Jihad Debate: Is it Imperialism or Self-Improvement?


Davi Barker, writing at Patheos, concentrates on attempting to discredit Pamela Geller
with adhominem attacks while projecting that tactic onto her.

Preferring to debate the issue rather than
personalities and process, I left the following comment, which was not
published.  Since I am writing on my own blog and a few friendly
blogs where I can use html and won’t be censored, I am adding
hyperlinks to my sources so that readers can verify the quotes and
examine their context.

Adhominem attack is against the debater
not her facts: you labeled Geller “bigot”.

You denounce ‘violent extremists’; do you denounce Muhammad bin
Abdullah,
who dictated & dispatched extortion letters1 demanding Jizya, then
followed up with his army, slaughtering, dispossessing and enslaving2
those who refused to submit ?  Muhammad said that he was “raised
for jihad and not for tillage”3, “sent with a sword to see that
none but
Allah is worshiped4”
and “commanded to fight”5 with men.  He
also said that he was “made victorious with terror”6
but you can not
denounce him as a terrorist.

Who is better qualified to define Jihad: you or two who translated the
Qur’an?  “Al-Jihâd
(holy fighting) in Allâh’s Cause” [Hilali/Khan
2:190]7.
Who is better qualified to define Jihad: you or the
Shafi’i school of Islamic law?

” Jihad
means to war against non-Muslims,

and is etymologically derived from the word

mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the

Who said this: “(This is also a part of the war booty you earned.
Verily, I have no share in it, except my own share, the fifth
designated to me. Even that fifth will be given to you (indicating the
Prophet’s generosity). Therefore, surrender even the needle and the
thread, and whatever is bigger or smaller than that (from the war
spoils). Do not cheat with any of it, for stealing from the war booty
before its distribution is Fire and a shame on its people in this life
and the Hereafter. Perform
Jihad against the people in Allah’s cause,
whether they are near or far, and do not fear the blame of the
blamers,
as long as you are in Allah’s cause. Establish Allah’s rules while in
your area and while traveling. Perform Jihad in Allah’s cause, for
Jihad
is a tremendous door leading to Paradise. Through it, Allah
saves
(one) from sadness and grief.)” 9 ?

Who said this: “(The greatest of all things is Islam, its pillars are
the prayers and its
pinnacle is Jihad for the sake of
Allah.)”10?
Who knows better what Jihad is, you or the
founder of Islam?

If Jihad means Jihad an Nafs: struggle against ego
& temptation, why are the various books of Jihad in hadith
collections predominantly about raids & conquests?

Combatting intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization


The 2013 edition of “Combating Defamation of Islam” is entitled:  “Combatting intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization“. The new resolution
incorporates the boilerplate of previous resolutions reaching back to
the Durban Declaration and Plan of Action by reference. Those wishing

This resolution contains one boilerplate paragraph
which warrants detailed deliaring; I intend to concentrate on that
paragraph. [Emphasis added.] [For a point by point dissection of the other malignant malarkey in the resulution, refer to this post which dissected last year’s resolution.]

Reaffirming that terrorism in all its forms
and manifestations cannot
and should not be associated with any religion, nationality,
civilization or ethnic group, (UNGA resolution 67/178, pp7)

    Death &
Damnation!!!Terrorism is an
intrinsic sacrament of Islam!! Who in
Hell associated terrorism with Islam???

 

Allah!

How did Allah associate Islam & terrorism?
Directly & explicitly in the Qur’an! [Translated by Hilali &
Khan unless otherwise noted,]

  • 3:151. We shall cast terror into the hearts
    of those who disbelieve    , because they joined others in worship
    with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the
    Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and
    wrong­doers).
  • 3:152. And Allâh did indeed fulfil His Promise
    to you when you were killing them     (your enemy) with His
    Permission; until (the moment) you lost your courage and fell to
    disputing about the order, and disobeyed after He showed you (of the
    booty) which you love. Among you are some that desire this world and
    some that desire the Hereafter. Then He made you flee from them (your
    enemy), that He might test you. But surely, He forgave you, and Allâh
    is Most Gracious to the believers.

    • Allah next conveys the good news that He
      will put fear of the Muslims, and feelings of subordination to the
      Muslims in the hearts of their disbelieving enemies      , because of

    and their houses, and their riches, and a land which you had not
    trodden (before). And Allâh is Able to do all things.

  • 59:2. He it is Who drove out the disbelievers
    among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banî
    An-Nadîr) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think
    that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would
    defend them from Allâh! But Allâh’s (Torment) reached them from a place
    whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror
    into their hearts    , so that they destroyed their own dwellings
    with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take
    admonition, O you with eyes (to see).

  • 59:13. Verily, you
    (believers in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) are more awful as a
    fear in their (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh    . That
    is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power
    of Allâh).

  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331:Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:

    The Prophet said, “I have been given five things which were not given
    to any one else before me.

    1. Allah
    made me victorious by awe    , (by His frightening my enemies) for a
    distance of one month’s journey.

    2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for
    praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my
    followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.

    3. The booty
    has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone
    else before me.

    4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of
    Resurrection).

    5. Every Prophet used to be sent to
    his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind.

  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:Narrated Abu Huraira:

    Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the
    shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror
    (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while
    I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to
    me and put in my hand.    ” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has
    left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures
    (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

Casting Terror

Allah, in his Qur’an, said that he would and did
cast terror into the hearts of disbelievers. Moe said that Allah made
him victorious through terror.  How did Allah cast terror?
Lets look a little deeper below the surface.

On page 326 of The Life of Muhammad, Ishaq summarizes
NQ8:57 & 60 thusly:

‘If you come upon them in war, deal
with them so forcibly as to
terrifythose who follow them, haply they may take warning,’ i.e.. make a severe

warning of them to those that come after, that haply they may
understand.

