the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self
(nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace)
said as he was returning from jihad.

“We have returned from the lesser jihad to the
greater jihad.”

The scriptural
basis for jihad,
prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such
Koranic verses as:

-1- “Fighting
is prescribed for you’
‘ (Koran 2:216);

-2- “Slay
them wherever you find them
” (Koran 4:89);

-3- “Fight
the idolators utterly
” (Koran 9:36);

and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari
and Muslim
that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

I
have been commanded to fight people until they testify
that
there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,
and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved
their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam
over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah”;

and the hadith reported by Muslim,

“To go forth in the morning or evening to
fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and
everything in it.”Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts
of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give
him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he
dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally
attended, some twenty-seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought
in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy
ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent
others to fight, himself remaining at Medina, and these were
forty-seven in number.)

Jihad
means war against infidels, of course it must be purely defensive,
right?

O9.1: The Obligatory Character of Jihad

Jihad
is a communal obligation
(def: c3.2).  When
enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer
obligatory upon others (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet’s
saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

“He who provides the equipment for a soldier in
jihad has himself performed jihad,”

and Allah Most High having said:

“Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit
behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah’s path with their
property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their
property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to
each, Allah has promised great good” (Koran 4:95).

If none
of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then
everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there
was a possibility of having performed it.
In the time of the
Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal
obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are
two possible states in respect to non-Muslims
.

The first is when they are in their own
countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation,

and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a
communal obligation,” meaning
upon the Muslims each year
.

The second
state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in
which case jihad is personally obligatory
(def: c3.2) upon the
inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with
whatever they can).

Offensive
Jihad
against passive infidels is fard Kifaya, a communal
obligation and required in every
year.  Perhaps we should cross check this to make sure of
it.

The Shafi’i & Hanifi schools of fiqh hold offensive Jihad to be
fard Kifaya and constant. We need a third opinion, lets turn to the
Maliki school.

30.2b. Inviting people to Islam first

And it is preferable, according
to us, that the enemy are not fought until they have been invited


to the din of Allah except if
they attack first
.

[The Malikis prefer that each group be called upon to abandon their
disbelief and be called to the

shahada whose contents are not prescribed. He calls to the general
message of the Prophet for three

days in succession unless they attack first. Then the call is not
recommended. Indeed, it becomes

obligatory to fight them.]

Three strikes and you are out: Islamic law holds
offensive Jihad, undertaken on Islam’s initiative against passive
infidels, without provocation, to be an  annual mandate.  Moe
said that he was raised for Jihad, not for tillage.  One hadith
illustrates the difference: Jihad and agriculture are alternative
sources of income and wealth.  Jihad is preferred over
agriculture.

Sunan Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When
you
enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails
of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad(struggle in the way of
Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail
over you
,
and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

What
would they abandon?  Jihad. What would they return to?
Jihad. What is their religion? Jihad. What is Jihad?
Aggression  against infidels. Jihad is not listed as one of the
five pillars of Islam, so what is its status?  Jihad is the
highest peak of Islam!

Then, he said, “Shall I not inform you
of the head and pillar of the issue and the apex of



its hump?”
I said, ‘Certainly, O Messenger of Allah (SAW) .” He said, “Its head is
Islam, its



pillar is Salah
and the
apex of its hump is jihad
.” Then he said, “Shall I not tell you
about

the root of that”? I said, “Certainly, O Messenger of Allah (SAW)!” He
held his tongue

and said, “Keep it in check.” I asked, “Shall we be taken to task for
what we speak with

it”? He said, “May your mother weep at you, O Mu’adh! Will people be
cast in hell on

their faces or on their nostrils except as the consequence of their
tongues?”

Having dispensed with the al-taqiyya about Moe being
peaceful, I present to you the PBS documentary, available to everybody,
not just those in St. Louis.
I
watched it on tv several years ago, and found it to be hagiographic due
to the LibTard bias of PBS. 
Some
alternatives follow.

An alternative documentary consists of narration,
apparently from Lings’ Sira, and classical and modern art.  I was
surprised to find  two of Moe’s murders of critics mentioned in
this series.  The producer is a skeptic.

Before I tell you about original sources, I present for inducement of
slumber a long, slow paced narration, apparently from Ishaq’s Sira. I
did not listen to much of this, so I can not tell you whether it is
complete. It is likely to be biased, because it is narrated by a
Sheikh.

Books

Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah
was edited by Hishham to remove material embarrassing to Islam.
Judging by what remains, that was one Hell of a book! Guillaume
translated Hishham’s Rescension as The
Life of Muhammad
.

Tabari’s 40 volume world history runs parallel to
Ishaq and the translators use Ishaq as a reference.  Volumes 6-9
are of interest. Having read Volume 8, I can recommend it without
reservation.

Those books are not inexpensive, and there is a
great deal of dross to slog through to reach the juicy bits.
Fortunately for us, Craig Winn sorted them out  for us. His 1000
page The Prophet of Doom
combines the Qur’an, hadith, Ishaq & Tabari to provide context
& chronology. The most significant quotes from those sources are
included in an appendix Winn melds five Qur’an translations, so
those quotes will not match up directly with the standard works but the

hadith , Ishaq and Tabari quotes are faithfully reproduced.

