Freedom Ain’t Free & Take Our Country Back

VICTORY Is Not Defeat

Harry Reid’s Pie Hole

Harry Reid, the Dingo from Nevada. The more this character opens his yapper the more convinced I am the DNC hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell to be victorious in ’08, anywhere, save, say, in some “stan”country – certainly not here.

Case in point: WSJ:

“Harry Reid hopes to help unions deprive workers of their right to vote.”

That is the sub-title of the piece.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has decided to hold a vote this Wednesday on perhaps the most unpopular element of the Democratic agenda. The Employee Free Choice Act has already passed the House, but now it faces real hurdles in the Senate because, contrary to the name, it undermines workplace democracy.

Under the so-called card-check bill, a company would no longer have the right to demand a secret-ballot election to certify a union, thus stripping 140 million American workers of the right to decide in private whether to organize.

Republican senators, except possibly Pennsylvania’s Arlen Specter, are uniformly opposed to the idea. “We went to the secret ballot in the early 1800s in this country for a darn good reason: If somebody’s looking over your shoulder, your ballot doesn’t mean much,” Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says, noting fears of intimidation by unions should the bill pass.

But conservatives aren’t the only ones concerned. A February survey of 1,000 likely voters by McLaughlin Associates found that 79% of respondents oppose the bill, with only 14% in favor. Even Democrats opposed the idea, 78% to 16%.

OK.  Who is paying whom off here?  Once again, the MAJORITY of Americans do NOT want this.  Yet,  in Reids’ finite and miniscule intelligence (equating to his infinite ignorance), he plans to move ahead ANYWAY?

I agree with Dennis Miller.  You?

Just in case you are wondering, our pandering Czarina supports this measure and is one of the originating co-sponsors of it.  Again, I ask…who is paying off whom?

The Employee Free Choice Act

I am an original co-sponsor and strong supporter of the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), a measure that would create a fair and level playing field between workers and employers and promote the economic growth of the American middle class. EFCA would create an atmosphere where workers would be able to choose a union free from employer coercion by strengthening penalties for employer coercion when employees are attempting to organize; encouraging mediation and arbitration for first-contract disputes and allowing employees to form unions by signing cards authorizing union representation. I am committed to ensuring that workers are able to organize a union without coercion or intimidation, and also that federal contractors that benefit from taxpayer dollars demonstrate fairness towards their employees. The card check process, which requires majority sign-up, is the most effective way to protect employees’ freedom to choose to form a union.

And then, from the WaPo article originally cited, we have this:

Indeed, many of the congressional supporters of a card-check law sang an entirely different tune a few years ago about the importance of a secret ballot. In 2001, Rep. George Miller of California, the chief House sponsor of the card check bill, joined Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts and 14 other Democratic colleagues in writing Mexican labor authorities that “we feel that the secret ballot is absolutely necessary in order to ensure that workers are not intimidated into voting for a union they might not otherwise choose.” Apparently, a secret ballot is imperative to protect Mexican workers, but on the U.S. side of the border it’s an impediment to Mr. Miller’s domestic political agenda.

What does this smell like to you?

Stupid Is As Stupid Does

Life is like a box of morons…ya never know when you will run into one.

You will have to read the article.  The stupidity of the School Marms is incredulous to say the least.

The blurb below the picture is a condensed version of the entire article.

Myth vs Fact

Myth Fact
Islam: Religion of peace. 2:216  Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.

Only You Can Prevent Terrorism!!!

ABC News informs us that 300 students of the Qur’an have just graduated from Shehade school and are being dispatched to detonate themselves in Europe and America.

What are we going to do about it? Shall we sit quietly and wait for the first bomb to go off on a bus or in a shopping mall?

I say HELL NO!!! I disrespectfully demand that Mecca be officially designated as our default target for immediate nuclear retaliation for any further attack on our soil.

No other deterrent is possible. Mutually assured destruction does not work on those who believe that Shehade status is their ticket to the celestial bordello. Punch their tickets to Hell, fine by me, but its no deterrent. The Kaaba, situated in Mecca’s Grand Mosque, is essentially necessary for one of the fife pillars of Islam. They need it; its the one thing they value. There is no other possible deterrent.

I have signed the Target Mecca petition and emailed it to the President. Only 74 others have had the wisdom to endorse it. Why don’t you add your endorsement to the petition, send it to Shrub, and urge your friends and associates to do the same? The life you save may be your own.

No More Tribute!

Rice: U.S. Lifts Embargo to Back Abbas

Here are some quotes from the News Max article.

  • “I told him the United States would resume full assistance to the Palestinian government and normal government-to-government contacts,” she told reporters at the State Department. “I told the prime minister that we want to work with his government and support his efforts to enforce the rule of law and to ensure a better life for the Palestinian people.”