‘And prepare what you can against them, and cavalry by which

you may strike tenor
,”to the enemy of God and your enemy, as far as HIS

words. ‘And whatever you spend in the way of God will hc repaid to you:

you will not be wronged; 1.e. you will not lose your reward which God in

the next life and a rapid recompense in this world.

Allah told Moe to threaten his victims with the strongest possible army
and rough them up enough to terrify prospective victims.

Readers who are aware of current events will recall incidents of
Muslims taunting Jews with cries of  “Khaybar”, one of Moe’s
brutal genocidal conquests,. The practical application of 8:57 is
exemplified by Khaybar’s effect on Fadak, which is revealed on page 523 of The Life of Muhammad.

When the apostle had finished with
Khaybar. God struck terror to
the

hearts of the men of Fadak
when they heard what the had done tothe men of Khaybar . They sent to him an offer of peace on condition
that

they should keep half of their produce. Their messengers came to him in

Khaybar or an the road or after he came to Medina, and he accepted fheir

terms.Thus Fadak became his private property.because it had not been

attacked by horse or camel.’

Kab Ashraf was the chief of a Jewish settlement and
a poet who had mocked Moe, who commissioned his assassination.
The story of the assassination and its effect are told on page 368 of The Life of Muhammad.

Our attack upon
God’s enemy cast terror among the Jews, and there was no Jcw in
Medina who did not fear far his rife.”

Asma bint Marwan was a poet  who mocked Moe and
complained bitterly of his murders upon which he had her killed. The
story is told on page 676 of The Life of Muhammad. Her murder, like
that of Ashraf, had the intended effect:

The day after Bmt Marwan was klled the
men of B. Khatma.  became Muslims
bcuuse they saw the power of Idam.

Assassination & genocide were not the only
methods of casting terror; Moe’s companions also destroyed date trees
with the same objective in mind.  Turn to the commentary of
Muhammad Shafi in the Mariful Qur’an for the details:  page 374 of Volume 8. .

The reference in the verse is to the
cutting, by the orders of the Holy Prophet , of thepalm trees of Banii Nadir who had shut themselves in their fortresses in

defiance of the Holy Prophet’s orders to surrender. So, some of the
blessed

Companions, in
order to anger them or cast terror into their hearts, cut

and burned down some of their date trees.

The OIC and their dhimmis demand that UN member
states criminalize revelation of the fact that terrorism is an
intrinsic sacrament of Islam. Allah said that he would cast terror and
subsequently described the effects of casting terror: genocide,
enslavement, dispossession & dispersion.  Moe bragged about
being made victorious with terror but we should be fined, imprisoned or
executed for telling you about their demonic ideology and deeds.

When we declare that Allah is Satan, we are not
stereotyping Muslims; we are stating the obvious: the deity they
worship is demonic.  When we declare that Moe was a barbaric,
genocidal, profiteer, murderer, lecher & child molester, we are
stating the obvious, not stereotyping Muslims.  Every Muslim who
does not want to be known as a demon worshiper and terrorist emulator
need only apostatize, disassociating themselves from the demon and his
profiteer.

Freemen who wish to remain free and live in peace
and security need to rise up as one disrespectfully demanding that
effective action be taken to remove Islam from the face of the
earth.  I exhort citizens of the USA to sign this on line petition
which will email itself to your Representative & Senators.

The annual UN resolutions passed by the HRC & GA
have no legal force but international human rights covenants such as
ICERD can be enforced against signatory member states. An ad hoc
committee of the HRC meets for ten days twice each year to craft a
binding protocol to inject the resolutions into ICERD so that they can
be enforced.  Few people know about this parallel track and
nobody
is doing anything to derail it.

A good offense is the best defense, so we must
disrespectfully demand that Islam be outlawed for its egregious
violations of ICERD, ICCPR & CPPCG.

Islam Threatens Peace


 

My Google Alert for HRC Res 16/18 was triggered by Samar Fatany’s
article entitled:  Ignorance and
mistrust threaten global stability.
If you want to read the entire article, follow that link to Al-Arabia,
because I am posting the most crucial points with clauses taken out of
context for criticism.

Terrorism = Islam

The Muslim
nation remains greatly concerned at the dangerous tendency to
associate Islam with terrorism,

The association was not created by the media or
extremists; it was created by Allah and Moe.  Obtain a clue for
Chrissake!

Allah said:

we shall cast terror

Moe said:

Allah made me victorious with terror

How did Allah cast terror?

Maulana
Mufti Muhammad Shafi, commenting on 59:2, in the Mariful Qur’an, says
that Moe’s companions were the agency of terror, by cutting and burning
date trees.

  • So, some of
    the
    blessed Companions    , in
    order to anger
    them or cast terror into their hearts,
    cut     and burned down
    some of their
    date trees    .

He also cast terror by murder and genocide.  Guillaume’s
translation of Hishham’s Rescension of
Sirat Rasul Alah [The
Life of Muhammad] provides more details of a disturbing
nature.  You really should go to Amazon and purchase a copy to
read.  8:57
& 60
get clarified on page 326.

Moe, sensitive to the fact that he was a false
prophet acting out of mercenary motives, routinely had critics murdered
Ka’b Ibn ai-Ashraf was one of them; the story of his murder is in Sahih Muslim 19.4436. The Sira adds a clarifying
detail which tells us more about by what mechanism Allah cast
terror.  This brilliant little gem is found on page 368.

Our
attack upon God’s enemy cast terror among the Jews, and there
was no Jew in Medina

who did not fear for his life.

The assassination of Ka’b Ibn ai-Ashraf terrorized the Jews of Medina
so they all feared impending murder.   Asma bint Marwan was
enraged by Ka’b’s murder and recited critical poetry for which Moe had
her assassinated too.  The following gem of revelation is found on
page 676.