Ibn Sa’d’s hadith collection is effectively a
sira.  While, like other hadith collections, there is much
redundancy, you will find some interesting material not available in
the other collections, including extensive quotes from Moe’s extortion
letters.

The Sealed Nectar
comes close to being an official biography.  It confirms much of
the material in the other books. If you combine this book or Ibn Sa’d’s
with the six hour lecture series, your curiosity should be well
satisfied.

Attempted Suppression of Free Speech: Pentagon vs Jones


I learned today from a Stand Up America! press release that the Pentagon is setting the stage to blame Pastor Terry Jones for the potential  Islamic reaction to his plan to burn the Koran and images of Muhammad on July 28 if the freedom of Youcef Nadarkhani  is not restored by the Iranian regime which has sentenced Youcef Nadarkhani to death for apostasy.

The Guardian quotes Commander Bill Speaks:

“We are aware of Pastor Terry Jones’ threat to burn a Qur’an, and are monitoring the situation. The last time Pastor Jones burned a Qur’an, back in March of 2011, more than 16 people died and more than 90 people were injured from the resulting protests. We hope Pastor Jones will take into account the safety and welfare of deployed US military personnel before engaging in such an activity again.”

The safety and welfare of our troops in Afghanistan and elsewhere are the responsibility of the Pentagon, not Pastor Jones.  Threats to our troops come from Islam and Muslims, not from Pastor Terry Jones.  The biggest threat to the welfare of the troops is their presence on foreign soil. The second biggest threat is the suicidal rules of engagement imposed by Obamination.

Our servicemen are in harms way and thousands have lost lives and limbs only because they were sent by a traitor who should have sent the descendants of “Little Boy” & “Fat Man” .  There is no excuse for having troops on the ground in Afghanistan.  There is no excuse for the continued existence of  Afghanistan, Iran & Pakistan.

When Dar Ul-Islam invades Dar Ul-harb, the obligation of jihad is fard al kifaya: binding upon all eligible male Muslims until a sufficient number have reported to the front.  When Dar Ul-harb retaliates by invading Dar Ul-Islam, the obligation is fard ayn: binding on all Muslims, including Sheikhs, women, children and slaves.  I refer doubters & dissenters to the following odifications of Shari’ah:  Reliance of the Traveller, Risala & Hedaya.

What part of the relevant Islamic law escapes the comprehension of our top brass?  When we answer an attack by invading, the result is genral mobilization, no holds barred.

How did those who dispatched the Magnificent Nineteen rationalize the accursed abomination?   Khalid Sheikh Mohammed & his co-conspirators respond with argumentum Tu-quoque:

“With regards to these nine accusations that you are putting us on trial for; to us, they are not
accusations. To us they are badges of honor, which we carry with pride. Many thanks to God, for his
kind gesture, and choosing us to perform the act of Jihad for his cause and to defend Islam and Muslims.
Therefore, killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you, responding back to your
attacks, are all considered to be great legitimate duty in our religion. These actions are our offerings to
God. In addition, it is the imposed reality on Muslims in Palestine, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, in the
land of the two holy sites [Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia], and in the rest ofthe world, where
Muslims are suffering from your brutality, terrorism, killing of the innocent, and occupying their lands
and their holy sites. Nevertheless, it would have been the greatest religious duty to fight you over your
infidelity. However, today, we fight you over defending Muslims, their land, their holy sites,and their
religion as a whole.”

I highlighted two sentences in that quote, go back and read them again.  The accursed abomination was an act of worship.  Get a God blessed clue, for Chrissake!   Fighting us because of our infidelity to Allah is their greatest religious duty.

What part of that do the peons in the Pentagon not comprehend?  Do those stars they wear symbolize ignorance of enemy doctrine?   Not being Muslim is a status offense which justifies genocidal attack.

Scroll up to the quote from Tripoli’s Ambassador to Adams & Jefferson; read it again before reading this quote from Sahih Bukhari 4.53.386.

Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:– “Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master.”

It is written in their law: they were ordered to fight us. Can you obtain a clue?

Allah purchased believers with the promise of Paradise: after they are killed in battle they go to his Celestial Bordello with rivers of wine and trees always full of low hanging fruit. Plus eternal virgins and little boys who never bleed.  Can you get a clue?

Muslims are commanded to wage war against pagans until only Allah is worshiped on a global scale.  They are commanded to wage war on “people of the book” until we are subjugated and extorted.  Can you obtain a clue?

Muslims are promised an upgrade in their seats in the Celestial Bordello if they take any step to injure or enrage us.  Can you obtain a clue?   Are the President and Pentagon brass  too stupid to obtain clues or are they traitors?

When Muslims raise Hell, it is not because of anything done by Danish cartoonists, a Dutch parliamentarian or a Florida Pastor. It is because of what the Imam tells them to do at Jumah Salat Friday afternoon.

Terrorism is not a function of “extremists”, “radicals” or groups; it is a function of Islam.  Allah said that he would cast terror. Allah said that he cast terror. Allah said that the killing of one group and enslaving of another resulted from his casting terror.  Allah said thet the Jews were more afraid of Moe and his army than of him.  Can you obtain a clue?