Government to government contacts?! Fallestinia is not a state. They had their chand to create a state 60 years ago and they discarded it in favor of a genocidal campaign of policide.

Rule of law?! What law? When have the Fallestinians had anything other than misrule? Only when Israel had full control.

Better life for the Fallestinians?! They have no life!!! They sold their lives & property to Allah in exchange for a false hope of perpetual virgins and rivers of wine. The Qur’an is not silent on this matter; here is a small sample.

  • 4:74. Let those (believers) who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter fight in the Cause of Allâh, and whoso fights in the Cause of Allâh, and is killed or gets victory, We shall bestow on him a great reward.
  • 6:32. And the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement. But far better is the house in the Hereafter for those who are AlMuttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2). Will you not then understand?
  • 6:70. And leave alone those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But remind (them) with it (the Qur’ân) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allâh, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him. Such are they who are given up to destruction because of that which they have earned. For them will be a drink of boiling water and a painful torment because they used to disbelieve.
  • 6:130. O you assembly of jinns and mankind! “Did not there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My Verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?” They will say: “We bear witness against ourselves.” It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
  • 7:32. Say (O Muhammad): “Who has forbidden the adoration with clothes given by Allâh, which He has produced for his slaves, and At-Taiyibât [all kinds of Halâl (lawful) things] of food?” Say: “They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) exclusively for them (believers) on the Day of Resurrection (the disbelievers will not share them).” Thus We explain the Ayât (Islâmic laws) in detail for people who have knowledge.
  • 9:38. O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.
  • 13:26. Allâh increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills), and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment.
  • 14:3. Those who prefer the life of this world instead of the Hereafter, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh (i.e.Islâm) and seek crookedness therein – They are far astray.
  • 16:106. Whoever disbelieved in Allâh after his belief, except him who is forced thereto and whose heart is at rest with Faith but such as open their breasts to disbelief, on them is wrath from Allâh, and theirs will be a great torment. 16:107. That is because they loved and preferred the life of this world over that of the Hereafter. And Allâh guides not the people who disbelieve.
  • 18:46. Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world. But the good righteous deeds (five compulsory prayers, deeds of Allâh’s obedience, good and nice talk, remembrance of Allâh with glorification, praises and thanks, etc.), that last, are better with your Lord for rewards and better in respect of hope.
  • “We intend to lift our financial restrictions on the Palestinian government, which has accepted previous agreements with Israel and rejects the path of violence. This will enable the American people and American financial institutions to resume normal economic and commercial ties with the Palestinaian government,” Rice said.

Accepted previous agreements?! Exactly which agreement with Israel did they honor and execute? Is it possible for anything that stupid to live? Rice must be a robot.

Rejects the pat of violence?! “A million martyrs marching to Jerusalem!” When in Hell did Arafat or Abbas reject violence? Islam sanctifies violence, no Muslim can reject it.

There is no Fallestinian state; how can it have a government, how can it have normal relations? How in Hell does one have normal relations with an entity pledged to the extinction of oneself and one’s cheif allie in the region? Fallestine’s relationship to Israel is predator: prey. Get a clue, madam Secretary.

  • “Through its actions, Hamas sought to divide the Palestinan nation, we reject that,” Rice said. “It is the position of the United States that there is one Palestinian people and there should be one Palestinian state.”

HAMAS sought only to eradicate Israel and dominate Allah’s slaves in the region; exactly what FATAH seeks. There is no Fallestinian nation; there is no Fallestinian people, and there must never be a Fallestinian state other than Jordan. The whole damn deal is a fraud and a sham. There is no such place and no such people. There was Israel, populated by Jews, who rebelled against Rome and were renamed as an insult. Muslim Arabs have no right or interest in Israel!!! They are the illegal occupiers.

There must be no recognition of Fallestine. There must be no further concessions to the terrorists. We must recognize the fact that HAMAS and Islam are synonymous terms and that both are terrorism.

Above all, we must not pay tribute!!! Shout HELL NO!!! Disrespectfully demand the termination of tribute by signing the Defund HAMAS petition. Send it to the President and to your Representative and Senators. Send it to all your friends and ask them to follow suit.

Hamas v Fatah

In an article in the WSJ Online in regards to Arafat’s Children, there is the following:

The deeper lesson here is that a society that has spent the last decade celebrating suicide bombing would inevitably become a victim of its own nihilistic impulses. This is . . . the bitter fruit of the decades of dictatorship and terrorism as statecraft that Yasser Arafat instilled among Palestinians.

How appropriate is it that the “religion of peace” are killing their own in the path of power and control?

Take the Pledge!