The day after Bint Marwan was killed
the men of B.

Khatma became Muslims because
they saw the power of Islam.

A tribe, terrified by her assassination, converted to Islam rather than
defend themselves.  The raid on the Khaibar Oasis had a similar
effect, illustrative of 8:57 which confirms how Allah cast
terror.  This gem of revelation is found on page 523.

When the apostle had finished with Khaybar, God struck
terror to the

hearts of the men of Fadak
when they heard what the
apostle had done to

the men of Khaybar. They
sent to him an offer of peace on condition that

Khaybar or on the road or after he came to Medina, and he accepted their

attacked by horse or camel.

Further elaboration & confirmation is found in
the story of the conquest of B. Qurayza on page 461.

The apostle passed by a number of his
companions in al-Saurayn before

he got to B. Qurayza and asked if anyone had passed them. They replied

that Dihya b. Khalifa al-Kalbi had passed upon a white mule with a
saddle

covered with a piece of brocade. He said, ‘That was Gabriel who has been

sent to B. Qurayza to shake
their castles and strike terror to their hearts.’

Yeah, right, they saw an angel riding a mule.
But there is more and more realistic on the same page.

The apostle besieged the B. Qurayza for
twenty-five nights until they were sore

pressed and God cast terror
into their hearts.

Then Moe enslaved the women and children, slaughtering the men and
adolescent boys as a terrifying example for other intended victims. Its
in 33:26-27 and on page 468.

‘And he cast terror into their

hearts; some you slew and some you captured,’ i.e. he killed the men and

captured the women and children.
‘And caused you to inherit their land

and their dwellings, and their property, and a land you had not trod,’
i.e.

Khaybar. ‘For Allah can do all things.’

Who is calling?

Muslim leaders are
called upon to stand united against all forms of extremism, deviant
ideologies and terrorism that have no place in Islam.

What is extremism?

The works of the founder of Islam were normative,
not extreme. He butchered 900 men and boys of the B. Qurayza who had
surrendered after a long siege. Read The
Life of Muhammad , The Sealed Nectar  or Sahih Bukhari,
Books 52, 53 & 59  to see what Moe did, which is normative: sunnah for all Muslims to emulate, in all times,
at all places.

No place in Islam!

Allah sanctified terrorism: said he would cast
terror, said he cast terror resulting in genocide, enslavement and
dispossession, promised a great reward for terrorist acts, which
he imputes to terrorists as righteous good deeds,  and made Moe
victorious with terror yet you assert that terrorism has no place in
Islam.  The truth has no place between your fingers and your
keyboard.

Tolerance

tolerant teachings and
values of Islam.

 

Leaders denounce terrorism.

Muslim leaders
today unanimously condemn all forms of terrorism and reject any
justification of terrorist acts. They denounce all forms of support for
terrorist activities and consider terrorism a global
phenomenon not associated with any religion, race, color or
country.

Name one! Exactly which Muslim leader condemned all forms of terrorism, including
that sanctified and commanded by Allah and exemplified by Moe?
Exactly which Muslim leader denounced giving zakat to HAMAS & the
PLO?  When was the last  fund
raiser in Saudi Arabia  for those who attack Israel?

Islamic values

Muslim
scholars stress the need to inculcate true Islamic values in the
educational curricula and to instill the values of tolerance and
pluralism, to build Muslim solidarity.

Islam puts all its stock in the hope of gaining
admission to Allah’s celestial bordello, not in this
world.  Believers sold their souls to Satan and fight in his cause,
killing others and being killed as their price of admission.
Moe’s price of admission was making
great slaughter. This world is described as ”

play and amusement in 6:32.  Moe said that he would like nothing
better than to be martyred, resurrected and martyred again, that is
the highest Islamic value.

Education

As recently as 2011 Saudi school texts used
throughout the Muslim world still inculcated hatred of Jews and
glorified Jihad.

Predation

On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, let us pray for world peace and
an end to conflicts and wars.
Let us pray for the success of all noble initiatives of Muslim
organizations. May Allah guide them to coordinate their efforts and use
all possible means to support interfaith dialogue initiatives to
achieve tolerance,
harmony and global coexistence.

Your Profit did not pray for peace, he prayed for victory.  On page 289 of The Life of Muhammad,
we find a graphic example.

They said that when the apostle heard
about Abu Sufyan

coming from Syria, he summoned the Muslims and said, ‘This is the

Quraysh caravan containing their property. Go out to attack it, perhaps

God will give it as a prey.’

On page 512, we find another graphic example of Islamic
predation.

‘Abdullah b. Abu Bakr told me that one
of Aslam told him that B. Sahm

of Aslam came to the apostle and complained that they had fought and got

nothing and found nothing with the apostle which he could give them. He

said: ~O God, You
know their condition and that they have no strength,

and that I have
nothing to give them, so conquer for
them the wealthiest

of
the enemy’s forts with the richest food.‘ The
following day God conquered

the fort of al-Sa’b b. Mu’adh which contained the richest food in
Khaybar.

Obamination: National Day of Prayer


 

Prayer addressed to the deity ought to be religious, not political in
its purpose.  In this case, Obamination has politicized that which
should be spiritual, turning prayer into a campaign pitch.

Prayer
has always been a part of the American story, and today countless
Americans rely on prayer for comfort, direction, and strength, praying
not only for themselves, but for their communities, their country, and
the world.

On
this National Day of Prayer, we give thanks for our democracy
that respects the beliefs
and protects the religious freedom of all people to pray, worship, or
abstain according to the dictates of their conscience. Let us pray for
all the citizens of our great Nation, particularly those who are sick,
mourning, or without hope, and ask God for the sustenance to meet the
challenges we face as a Nation. May we embrace the
responsibility we have to each other, and rely on the better
angels of our nature in service to one another. Let us be humble in our
convictions, and courageous in our virtue. Let us pray for those who
are suffering around the world, and let us be open to
opportunities to ease that suffering.