When wasps build a nest on your porch and one of them stings you, smash him and the others will attack because theirs is a communal society. Islam is the same way.  Islam can not be defeated militarily short of total eradication.  It can not be contained.   Nobody else will show you why that is. What I am about to display to you contains the key to victory: we must destroy their faith. We must prove to them that Allah is an impotent idol whose promises of victory are vain.  These quotes are from a Pakistani strategy manual.  It does not get more authentic than this.  Get a clue for Chrissake and share it with your Congressman & Senators.

Brig. S.K. Malik wrote The Qur’anic Concept of War as a training manual for the army of Pakistan.  His analysis will help you to comprehend their strategy. Terror is both a means and an end.  This paragraph comes from the bottom of page 59. [Emphasis added.]

Terror struck into the hearts of the enemies is not only
a means, it is the end in itself. Once a condition of terror into
the opponent’s heart is obtained, hardly anything is left to be
achieved. It is the point where the means and the end meet
and merge. Terror is not a means of imposing decision upon
the enemy; it is me decision we wish to impose upon him.

There is one necessary prerequisite for instilling terror: the destruction of our faith. Islam’s strong faith shields Muslims from being terrorized. This paragraph comes from page 60. [Emphasis added.]

Terror cannot be struck into the hearts of an army by merely
cutting its lines of communication or depriving it of its routes
of withdrawal. It is basically related to the strength or weakness
of the human soul. It can be instilled only if the opponent’s
Faith is destroyed. Psychological dislocation is temporary;
spiritual dislocation is permanent. Psychological dislocation can be
produced by a physical act but this does not hold good of the
spiritual dislocation. To instill terror into the hearts of the enemy,
it is essential. in the ultimate analysis, to dislocate his Faith. An
invincible Faith is immune to terror. A weak Faith offers inroads
to terror. The Faith conferred upon us by the Holy Qur’an has
the inherent strength to ward off terror from us and to enable
us to strike terror into the enemy. Whatever the form or type of
strategy directed against the enemy, it must, in order to be effective,
be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the enemy. A strategy
that fails to attain this condition suffers from inherent drawbacks
and weaknesses; and should be reviewed and modified. This rule
is fully applicable to nuclear as well as conventional wars. It is
equally true of the strategy of nuclear deterrence in fashion
today. To be credible and effective, the strategy of deterrence
must be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the enemy.

 

Believers are Allah’s slaves, who kill others and are killed. Believers are only those who fight in Allah’s  cause, which is to make Islam dominant.  Go to Jihad or go to Hell. Go to jihad and go to Paradise.  Get a God blessed clue for Chrissake!  So long as Muslims believe that Allah will give them victory, that he will damn them if they do not wage war and bless them if they do, Islam will continue to present a real, proximate & continuing threat to our lives, liberty & prosperity.

We are not waging the war of ideas and we need to retaliate with a passion.  That is the only alternative if we are not willing to nuke  Islam off the face of the earth.

The Islamic regime in Iran plans to execute a Pastor for abandoning Islam.  Pastor Jones plans a protest in which he will burn the Koran and images of Moe. Now the brass accuse Jones of inciting attacks against our troops.  The blame must be placed on its origin: Islam, not on those who protest against it.

Why Islamic Law is Intolerable


Spell it Sharia,  spell it Shari’ah or call it Fiqh, it is Islamic law,
based on the Qur’an & hadith which are the primary sources of
Islam.  Islam conflates spiritual & temporal authority and
imposes its law on the entire society.

The fact that Shari’ah imposes corporal punishments
including amputation, decapitation, lashing & lapidation is common
knowledge.  We recognize that such punishments are incompatible
with our Constitutions.  Many people assume that incompatibility
to impose a total exclusion on Shari’ah, but it does not. In the last
three decades, there have been fifty cases and appeals involving Islamic Laws in
American courts
.

Unfortunately, Islam is not an a la carte menu  from which you can select the items you like; it
is all or nothing; a package deal.

2:85.
After this, it is you who kill one another and drive out a party of you
from their homes, assist (their enemies) against them, in sin and
transgression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them,
although their expulsion was forbidden to you. Then
do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest? Then
what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in
the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be
consigned to the most grievous torment.
And Allâh is not unaware
of what you do.

If Muslims reject part of the Qur’an, they will be disgraced in this
world and damned in the next.  Muslims can not reject jihad,
corporal punishment inequality, indignity or the disgusting fiqh of
marriage, divorce & child custody.

widely accepted codification of Shari’ah.  These rulings impact
issues of equality, dignity, justice and ‘family law’.  They come

Islamic laws incompatible with our Constitution.

The following table includes links to the three main
codifications of Islamic law which you can purchase at Amazon in two
cases or read on line in pdf format. Risala is the shortest and easiest
to read but less detailed than the others. Hedaya uses arcane &
archaic vocabulary & type face and is rather dense.  Reliance
set the standard, and is accepted as authentic and accurate by sheikhs
of Al-Azhar University in Cairo.

Traveller

Reliance
of the Traveller: Handbook of Shari’ah

was published to provide information about Islamic law, known as
Shari’ah. It focuses on Reliance of the Traveller, the most widely
known and accepted codification of fiqh.   That post has been
receiving about four hits per day for several months.  I guess
that interest in Shari’ah is being aroused by the controversy over
proposed legislation to exclude foreign law from domestic court
decisions.

A lengthy anonymous comment on the post needs more
attention than the comment format permits.  I am therefore
blogging it here with a post of its own. The comment is reproduced
below, unedited. My point by point response follows below the
horizontal line.