Richard Viguerie is circulating an email requesting a pledge not to support the Republican Party organs and to support primary opponents for the RINOs.

I did not sign it, because I am not financially able to support candidates. Otherwise, I would have added my endorsement.

I know of no better way to tell ’em where you stand on amnesty. Go for it!!

Galluping To The Polls

Aren’t polls fun? The nuances are astoundingly…well…eclectic. I believed a poll one time. It “caused me” to cast my very first presidential election ever in my life for Jimmah Cahtah. Since that time (almost 2 years into his presidency) I have learned to laugh at polls. Someone I respect that does follow the polls said that they have evolved from those days of yore and are now more scientific.

Whatever.

I’ll stick to my original adage and watch the candidates and their poll-scramblers blow with the wind. The one that blows the least in a category 96 hurricane is the one I will vote for. Someone that changes stances according to how the winds blow is more brain-dead than the idiots that vote for the idiots blowing with the wind.

Whatever happened to personal integrity in this country?

<sigh>

The Gallup Pole:

PRINCETON, NJ — With no incumbent president or vice president running for the 2008 presidential nominations, it is perhaps not surprising that both of the major parties have competitive races, with multiple candidates jockeying for second, if not first, place. Still, the current outlines of voter preferences in the Republican and Democratic nomination battles are remarkably similar.

According to the latest USA Today/Gallup poll of national adults, conducted June 11-14, 2007, each race is characterized by a front-runner attracting about 30% of the potential primary vote nationwide, followed by two candidates garnering about 20% support each in a close contest for second place, and a slew of weaker candidates, each supported by no more than 11%.

Continuing the parallels, the race for second place in both parties features one announced candidate who has earned fairly steady support throughout the year (mostly failing to build momentum) and one unannounced candidate with growing support, just recently pulling into a tie for second.

THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING!

THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING!

THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING!

THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING!

I particularly like the phrase “national adults”. What is a “national adult”? Is that as opposed to an “international adult”? And what would be the difference?

That’s OK. Believe the polls if you like. I just find it “odd” that when the polls are in the favor of the Leftinistra, the polls are God’s gift to the Universe. When the polls are NOT in favor of the Leftinistra, the polls are skewed. What say ye? Feel free. I don’t bite much. Lost some of my teeth in Tajikistan a while back.

Lies from the Left

I would like to thank Snooper for the honor of inviting me to contribute on his wonderful blog.

I am reposting a piece I wrote showing the realities vs the lies the left keep telling their supporters.

We keep hearing a litany of allegations from the left about how we went to war with Iraq only because of WMD’s, but after 9/11/01, the president of the United States of America, with members of both the Republican party AND the Democratic party standing beside him, made a speech where he said:

From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime. Our nation has been put on notice, we’re not immune from attack. We will take defensive measures against terrorism to protect Americans. Today, dozens of federal departments and agencies, as well as state and local governments, have responsibilities affecting homeland security.

Those on the left would like to forget that nations that harbor or support terrorism are part of the war on terror.

They cry out, but Saddam Hussein did not have anything to do with 9/11…. I say, prove it.

There is plenty of proof showing Saddam Hussein and Iraq did indeed “harbor” and “support” terrorism, and further “proof” that he also aided members of al-Qaeda. These are called facts, provable fact, those pesky little things members on the left hate. (Hat Tip to Gateway Pundit for the link)

Those same members on the left, when faced with the actual proof, would rather act like children, put there fingers in their ears and sing la la la la la la la, so as to not have to admit those facts are there. Well they are there and denying it simply makes you look foolish and uneducated.

Have they found WMD’s in Iraq yet? NO. Have they searched more than 10% of the suspected sites yet? NO. Has this administration made mistakes in Iraq? YES. Does that negate the facts that Saddam Hussein was a monster and provided aid, money, medical attention and sponsored terror. NO.

Below I will list excerpts from the page linked to above.

Let’s start with money. At a minimum, we know that Saddam Hussein’s government supported terrorism by paying “bonuses” of up to $25,000 to the families of Palestinian homicide bombers. How do we know this? Tariq Aziz, Hussein’s own deputy prime minister, was stunningly candid about the Baathist government’s underwriting of terrorist killings in Israel.

“President Saddam Hussein has recently told the head of the Palestinian political office, Faroq al-Kaddoumi, his decision to raise the sum granted to each family of the martyrs of the Palestinian uprising to $25,000 instead of $10,000,” Aziz, announced at a Baghdad meeting of Arab politicians and businessmen on March 11, 2002, Reuters reported the next day.

The linked page above also has pictures of those checks to pay for the “terrorism”.

Nations that harbor or support terrorism“. Iraq continually provided safe harbor for terrorists.