Let
us also pay tribute to the men and women of our Armed Forces who have
answered our country’s call to serve with honor in the pursuit of
peace. Our grateful Nation is humbled by the sacrifices made to protect
and defend our security and freedom. Let us pray for the continued

If we had  patriotic Presidents instead
of  traitors, the war would be fought to terminate threat &
aggression against America and to prevent their repetition.  The
Second Barbary War was necessary because the lesson taught by the First
Barbary war was not sufficiently instilled & reinforced.  The
pirates regrouped, re-armed and renewed their attacks.
Muslims renewed their attacks in modern times because we have
demonstrated weakness and lack of resolve in Korea, Vietnam &
Somalia.

I searched the Declaration for the three phrases
listed by Obamination, but did not find them there.  The founders
realized & seized for us the right to live free and unmolested,
subject neither to attack nor threat.   Islam has another
idea, clearly expressed by the Dey of Algiers to J.Q. Adams & T.
Jefferson who asked him by what right the Barbary Pirates sacked our
merchantmen.

When caliph Umar sent the Muslim army to Persia
centuries before the Barbary Wars, his General explained his mission to
a Persian General in similar terms.

Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord,
has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya
(i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:–
“Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to
lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us

      sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and
      put in my hand.      ” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the
      world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the
      Prophet did not benefit by them).

      made me victorious by awe      , (by His frightening my enemies) for a
      distance of one month’s journey.  Sahih Bukhari 1.7.331

      Qur’anic Concept of War

      you to comprehend their strategy. Terror is both a means and an

Islam is a Lie, Muslims are Liars and the Press Promulgates the Lies


The Irish Times uttered and published a spew of deception which must not go unanswered.  News media should inform, not deceive.  I will let most of the lies slide to concentrate on one target rich paragraph.

During the life of the Prophet Muhammad, the wars fought were all defensive wars. And he forbade the killing of woman, children, elders and religious leaders during war. Inciting terror in the hearts of civilians is forbidden in Islam. In fact, in the holy Koran, the primary source of Islamic law, a verse states: “Whoever kills an innocent it is as if he has killed the whole of humanity.”

The assertion that Moe only fought defensive battles is an egregious lie, easily disproved.  Turn first to the Noble Qur’an, Surah Al-Anfal.

. And (remember) when Allâh promised you (Muslims) one of the two parties (of the enemy i.e. either the army or the caravan) that it should be yours, you wished that the one not armed (the caravan) should be yours, but Allâh willed to justify the truth by His Words and to cut off the roots of the disbelievers (i.e. in the battle of Badr). [8:7]

Allah promised them a victory, and they were lusting after the rich spoils of a caravan on the trade route.  The Meccan army went out to defend the caravan, not to attack Moe. Moe went out to attack the caravan, and was met by the army.

Until 2001, I was unaware of the extortion letters which Moe dictated and dispatched to neighboring kingdoms and empires.   Because I learned about them in a Paltalk chatroom, you will learn about them through this blog post.  I present to you two brief excerpts from Moe’s letter to the Chiefs of Aqaba. This letter stands out from the mill run because it is extremely explicit. The others leave a little to the imagination.

[…] I do not intend to wage war against you till you receive my written reason for it. It is better for you, either to accept Islam or agree to pay Jiziya and consent to remain obedient to Allah, His prophet and his messengers.[…]  […] If you do not accept these terms and set them aside, I do not need your presents and gifts. In that case, I shall have to wage war (to establish peace and security). Its result would be that the big ones shall be killed in war and the commoners shall be taken prisoners.[…]

Moe expressed his intention to wage war unless tribute was paid.  That is offensive, not defensive warfare.  The two main jihad imperatives begin with commands to fight: 8:39 & 9:29; where is the defensive element in those verses?

  • And fight them until[…]
  • Fight against those who[…]

Surah Al-Baqarah supposedly preaches defensive jihad; 2:190 tells Muslims to fight those who fight them. It does not say those who attack them.  Click the link, read the ayat and scroll down to read the footnote which defines jihad.  Where is the defensive element in that definition?

  • And fight in the Way of Allâh those who fight you[…]

Sahih Muslim 19.4294 contains some clarifying elements.

  • Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah.
  • If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them.

It becomes obvious that “those who fight you” means those who resist.  Islamic law confirms the obvious. The Shafi’ite school sets a minimum of one ghazwat per year.

The Hanifi school says that jihad must be continuous and is undertaken on Islamic initiative.

Isn’t that nice, Moe prohibited his army from killing women and children.  Muslims want us to assume that the proscription is based on morality. It is not; far from it.  The proscription is economic.

  • Some [jurists] are of the opinion that all of them may be killed, on the mere ground that they are unbelievers, but they make an exception for women and children since they constitute property for Muslims. [Imam Ibn Taymiyyah]
  • […](so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives [33:26]
    • […]and the prisoners were their children and women.[…] [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]
    • When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled. [Reliance O9.13]
  • Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. [Sahih] Muslim 19.4294

What do embezzlement and killing children have in common? Children are part of the spoils!

Inciting terror

Forbidden in Islam?  Yeah, right.

  • We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve,[…] [3:151]
  • […] I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.” [8:12]
  • […]Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts[…][33:26]
  • […]I have been made victorious with terror […][Sahih Bukhari 4.52.220]

They love to cite Surah Al-Ma’idah 32 but never cite the ayat which follows it; why is that?

  • The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter. [5:33]
    • `Wage war’ mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]

Ibn Kathir defined wage war against Allah to include disbelief;  If you do not believe in Allah, you are waging war against him, and may be killed by Muslims.  Only Muslims can be innocent.