You are far from Jesus’ teachings, and especially his message of love.

You harm your self and spread hatred with your falsehoods.

You could actually benefit from the truth and the beauty of the
teachings you are slandering.

The kufar are not Christians and Jews. They are “people of the book”
meaning people who have received revelations from God, however much
they ignore them or distort them. Kufar are idol worshippers. If you
honestly read the Quran or the Hadith, leaving behind the prejudice and
hatred, you might recognize that the revelations in the Quran, the life
and teachings of Muhammad, s.a.w., and the ways laid out from these in
the shariah, flow from the same Divine sources as the best of the old
and new testaments, and the examples and teachings of Jesus, s.a.w. and
the Prophets, s.a.w..

Indeed, I found the truth of Islam first by studying the words and
actions of Jesus s.a.w., the prophet, the guide, the good shepherd, the
teacher, the lover of all men and women, good and bad, the one who
prayed, who fell down on his face in worship, and in complete
submission to God, who asked forgiveness and help from his Lord and our
Lord, his Father and our Father.

This is Islam. There is nothing more to it. This is the real Shariah as
well, as developed by Muslim lawyers from the Quran and the teachings
and example of Muhammad s.a.w, as well as the example and teachings of
the other prophets in the Quran: Ibrahim, Moses, and Jesus among others.

As for the particulars of your errors, there are too many to mention in
less than a book, but for starters:

Zakat can and was given to dhimma during the time when there were
actual Muslim countries that followed Shariah. It is mandatory, not
just allowed. (If anyone was following Shariah).

Dhimmis (non-Muslim loyal citizens of a Muslim country) were not
required (or allowed) to be in the army under shariah. They also did
not pay the Zakat (state tax) which paid for the defense of the Muslim
state. They paid a substitute tax, which was approximately the same,
and they shared in all of the benefits of the state (today the
Republicans would call them “socialist” because the state assured the
health, welfare and education of all of its citizens.)

The Quran, and Islamic Law
forbid offensive wars,
and allow only
defensive wars. Self-defense is a natural right. From its beginning
Islam and Muslims have been under attack starting with the pagan
Qureish and the Jews of Medina, then the Christian Emperor of Rome and
the Persian fire worshippers. Later it was Crusaders, and now the
Zionists and the Christians who defame and bring war to Muslim lands.

For centuries Jews, Christians, and other faiths were protected. Jews
and Christians sought sanctuary in Muslim countries (Iraq, Syria,
Palestine) from the Inquisition. They were received by Muslim rulers
and lived peacefully for centuries with Muslims until the UN created
Israel displacing Palestinians.

The oldest Christian churches and
Jewish synagogues still operate and
serve in Muslim majority countries. They thrived there while those
countries lived under shariah law. Their ancient churches and
monasteries still operate despite the despotic regimes now prevalent.

No Muslim country has followed shariah in two hundred years. The
imperial powers eliminated it along with Islamic education, politics,
trade, and finance systems. So today Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iraq,
Iran and other “Muslim” countries in their institutions and law ignore
the teaching and example of the prophet Mohammed, s.a.w., the Shariah,
just as you ignore the teaching and example of the prophet Jesus Christ
s.a.w..

My reply will not be published, so it addresses only you.

I pray that God guide you to the truth, and that the example of Jesus
with his love for all, the sinner and the saint, soften your heart and
lead you to see, and I pray respect the truth, and quit propaganda.

Jesus’ teachings

Invoking Jesus to defend Islam and attack
disbelievers is a common tactic to which I attach the label: AssWholliness.
My supposed remoteness from the teachings of Jesus is argumentum
adhominem; an irrelevant logical fallacy. The facts and opinions I
utter & publish stand on their own merit, not on my own lack of
divine perfection.

What is the relevance of Christ’s universal
benevolence to a blog post about a codification of Shari’ah?
None, of course; a Muslim is trying to defend the indefensible by
attacking me with my own savior.  There is one little problem: the
attack has no merit; its malignant malarkey.

Search the Qur’an for “Allah loves”. I tried the
Hilali & Khan translation and found seven surahs containing
matches. At the risk of boring you to tears,. I present the relevant
ayat, with highlighting to bring out important points and links so that
you can check the context. In a few important cases, I include the
context here. .

  • 2:195.
    And spend in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd of all kinds, etc.) and do not throw yourselves into
    destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause of Allâh)
    ,
    and do good. Truly, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn(the good-doers).
  • 2:222. They ask you concerning menstruation. Say:
    that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual
    intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore
    keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they have
    purified (from menses and have taken a bath). And when they have
    purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allâh has ordained for you
    (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina).
    Truly, Allâh loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves
    (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private
    parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.).
  • 3:31. Say (O Muhammad  to mankind): “If you
    (really) love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism,
    follow the Qur’ân and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you
    of your sins
    . And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
  • 3:76. Yes, whoever
    fulfils his pledge
    and fears Allâh much; verily, then Allâh loves those who are
    Al-Muttaqûn
    (the pious – see V.2:2).
  • 3:134. Those who spend [in Allâh’s Cause
    deeds of charity, alms, etc.] in prosperity and in adversity, who
    repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the
    good­doers).
  • 3:146. And many
    a Prophet
    (i.e. many from amongst the Prophets) fought (in Allâh’s Cause) and
    along with him (fought) large bands of religious learned men. But they
    never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allâh’s Way, nor did
    they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allâh loves As-Sâbirin (the
    patient ones, etc.).
  • 3:147. And they said nothing but: “Our Lord!
    Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to
    You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the
    disbelieving folk.