Beyond cash and diplomatic help, Saddam Hussein was the Conrad Hilton of the terrorist world. He provided a place for terrorists to kick back, relax, and reflect after killing people for a living.

After escaping Italian police in October 1985 following the Achille Lauro hijacking (thanks to his Iraqi diplomatic passport), Abu Abbas finally ended up in Baghdad in 1994, where he lived comfortably as one of Saddam Hussein’s guests. U.S. soldiers caught Abbas in Iraq in April 2003. This time, he did not get away. He died last March 9, in American custody, reportedly of natural causes.

Abbas’ Baghdad sojourn was not an isolated incident. Saddam Hussein granted avowed international terrorists refuge in Baathist Iraq. Terror mastermind Abu Nidal also enjoyed his hospitality.

Nidal lived comfortably in Iraq between 1999 and August 2002. As the Associated Press reported on August 21, 2002, Nidal’s Beirut office said he entered Iraq “with the full knowledge and preparations of the Iraqi authorities.” 13 Prior to his relocation, he ran the eponymous Abu Nidal Organization — a Palestinian terror network behind attacks in 20 countries, at least 407 confirmed murders, and some 788 other terror-related injuries. Among other savage acts, Nidal’s group used guns and grenades to attack a ticket counter at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci airport on December 27, 1985. Another cell in Austria simultaneously assaulted Vienna’s airport, killing 19 people.

Among the five Americans that Abu Nidal murdered that day was John Buonocore III, a 20-year-old Fairleigh Dickinson College student who had studied in Rome that fall semester. Buonocore was shot in the back while checking in for his flight home. He had hoped to return to Wilmington, Delaware to help his father celebrate his 50th birthday.

We then move on to debunk the lefts outright lies or lack of eduaction with the question:

But is there any evidence that Iraq sheltered those responsible for attacks on America? SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad you asked!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enter Abdul Rahman Yasin, pictured below in a U.S. State Department “Wanted” poster.

This Indiana-born, Iraqi-reared terrorist remains wanted by the FBI for his role in the February 26, 1993 World Trade Center attack. President Bill Clinton’s Justice Department indicted Yasin for mixing the chemicals in the bomb that exploded in the parking garage beneath the Twin Towers, killing six and injuring 1,042 people in New York.Soon after the smoke cleared, Yasin returned to Iraq. Coalition forces have discovered documents that show he enjoyed housing and a monthly government salary.

The site I linked to above also goes on to show further proof, showing how Abu Musab al Zarqawi ran to Iraq and received medical attention, then again we already know, as facts, that Abu Musab al Zarqawi was there…..it is where we killed him.

The site also goes on to point out the training camps where terrorists were trained.

Sabah Khodada, a former Iraqi army captain who once worked at Salman Pak. On October 14, 2001, Khodada granted an interview to PBS television program “Frontline,” stating, “This camp is specialized in exporting terrorism to the whole world.”

He added: “Training includes hijacking and kidnapping of airplanes, trains, public buses, and planting explosives in cities … how to prepare for suicidal operations.”

He continued: “We saw people getting trained to hijack airplanes…They are even trained how to use utensils for food, like forks and knives provided in the plane.”

As they point out, sounds familiar huh?

Finish reading, there is quite a bit I did not touch on here, read it there.

I have no doubt that members of the left will not dare go read, search and find all the links that Saddam held with terror and terrorists, because their ability to deny the truth is based on the fact that they do not SEE it. In their warped view, if they close their eyes and cannot see something, it must not BE THERE. Yeah, thats the ticket!!!!! (I wonder if that will work on the extra couple pounds on my ass.)

But for those that do wish to see the truth, it is out there, facts, figures, documentation and testimony. Read it, learn it, because knowing who our enemies are, might just be what saves us in the end.

To President Bush…. you said you would go after terror and states that sponsor terror, you did. Thank you Mr. President, for keeping your word and for not following in the other politicians footsteps in changing your mind as the polls change.

Raise Cain!

Town Hall is running a private survey. This might be worth signing up if you are not yet a member. It is free, anyhow. Here is the survey’s url:

http://www.therealdemocratstory.com/townhallsurvey/

This question is open ended, you can let them have it.

What is your best idea for defeating the Democrats in 2008?
My answer follows:
1. Select genuine Conservative candidates for all offices.
2. Run on genuine Conservative principles.
3. Point out ‘crat hypocrisy at every opportunity.
I am looking for a new party because the GOP has abandoned Conservatism by nominating and electing conmen instead of statesmen.

If enough of us slap them with the truth, the GOP might wake up, I ain’t holding my breath in anticipation, but this may be our best shot, besides withholding financial support.