International Judge the Koran Day: Update


STAND UP AMERICA NOW! claims in a press release that Anjem Choudary has confirmed acceptance of an invitation to serve as defense attorney for the Koran at their International Judge the Koran Day event scheduled for March 20, 2011.

In view of the no show on the third, I don’t expect Choudary to go to Florida to defend the Koran.  In view of his conduct in television and radio interviews, I am sure that he would attack those who question the Koran instead of defending it against their charges.   Anjem Choudary’s  participation should greatly enhance the event’s media presence and coverage.

“The Koran is accused of inciting murder, rape and terrorist activities.  It is under suspicion of the direct or indirect murder of millions of people around the world.”


 Inciting murder? It incites war, with two chapters entirely devoted to it and several more heavily involved, resulting in an estimated 2.7*108 deaths since 622. In citing rape?  Beyond any doubt.  Seven chapters contain this expression: “right hands possess”.  I want you to see how it is used; here is a very clear example.  Muslims are given license to rape captives and slaves.  Sexual exploitation of slaves is not a barrier to admission to Paradise.

23:1. Successful indeed are the believers.

23:2. Those who offer their Salât (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness.

23:3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allâh has forbidden).

23:4. And those who pay the Zakât .

23:5. And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts)
23:6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame;

23:7. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors;

23:8. Those who are faithfully true to their Amanât (all the duties which Allâh has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants;

23:9. And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawât (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours).

23:10. These are indeed the inheritors.

23:11. Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever.

Inciting terrorist activities?  Allah said that he would cast terror and that he cast terror.  He also commanded Muslims to build a mighty army to terrify their enemies.

8:60. Obamination: “endowed by their Creator”

I found this video clip at The Party of Know.
President Barack Hussein Obama was using a teleprompter when
he omitted the crucial phrase “endowed by their Creator” from the
Declaration of Independence.  Since that was not the only
incidence of omission, we can assume that it was deliberate, not
accidental.

In a recent rant on his radio show, Sean
Hannity asked why the President made that omission. The general
assumption would be that he did so in  compliance with the
ACLU/AUSCS party line which denies the Creator any role in government.
By the same token, we might assume that he included the
phrase in a later speech because of political heat stirred up by
Hannity and other commentators.  I will offer a different,
less benign explanation.

Islamic doctrine includes a tactic of
casting terror1 to weaken
its victims,
rendering them incapable of  effectively resisting Islamic
conquest.  The modern implementation of that tactic involves
the destruction of the victim’s faith. The following quote is from a
Pakistani Army training manual by Brig. S.K. Malik: The
Quran’ic Concept of War. [Emphasis added.]

To
instill terror into the hearts of the enemy,  it is essential,
in the ultimate analysis, to dislocate his Faith. An
invincible Faith is immune to terror. A weak
Faith offers inroads to terror. The
Faith conferred upon us by the Holy Quran has the inherent strength to
ward off terror from us and to enable us to strike terror into the
enemy. Whatever the form or type of strategy directed against the
enemy, it must, in order to be effective, be capable of striking terror
into the hearts of the enemy. A strategy that fails to attain this
condition suffers from inherent drawbacks and weaknesses; and should be
reviewed and modified. This rule is fully applicable to nuclear as well
as conventional wars. It is equally true of the strategy of nuclear
deterrence in fashion today. To be credible and effective, the strategy
of deterrence must be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the
enemy.

To succeed in terrorizing us, Islam must
first weaken or destroy our faith in God.  Since the end of
WW2,  Communists have been attempting to erode our faith for
the purpose of easing the triumph of Communism.  In my
opinion, President Obama is attempting to erode our faith to ease the
triumph of Islam.

Mosque: Breeding Ground of Terror


In this video, which I found in a post by Barenaked Islam, Walid Shoebat tells it as it is.


When Muslims wave those signs declaring that “Islam will dominate the world”, where do they get that idea?   The concept comes from the title of a topic in Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir. Ibn Kathir was an expert who learned Islam’s canon from experts. His tafsir is the most widely accepted[Biography at Wikipedia.]

How will that come to pass?  By jihad.  What is jihad?  This is how Islamic law defines it, from Reliance of the Traveller. [Emphasis & links added.]

Chapter O9.0: Jihad

(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad.

“We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad.”

The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as:

-1- “Fighting is prescribed for you” (Koran 2:216);

-2- “Slay them wherever you find them” (Koran 4:89);

-3- “Fight the idolators utterly” (Koran 9:36);

and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

“I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah”;

and the hadith reported by Muslim,

“To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it.”Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty-seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. Why jihad?  Because Allah commands it in Surah al-Anfal 39 & Surah at-Taubah 29. Moe confirmed the commands in Sahih Bukhari 1.8.387.

The jihad imperatives are codified in Reliance, O9.8 & 9.9.

O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad

The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),

the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace).  After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

“I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,”

this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ).

The caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim (O: because they are not a people with a Book, nor honored as such, and are not permitted to settle with paying the poll tax (jizya) ) (n: though according to the Hanafi school, peoples of all other religions, even idol worshippers, are permitted to live under the protection of the Islamic state if they either become Muslim or agree to pay the poll tax, the sole exceptions to which are apostates from Islam and idol worshippers who are Arabs, neither of whom has any choice but becoming Muslim (al-Hidaya sharh Bidaya al-mubtadi’ (y21), 6.48-49) ).
Why would Allah issue such commandments?  Ostensibly to save the world from temporal strive and eternal damnation by bringing them “with chains on their necks until they embrace Islam“; to make Islam “superior” &   dominant.  [9:33, Sahih Bukhari 4.52.65 ].  The real reason is not buried too deep. Nobody else will show you this, but I will because I want you to know the truth.[Emphasis added.]