    3:148. So Allâh gave them the reward of this world, and the excellent
    reward of the Hereafter. And Allâh
    loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good­doers
    – see the footnote of V.3:134).

  • 3:156. O you who believe! Be not like those who disbelieve (hypocrites) and
    who say to their brethren when they travel through the earth or go out
    to fight: “If they had stayed
    with us, they would not have died or been killed,
    ” so that Allâh
    may make it a cause of regret in their hearts. It is Allâh that gives
    life and causes death. And Allâh is All­Seer of what you do.

    3:157. And if
    you are killed or die in the Way of Allâh, forgiveness and mercy from
    Allâh
    are far better than all that they amass (of worldly
    wealths, etc.).

    3:158. And whether you die, or
    are killed
    , verily, unto Allâh you shall be gathered.

    3:159. And by the Mercy of Allâh, you dealt with them gently. And had
    you been severe and harsh­hearted, they would have broken away from
    about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allâh’s) Forgiveness
    for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a
    decision, put your trust in Allâh, certainly, Allâh loves those who put their trust
    (in Him).

  • 5:13. So because
    of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them
    , and made
    their hearts grow hard. They change the words from their (right) places
    and have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them.
    And you will not cease to discover deceit in them, except a few of
    them. But forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds). Verily, Allâh loves Al­Muhsinûn
    (good­doers – see V.2:112).
  • 5:42. (They like to) listen to falsehood, to
    devour anything forbidden. So if they come to you (O Muhammad ), either
    judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they
    cannot hurt you in the least.
    And if you judge, judge with
    justice between them. Verily, Allâh
    loves those who act justly.
  • 5:54. O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back
    from his religion
    (Islâm), Allâh will bring a people whom He
    will love
    and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers,
    fighting in the Way of Allâh,
    and never afraid of the blame of
    the blamers. That is the Grace of Allâh which He bestows on whom He
    wills. And Allâh is All­Sufficient for His creatures’ needs,
    All­Knower.
  • 5:93. Those who believe and do righteous good deeds,
    there is no sin on them for what they ate (in the past), if they fear
    Allâh (by keeping away from His forbidden things), and believe and do righteous good deeds, and
    again fear Allâh and believe, and once again fear Allâh and do good
    deeds with Ihsân (perfection). And Allâh loves the good­doers.
  • 9:3. And a declaration from Allâh and His
    Messenger to mankind on the greatest day (the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah – the
    12th month of Islâmic calendar) that Allâh is free from (all)
    obligations to the Mushrikûn (see V.2:105) and so is His Messenger. So
    if you (Mushrikûn) repent, it is better for you, but if you turn away,
    then know that you cannot escape (from the Punishment of) Allâh. And
    give tidings (O Muhammad ) of a
    painful torment to those who disbelieve.

    9:4. Except those of the Mushrikûn with whom you
    have a treaty, and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor
    have supported anyone against you. So fulfill their treaty to them to
    the end of their term. Surely Allâh
    loves Al- Mattaqûn
    (the pious – see V.2:2).

    9:5. Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months
    of the Islâmic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikûn (see
    V.2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and
    prepare for them each and every ambush
    . But if they repent and
    perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, then leave their
    way free. Verily, Allâh is
    Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful
    .

  • 9:7. How can there be a covenant with Allâh and
    with His Messenger for the Mushrikûn (polytheists, idolaters, pagans,
    disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) except those with whom you made a
    covenant near Al-Masjid-al-Harâm (at Makkah)? So long, as they are true
    to you, stand you true to them. Verily, Allâh loves Al-Muttaqûn (the
    pious – see V.2:2).
  • 9:108. Never stand you therein. Verily, the mosque
    whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety is more worthy
    that you stand therein (to pray). In it are men who love to clean and
    to purify themselves. And Allâh
    loves those who make themselves clean and pure
    (i.e. who clean their private parts
    with dust
    [i.e. to be considered as soap) and water from urine
    and stools, after answering the call of nature].
  • 49:9. And if two parties or groups among the
    believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both, but if
    one of them rebels against the other, then fight you (all) against the
    one that which rebels till it complies with the Command of Allâh; then
    if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be
    equitable. Verily! Allâh loves
    those who are equitable
    .
  • 60:8. Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and
    kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and
    did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with
    equity
    .
  • 61:4. Verily, Allâh loves those who fight in His
    Cause in rows (ranks) as if they were a solid structure
    .

Allah loves those who do not throw themselves to
destruction by shirking jihad. How sweet.  Allah will love you if you emulate Moe… a murdering
lecher, pirate & pedophile.  Whoever fulfills his pledge is a
reference to the Pledge of Ar-Ridwan: to fight to the death for
Islam.  Allah loves those who spend in his cause; a reference to
jihad with their lives and their wealth.  Allah forgives those who
get killed in his wars.  Allah loves those who wipe their butts
with sand.  Where is  Allah’s love for mankind in general;
for sinners?  3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.    (King James Bible, John)

Islamic love and charity are for Muslims only. Muslims are commanded to shun their fathers and
brothers if they are not Muslims.

When you invoke Jesus Christ to condemn the facts I
utter and publish,. you have a big problem, because I do not pull my
punches.  Allah denies Christ’s patrimony, deity, crucifixion,
death & resurrection.   Moe’s prophesies depict Jesus as
less worthy than himself and a genocidal warlord who will return to
kill the remaining Jews & Christians.  I refer doubters &

If the truth & beauty of the teachings of Islam
could be crystallized, the crystal would not be sufficient to plug a

Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians & Sabeans are
classed by Allah as disbelievers. Allah commands Muslims to wage war against them
until they are converted or subjugated and extorted.  The command
is confirmed by confirmed by hadith and codified in Shari’ah.

Zakat given to dhimma

The law codified in Reliance explicitly forbids
it.  I will quote it again and provide a direct link to the page.

hS.14 The fourth category is those whose hearts

are to be reconciled. If they
are non-Muslims, they


are not given zakat, but
if Muslims, then they may

be given it (0: so that their certainty may increase,

or if they are recent converts to Islam and are

alienated from their kin).

Those to be reconciled include:

(1) the chief personages of a people (0: with

weak Islamic intentions) whose Islam may be

expected to improve, or whose peers may be

expected to enter Islam;

(2) or the heads of a people who collect zakat

for us from Muslims living near them who refuse

to pay it, or who fight an enemy for us at considerable

expense and trouble to themselves.

hS.24 It is not permissible to give zakat to a
nonMuslim

or to someone whom one is obliged to

support (def: m12.1), such as a wife or family

member.

Dhimmis

Nobody became a Dhimmi without first being conquered
or intimidated by Muslims.  Islam is a protection racket. Dhimmis
paid Moe to protect themselves from him, and in one case the jizya was
one half of their annual crop yield.  I direct the attention of
doubters & dissenters to this hadith which describes Moe’s orders to his
commanders in the field.   ” If
they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree
to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to
pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them..
.”

Quran, and Islamic Law forbid offensive wars

There is no al-Taqiyya more offensive that this
direct deception.  Offensive conquest is commanded, not
forbidden!  The two principle jihad imperatives make no mention of
being defensive or in response to attack. Read them and their tafsirs;
bring forth facts with which to prove me wrong.

  • 8:38. Say to those who
    have disbelieved,
    if they cease (from disbelief) their past will
    be forgiven. But if they
    return
    (thereto), then
    the examples of those (punished) before them have already preceded

    (as a warning).

    8:39. And fight
    them until
    there is no
    more Fitnah
    (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others
    besides Allâh) and the religion
    (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone
    [in
    the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides
    Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

      • (And fight them
        until there is no more Fitnah
        …).” Ibn `Umar said, “We did
        that during the time of the Messenger of Allah, when Islam was weak and
        the man would be tried in religion, either tormented to death or being
        imprisoned. When Islam became stronger and widespread, there was no
        more Fitnah.” When the man realized that Ibn `Umar would not agree to
        what he is saying, he asked him, “What do you say about `Ali and
        `Uthman” Ibn `Umar replied, “What do I say about `Ali and `Uthman! As
        for `Uthman, Allah has forgiven him, but you hate that Allah forgives
        him. As for `Ali, he is the cousin of the Messenger of Allah and his
        son-in-law,” and he pointed with his hand saying, “And this is his
        house over there.” Sa`id bin Jubayr said, “Ibn `Umar came to us and
        was asked, “What do you say
        about fighting during Fitnah” Ibn `Umar said, “Do you know what Fitnah
        refers to Muhammad was fighting against the idolators, and at that
        time, attending (or residing with) the idolators was a Fitnah (trial in
        religion). It is nothing like what you are doing, fighting to gain
        leadership!”
        All these narrations were collected by Al-Bukhari,
        may Allah the Exalted grant him His mercy. Ad-Dahhak reported that Ibn
        `Abbas said about the Ayah,
    • O9.9

      The caliph fights all
      other peoples until they become Muslim

      (O: because they are not a people with a Book, nor honored as such, and
      are not permitted to settle with paying the poll tax (jizya) ) (n:
      though according to the Hanafi school, peoples of all other religions,
      even idol worshippers, are permitted to live under the protection of
      the Islamic state if they either become Muslim or agree to pay the poll
      tax, the sole exceptions to
      which are apostates from Islam and idol worshippers who are Arabs,
      neither of whom has any choice but becoming Muslim
      (al-Hidaya
      sharh Bidaya al-mubtadi’ (y21), 6.48-49) ).

  • 9:29. Fight
    against those who
    (1) believe
    not in Allâh
    ,
    (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden
    by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the
    religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among
    the people of the Scripture
    (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with
    willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 
    • The Order to fight People of the Scriptures until They
      give the Jizyah
      • This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the
        People of the Book, after the pagans were defeated, the people entered
        Allah’s religion in large numbers, and the Arabian Peninsula was
        secured under the Muslims’ control. Allah commanded His Messenger to
        fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth
        year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called
        the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination.
    • O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad

      The caliph (o25) makes
      war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians

      (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and
      practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social
      order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4)
      -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money
      itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O:
      and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the
      non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,

      Fight those who do not believe
      in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His
      messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth,
      being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax
      out of hand and are humbled”
      (Koran 9.29),

      the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon
      whom be peace).  After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be
      accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until
      Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the
      divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail
      a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of
      Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him
      peace),

      “I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,”

      this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be
      peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a
      follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ).