8:1. They ask you (O Muhammad ) about the spoils of war. Say: “The spoils are for Allâh and the Messenger.” So fear Allâh and adjust all matters of difference among you, and obey Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), if you are believers.
8:41. And know that whatever of war-booty that you may gain, verily one-fifth (1/5th) of it is assigned to Allâh, and to the Messenger, and to the near relatives [of the Messenger (Muhammad )], (and also) the orphans, Al-Masâkin (the poor) and the wayfarer, if you have believed in Allâh and in that which We sent down to Our slave (Muhammad ) on the Day of criterion (between right and wrong), the Day when the two forces met (the battle of Badr) – And Allâh is Able to do all things.
33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.

33:27. And He caused you to inherit their lands, and their houses, and their riches, and a land which you had not trodden (before). And Allâh is Able to do all things.
48:20. Allâh has promised you abundant spoils that you will capture, and He has hastened for you this, and He has restrained the hands of men from you, that it may be a sign for the believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path.
Bukhari Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331:
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:
The Prophet said, “I have been given five things which were not given to any one else before me.
1. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month’s journey.
2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.
3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me.
4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection).
5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind.
Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4327:
The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, This is because Allah saw our weakness and humility and made them lawful for us.
8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
Who gets the spoils?  Allah and his Messenger.  How much loot can an idol eat or spend?  Got that clue yet?   Moe gets the first 20%, off the top, his pick; that includes captive women. Allah promised them abundant spoils which they would capture, and  caused them to “inherit” their victims’ real and personal property, plus their widows and orphans.   Allah gave Moe special dispensation to accrue spoils because he saw Moe’s weakness and humility.

President Bush spoke of a “war of Ideas” but never specified the ideas.  I will.  234 years ago our founders made a crucial declaration of the rights of man.

Islam has some incompatible ideas: Only Allah has the right to be worshiped, Only Allah has the right to rule and Muslims are obligated to enforce Allah’s rights.

In  8:67, quoted above, Allah identifies Moe’s motivation: ransom  money, and his own: great slaughter.  If  our eyes and minds are open, that tells us everything we need to know about Islam  Why did Walid Shoebat say “it can not be tolerated, it can not be allowed?   What will you do about it?  You have knowledge which you lacked before.  Will you share that knowledge with others by sending them a link to this blog post?  Will you demand that Islam be proscribed by law through the  International Qur’an Petition?  If not us, who; if not now, when?

Its Time to Face Reality


Regular readers of these posts know that I am an equal opportunity offender, telling it as I see it without fear or favor.  This time I tear off a few pieces from  Don’t Let ”Allahu Akbar” Become A Pejorative by  Jordan Sekulow. [Original at Huffington Post.]  As usual, I will intersperse my comments among excerpts in block quote format.

Islam continues to linger at a crossroads.  After the tragic events of 9/11, the free world has taken pains to differentiate their War on Terror from notions of a war on Islam.  We have repeatedly called Islamic terrorists “extremists” that only represent a small minority within the Islamic faith.  Considering, however, recent news involving Islamic places of worship — such as the mosque raids and revealed ties between several imams and terrorist cells — the time is ripe for innocent Muslim-Americans to stand up and prevent “Allahu Akbar” from becoming a pejorative.  In particular, peaceful, innocent adherents to the faith should more strongly challenge members of its leadership who openly condone acts of violence.

We did not start this war; Islam started it in 623.  It is a war of Islam against all Kafir. The declaration includes five verses in the Qur’an: 8:39, 8:60, 8:65, 9:29 & 9:123.  Those verses command fighting pagans, building and equipping an army to intimidate potential victims, urging Muslims to fight, fighting “people of the book” and fighting disbelievers, the closest first.  The commands in 8:39 & 9:29 are confirmed by hadith: Sahih Bukhari 1.8.367 and codified in Reliance of the Traveller, Book O 9.8 & 9.9.

Terrorism is not an enemy, it is a tactic, sanctified by 3:151 & 8:12 and exemplified by 33:26 & 59.2.   The founder of Islam was a terrorist, by his own admission: “made victorious with terror” and “Allah made me victorious by awe“ . Moe’s recitation and sunna set the standard of Islam; terrorism is the rule, not the exception. Terrorists are zealous believers, obeying Allah & emulating Moe,  not extremists.

Passive Muslims, who neither approve of, participate in nor support Jihad are hypocrites, not believers. Muslims are explicitly forbidden to question their leaders in the manner suggested.

O8.7

  • -4- to revile Allah or His messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace);
  • -6- to be sarcastic about Allah’s name, His command, His interdiction, His promise, or His threat;
  • -7- to deny any verse of the Koran or anything which by scholarly consensus (def: b7) belongs to it, or to add a verse that does belong to it;
  • -14- to deny the obligatory character of something which by the consensus of Muslims (ijma`, def: B7) is part of Islam, when it is well known as such, like the prayer (salat) or even one rak’a from one of the five obligatory prayers, if there is no excuse (def: u2.4);
  • -16- to revile the religion of Islam;
  • -19- to be sarcastic about any ruling of the Sacred Law;

Allah made the matter explicitly clear.

33:36. It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.

Allah decreed the matter and Moe confirmed it.  Then, he exemplified it with a battle every six weeks for the last nine years of his life. No Muslim has a right to question it.

So where is the condemnation?  Where is the outrage?  Sure, we hear from ordinary Muslims who express their disgust at these attacks, but why do we hear nothing from Islamic leaders?  While the controversial Council on American Islamic Relations condemned Hasan’s actions, we also learned that a frequent speaker at CAIR events, Zaid Shakir, said that, “Islam doesn’t permit us to hijack airplanes filled with civilian people.  If you hijack an airplane filled with the 82nd Airborne, that’s something else.”