Allah said “fight them… until”. Not those who
attack you; them.
The smug, smarmy, self-righteous Muslim, convinced of the superiority
of his demon and himself, while substituting his anus for the brain
Allah has eaten, supposes us to be so stupid, ignorant and indolent
that we can neither discover nor comprehend objective factual
reality.  There is no greater arrogance than that which asserts
that offensive conquest is harram!

Defensive jihad is covered in Surahs Surah Al-Hajj 22:39
and Al-Baqarah 2:190.
In Reliance, O9.0 defines jihad as war against non-Muslims. O9.1
defines the communal obligation. Offensive jihad is fard kifaya, only
defensive jihad is fard ayn.  The minimum requirement is one
ghazwat in every year, without which, if it were possible, all who know
of it are sinners.

  • O9.1: The Obligatory Character of Jihad

    Jihad
    is a communal obligation
    (def: c3.2).  When enough people perform it to
    successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others

    (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and
    give him peace),

    “He who provides the equipment for a
    soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad,”

    and Allah Most High having said:

    “Those of the believers who are unhurt but
    sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah’s path with their
    property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their
    property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to
    each, Allah has promised great good” (Koran 4:95).

    If
    none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all,
    then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if
    there was a possibility of having performed it.
    In the time of
    the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal
    obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent
    times, there are two possible
    states in respect to non-Muslims
    .

    The first is when they are in their own
    countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation
    ,
    and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a
    communal obligation,” meaning
    upon the Muslims each year
    .

    The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim
    country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory

    (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants

Exactly what part of that does Anonymous not
comprehend?  Perhaps Al-Shafi’i can clarify it for him.

“The
least that the imam must do is
that he allow no year to pass without
having organised a military expedition
by himself, or by his
raiding
parties, according to the Muslims’ interest, so that the jihad will
only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse
.”

Combating Intolerance, Negative Stereotyping…


The 3rd Committee action predicts similar action in the General Assembly next month.  This is a continuation of one branch of the OIC’s ten year plan. The objective is to pass and enforce international and national legislation to criminalize, prohibit and punish all criticism and questioning of Islam.

Two relevant resolutions were recently approved by acclamation in the 3rd Cmte.  and are expected to be approved by the General Assembly in December ’11.  I present titles, links, and a few pertinent paragraphs for your examination..

      What does that mean?  The expression is so broad and ambiguous as to be stretched over anything we say or write. See the Ban Ki-moon quote about Fitna.

That boilerplate expression from previous resolutions should trigger alarm bells.  Who perpetrated the accursed abomination?  Were they Buddhists?  Were they Jews?  Were they Baptists?  No, they were Muslims!

Why  is Islam associated with Terrorism?  Maillot, New York, Madrid, London, Beslan & Mumbai: Get a  clue!!!  “Allahu akbar!” They shouted the takbir when they mounted their attacks.  Why?

Mohammad Atta, in his final message to the Magnificent 19, directed them to shout the Takbir while slaughtering because it terrifies disbelievers.

Why waste time patting down Granny when all recent terror plots have been hatched or perpetrated by young Muslim males?  When you hear hoof beats, do you look for horses or unicorns?

They want to make it illegal to utter and publish any negative information about Islam.  They want to block our security personnel from scrutinizing those most likely to perpetrate terror attacks.  In fine, they are trying to disarm and disable us so that we can not mount an effective defense against their jihad.

Go to http://www.congress.org/ , create a free account, enter your Zip Code and tell your Representative & Senators to require the State Department to demand a vote on these resolutions and vote NO! in the General Assembly.  And share this information with everyone who will read or listen.

These resolutions have no legal force, but they have the effect of legitimizing national blasphemy laws which are used to persecute indigenous religious minorities in lands conquered and dominated by Muslims.   These resolutions are a stepping stone to their tactical objective: amending ICERD to make all questioning and criticism an offense punishable by law.

White House Shari’ah Rally: What Do They Want?


I learned from a Daily Mail article that three infamous British Muslims have been asked to address a pro Shari’ah rally at the White House March 3, 2011. The event is sponsored by the International Institute of Islamic Thought.   If we had rational and patriotic leaders in power, Anjem Choudary, Abu Izzadeen and Sayful Islam would be denied visas.

The theme of the rally is supposed to be exhortation to rise up and impose Shari’ah on America. Literally the “path to life giving waters”, Shari’ah is a codification of the laws laid down in the Qur’an & hadith.

The Sunnis comprise the majority of Muslims and the Shafi’ite school of jurisprudence is the most widely accepted of the Sunni schools. Its handbook of fiqh is Reliance of the Traveller and Guide to the Faithful.

I have included images from a pdf file scanned from Reliance of the Traveller. Click them to view full sized images. Lest you doubt the authenticity of the text, I included two certifications of authenticity, from al-Azhar & IIIT.