An Imam or a King would write himself out of Islam, signing his death warrant by condemning what Allah commanded and Moe exemplified.

There is no better time for Muslims to engage in what Salman Rushdie called a “Muslim Reformation”.  Muslims, especially Muslim-Americans, should unite and collectively take back their religion.  They should demand that their leaders not only condemn acts of terrorism and jihadist violence, but also actively expel radicals from their mosques.  More importantly, if leaders fail to take the appropriate actions, they should be removed.  Covering up true problems within the faith will backfire — just ask Catholic leaders.  Democracy’s War on Islam is exactly the war Islamic terrorists have been hoping to ignite, and we must not let them succeed.

Muslims can not “take back their religion”, they have maintained possession of it; it has not been hijacked nor has it been twisted or perverted.  Muslim leaders can not condemn what Allah commanded them to do and Moe exemplified for them to emulate.

The faith is the problem; it is evil by design. The relationship between Allah and the Muslims is master: slave. Allah purchased the Muslims with admission to Paradise so they fight in his cause, kill and are killed. Don’t take my word for it, read 9:111. Its all about getting the top 20% of the spoils for Moe. Don’t take my word for it, read 8:1 & 8:41.

Islam can not be reformed. Perfection can only be defiled, not improved. Allah’s word says “fight them”. Allah’s word says “cast terror”. Allah’s word can not be changed.

6:115. And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All­Hearer, the All­Knower.

10:64. For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allâh, this is indeed the supreme success

18:27. And recite what has been revealed to you (O Muhammad ) of the Book (the Qur’ân) of your Lord (i.e. recite it, understand and follow its teachings and act on its orders and preach it to men). None can change His Words, and none will you find as a refuge other than Him.

30:30. So set you (O Muhammad ) your face towards the religion of pure Islâmic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allâh Alone) Allâh’s Fitrah (i.e. Allâh’s Islâmic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq­illâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [Tafsir At­Tabarî, Vol 21, Page 41]  [Emphasis added for clarity.]

If that is not iron clad enough to convince you, Moe cursed anyone who would change it; without mercy, you are destined for the fire.

[…]”I will say those people are from me. It will be said, ‘You do not know what changes and new things they did after you.’ Then I will say, ‘Far removed (from mercy), far removed (from mercy), those who changed (the religion) after me! “[…] Sahih Bukhari 9.88.174 [Emphasis added for clarity.]

Combating Defamation of Religions: Anticipation


Update Nov. 10, 2009: A new edition of the resolution has been tabled in the Third Committee. Two new posts will bring the reader up to date. The first of these was written before I found the draft document. It contains extensive links to earlier resolutions and related documents. The second contains considerable detail about the new resolution and links to items in the footnotes found in the draft. It also has links to petitions you can sign and promote and a Sense of Congress resolution opposing the OIC’s current tactics.

 

 

In May of ’09, the OIC issued their 2nd oic observatory report on islamophobia (june 2008 to april 2009). that fifty page pdf file may be our best guide in anticipating the content of the ’09 Defamation of Religions Resolution which is expected to be submitted on or before November 3; voting may begin Nov. 12. As of the time of this writing, no draft resolution has surfaced. In anticipation of the resolution, Open Doors has begun a Free to Believe petition campaign asking UN member states to reject the resolution.

Our first warning flag is found in the first sentence of the report’s forward.

The common values of mankind must be based on a firm commitment to human rights1, as well as on the recognition of the inherent dignity of all human beings2.

  2. Read Sahih Bukhari 1.8.387 to see Islam’s respect for human dignity; our blood and property are not sacred to Muslims and we have no rights until we become Muslims.

The second paragraph of the forward is rich and thick with lies.

Islam is a religion that implies “peace” by its very nomenclature3. It advocates respect for all religious beliefs and embraces the truth of the preceding Abrahamic faiths4. In reaffirming the preceding prophethoods, it does not, under any circumstances and as a matter of belief, permit any attack on the prophets or other religious symbols of Christianity or Judaism5. In this context it must be emphasized and understood that Islam is not a contender of Christianity or Judaism6.

  1. Islam is peace if and only if submission is peace. Submission is peace to the extent that, if you surrender to Islam, it won’t wage war against you.
  2. The Jews earned Allah’s anger and the Christians went astray. 9:30. And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allâh’s Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!
  3. Read The Defamation of Jesus Christ to learn how Islam denies his patrimony, crucifixion, death & resurrection and depicts him as a genocidal warlord.
  4. Allah’s Jihad imperatives, expressed in 9:29 & 9:123 prove the fact that Islam is in a permanent state of war against Jews & Christians.

The third paragraph of the forward is a gold mine of lies, with a little truth mixed in.

Islamophobia signifies the contemporary proliferation of discrimination against Muslims and distortion of Islam and is partly due to the ignorance and lack of understanding of Islam in the West7. It would be an unfortunate error in judgment in believing that Islam is linked to terror8; that it is intolerant of other religious beliefs9, that its values and practices are not democratic10; that it favors repression of freedom of expression and undermining human rights11.

  1. Phobia implies irrational fear & loathing. Is it irrational to loathe an institution which has murdered 270,000,000 people in the last 1386 years? I hate Islam, but I do not distort it; I reveal its evil nature by means of its own canon of scripture, tradition, exegeses & jurisprudence. I am attempting to correct popular ignorance and lack of understanding of Islam.
  2. Islam is linked to terror by Allah’s declaration that he would cast terror, order to mutilate in conjunction with his casting of terror, declaration that he successfully cast terror, and Moe’s declaration that he was made victorious by terror.
  3. Allah said that if anyone sought a religion other than Islam, it would never be accepted. Allah commanded Muslims to fight pagans until only Allah is worshiped. Is that tolerance?
  4. 33:36. It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. How democratic is that?
  5. The issue of Defamation of Religion & Freedom of Opinion and Expression resolutions results from the OIC’s promotion of censorship.If waging war against us does not violate human rights, what does?