Reliance is divided into topical books. Book o treats of “Justice”; chapter 9 treats the law of jihad, beginning with a definition:

09.0 JIHAD
(0: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims,
and is etymologically derived from the word
mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the
religion.[…]

The text cites several verses of the Qur’an and hadith to back that up.  o9.1 discusses the communal obligation of waging war against infidels, which is “meaning upon the Muslims each year”  Islamic law requires a minimum of one military expedition against infidels in every year.

O9.8 reveals the practical application of that communal obligation.

o9.8 Thc caliph (025) makes war upon Jews,
Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has
first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice,
and if they will not, then invited them to
enter the social order of Islam by paying the nonMuslim
poll tax (jizya, def: 01 L4)-which is the
significance of their paying it, not the money
itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions)

become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll

The text continues with the scriptural basis of the ruling, which is 9:29.  Note the similarity of expression used by J.M. Rodwell.

Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given as believe not in God, or in the last day, and who forbid not that which God and His Apostle have forbidden, and who profess not the profession of the truth, until they pay tribute out of hand, and they be humbled.

O9.9 follows up with warfare against pagans.

09.9 The caliph fights all other peoples until
they become Muslim (0: because they are not a
people with a Book, nor honored as such, and are
not permited to settle with paying the poll tax…

Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf and other advocates of Shari’ah won’t tell you about those provisions, why not?

There are important considerations other than violence. The concept of equality is one of them.  Consider what chapter 24 says about testimony.

024.2 Legal testimony is only acceptable from a
witness who:
(a) is free;
(b) is fully legally responsible (mukallaf, def:
c8.1) (0: as testimony is not accepted from a child
or insane person, even when the child’s testimony
regards injuries among ehildren that oeeurred at
play);
(e) is able to speak;
(d) is mentally awake;
(e) is religious (0: meaning upright (024.4)
(A: and Muslim), for Allah Most High says,
“Let those of rectitude among you testify”
(Koran 65:2),
and unbelief is the vilest form of corruption, as
goes without saying);

If you ain’t Muslim, you can’t be a witness!  Let that sink in for a moment. Read it again.  What do you think about Shari’ah now?  The testimony of a man is worth that of two women.

024.7 The testimony of the following is legally
acceptable when it concerns cases involving property,
or transactions dealing with property, such
as sales:
(1) two men;
(2) two women and a man;
(3) or a male witness together with the oath
of the plaintiff.

Why is the feminist movement silent about this?

In England and some American states, there is pressure for application of Shari’ah to domestic matters; family disputes.  The laws concerning marriage are laid out in book m.  I will raise one quote from that book, containing a concept which will cause any rational and compassionate person to reject Shari’ah.

GUARDIANS WHO MAY MARRY A VIRGIN
TO A MAN WITHOUT HER CONSENT
m3.13 Guardians are of two types, those who
may compel their female charges to marry someone,
and those who may not.
(1) The only guardians who may compel
their charge to marry are a virgin bride’s father or
father’s father, compel meaning to marry her to a
suitable match (def: m4) without her consent.
(2) Those who may not compel her are not
entitled to marry her to someone unless she
accepts and gives her permission.
Whenever the bride is a virgin, the father or
father’s father may marry her to someone without
her permission, though it is recommended to ask
her permission if she has reached puberty. A virgin’s
silence is considered as permission.
As for the nonvirgin of sound mind, no one
may marry her to another after she has reached
puberty without her express permission, no matter
whether the guardian is the father, father’s
father, or someone else.

Let that sink in for a moment.  Read it again. Do you want Shari’ah to be applied here?  Why/why not??

Divorce is one of the more important family law matters. Under Shari’ah, a husband need only declare divorce three times to give it legal effect.

n1.3 The person conducting the divorce may
effect it himself or commission another (def:
k17.5-6) to do so, even if the person commissioned
is a woman.
The person commissioned may effect the
divorce at any time (0: provided the one who
commissions him does not cancel the commission
before the divorce takes place (dis: k17.16»,
though when a husband tells his wife. “Divorce
yourself,” then if she immediately says, “I divorce
myself,” she is divorced, but if she delays, she is
not divorced unless the husband has said, “Divorce
yourself whenever you wish.”

n2.1 A free man has three pronouncements of
divorce (0: because of the word of Allah Most
High,
“Divorce is two times, then retain with kindness
or graciously release” (Koran 2:229),
and when the Prophet (Allah bless him and give
him peace) was asked about the third time, he
said,
“It is Allah’s having said, ‘or graciously
release’ “).

Reliance is not the only handbook of Islamic law, though it is the most popular. Others are generally less detailed in some matters. Al-Hedaya is not as easy to read but it explains the differences between Shafi’ite and Hanifi fiqh.

For the Maliki fiqh on jihad, turn to chapter 30 of Risala, which offers less detail than Reliance.  The Hanifi fiqh of jihad is in  al-Hedaya, Vol. II, Book IX, Chapter 1.

The fiqh of wudu & prayer tends to be arcane, nonsensical and harmless to us. But the Islamic law regarding war is totally unacceptable, as is the inequality of women and religious minorities.  The concepts of arbitrary divorce & forced marriage are so repugnant as to compel vigorous objection to imposition of Shari’ah.

Let us therefore rise up as one with a loud voice shouting HELL NO!!! to those who demand imposition of Islamic law.  Let us support the state legislation designed to ban it and make demands for national legislation to prevent the imposition of Shari’ah in the federal courts.