In the fourth paragraph, we receive our first hints at the resolution to come.

Islamophobia is a manifestation of racial discrimination12. It constitutes a two stranded form of racism anchored in both the different physical appearance of Muslims as well as the intolerance of their religion and cultural beliefs. It has now spread to the level of mainstream political activity13 and needs to be considered and addressed as one of the most serious threats to the
world’s stability.

  1. Criticism of Islam has been equated to racism since the preliminary document for Durban II. Accusation of racism is a favorite method of stifling debate.
  2. That is an obvious reference to emerging European parties which object to Islamification.

Following a little consolidation, they’ll give us another hint. Muslims are suffering from the Danish Cartoons, Fitna and blog posts that reveal orthodox Islamic doctrines. Muslims are so delicate and temperamental that they require a legal shield to protect them from perceived insult. They are burning homes & churches and killing Christians in Africa & Asia but it is Muslims who need protection from attack. Yeah, right.

The frequency of demonic portrayal and misrepresentation of Islam and Muslims have resulted in a situation where the identity of Muslims,
their self-esteem, human dignity and human rights has suffered tremendously. In short, Muslims need to be afforded protection against the social and psychological damage inflicted by the negative stereotyping and smear campaign which has wrongfully caused discrimination, bigotry, harassment and mental and physical abuse.

It is not extremely clear, we must read between the lines to harvest the next hint from the redundant maundery.

A section of the western media is a major factor in the formation of the collective misrepresentation about Islam and Muslims14. This has been spreading in the impactful areas of information15, education and the fertile grounds for the dissemination of the open hostility and the entrenchment of hatred against it.

In the present globalized world, peaceful and harmonious coexistence among diverse religions and cultures is not an option but the only means to survival16. Spectacular achievements in sphere of information and communication technology that have transformed our world into a single community afford threats as well as opportunities for peaceful coexistence17. They present mankind with tools to incite hatred and intolerance; discrimination; and distortions of religious and cultural beliefs that can spark violence causing loss of innocent lives and damage to property18. On the other hand, they can be utilized to do the reverse if we have the collective will not to allow their use to preach hatred and intolerance of other religions and cultural beliefs19.

  1. The media will continue to be a target, as it was in the Durban II Draft, Paragraphs 17, 66 & 119 and paragraphs 3(e) & 8 of the more recent Freedom of Opinion and Expression resolution passed by the UNHRC. We can expect them to demand self-censorship again. .
  2. “Information” is a code word for the internet. They want to censor blogs and web sites. The reference to education means they want to convert our schools into indoctrination centers to convert our children to Islam.
  3. Translation: “embrace Islam and you will be safe”, a common theme in Moe’s extortion letters.
  4. “Threats” means they want to shut down our blogs and web sites. “Opportunities” means they want to set up propaganda sites to recruit converts by concealing the truth about Islam while extolling its non-existent virtues.
  5. “Spark violence” is a reference to the Danish Cartoons, which did not cause violence. The violence was caused by rabble rousing sermons at Juma Prayers in Mosques.
  6. Clarity at last! The demand for censorship is out in the open.

The conclusions and Recommendations section on page 26 of the pdf reinforces the lies I exposed earlier and the call for Dialogue which they brought out in the Executive Summary, which I did not cover. The Dialogue pitch is boilerplate from past resolutions.

The OIC proposes a frank, sincere and result oriented Dialogue20 geared to curbing Islamophobia through promoting better understanding of different cultures and religions as well as better integration of Muslims in the West21. The OIC has remained firm in its commitment towards bringing about a meaningful Dialogue among civilizations and has been working closely with its international partners including the Alliance of Civilizations towards intercultural understanding and defeating the propagators of hatred and intolerance22.

  1. The Dialogue got its big start with “A Common Word between Us and You“, sent by the Ulema to Pope Benedict XIV. That missive is so full of al-Taqeyya & kitman that I created a new blog, Go Burn With Muhammad to expose it. Moe’s idea of Dialogue was ‘you surrender or we conquer you’. The modern Dialogue is more subtle, but the bottom line is the same.
  2. Many Muslims do not assimilate, they form enclaves and eventually demand the privilege of operating them under Shari’ah.
  3. The OIC is practicing projection. Islam is the propagator of hatred and intolerance. Those who doubt this fact should read the litany of hateful and violent Qur’an verses in the Calcutta Quran Petition.

On page 27, paragraph h gives us another important clue. They are going to push for a protocol to ICERD. The protocol, unlike the resolutions passed by the General Assembly and Human Rights Council, will be binding international law, enforcible by the ICJ. The Ad Hoc Committee on Complementary Standards is currently writing it.

Existing international laws on incitement to religious hatred including the International Convention on All forms of Racial Discrimination, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the Declaration on the Elimination of all Forms of Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Religion and Belief, the Declaration on the Human Rights of Individuals who are not Nationals of the country in which they live, the Declaration on the rights of Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic, Religious and Linguistic Minorities and the relevant UN Resolutions must be implemented.

Violation of the above listed covenants is an issue that can and should backfire on Islam. If they were strictly enforced, the Qur’an, hadith, tafsir & Shari’ah would be banned, proscribed by law. We need to make that happen. To the best of my knowledge, the International Qur’an Petition is the only effort along that line.

It is likely that much of the resolution will be boilerplate from previous editions. The ’08 Defamation of Religions Resolution is a likely model. My analysis of the Nov. 8 ‘ 08 draft will either put you to sleep or rouse you to sign the petition at Open Doors.
