Freedom Ain’t Free & Take Our Country Back

VICTORY Is Not Defeat

Culture of Peace Conference

The draft resolution adopted without a vote after the Culture of Peace Conference called by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz is not yet available on the web except at Eye On the UN as a Microsoft Word document file.

The resolution begins by recalling a long list of previous resolutions, last, but not least, “62/157 of 18 December 2007, on the elimination of all forms of intolerance and of discrimination based on religion or belief”, which demands national & international legislation to outlaw criticism of Islam.

Next they take note of a long list of meetings, including “the World Conference on Dialogue, held in Madrid from 16 to 18 July 2008″.

  • Refer to U.N. Interfaith Dialogue Conference for background information.
  • Refer to the Conference Statement
    • To work on urging governmental and non-governmental organizations to issue a document that stipulates respect for religions and their symbols, the prohibition of their denigration and the repudiation of those who commit such acts.

Then the spew of fecal matter commences with this maggot infested turd.

Recognizing the commitment of all religions to peace,

Allah’s commandments enshrined in the Qur’an, Moe’s extra-Quranic statements & actions and Islamic jurisprudence form an incontrovertible congruent pattern.

Reaffirms the solemn commitment of all States to fulfill their obligations to promote universal respect for, and observance and protection of, all human rights and fundamental freedoms for all in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights1 and other instruments relating to human rights and international law, the universal nature of these rights and freedoms being beyond question;

No Islamic theocracy recognizes any such rights, which run contrary to Allah’s word. Allah says that women are fields to be plowed, captives may be raped with impunity inherit half as much as men, may be beaten and their testimony is weighed as half that of a man. The blood & property of Kuffar are not sacred to Muslims.

Encourages the promotion of dialogue among the media from all cultures and civilizations, emphasizes that everyone has the right to freedom of expression, and reaffirms that the exercise of this right carries with it special duties and responsibilities and may therefore be subject to certain restrictions, but these shall be only such as are provided by law and necessary for respect of the rights or reputations of others, protection of national security or of public order, or of public health or morals;

The Secretary General condemned FITNA, which should alert us to their intentions. They would certainly outlaw this blog post.

Examine the remarks of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at his conference in N.Y.

Terrorism and criminality are the enemies of every religion and every civilization. They would not have appeared except for the absence of the principle of tolerance.

How does the King of Saudi Arabia square that statement with what Allah said & Muhammad did?

Examine the statement of Secy. Genl. Ban Ki-moon.

Concerned about serious instances of intolerance, discrimination, hatred expressions, and harassment of minority religious communities of all faiths, participating states underlined the importance of promoting dialogue, understanding, and tolerance among human beings, as well as respect for all their diverse religions, cultures and beliefs.

If he is so concerned about intolerance, why does he ignore 3:85, which declares absolute intolerance for other religions ?  Why does he ignore 9:29, which declares war on Jews, Christians & Zoroastrians?   If he is concerned about discrimination, why does he ignore Dhimmitude? If he is concerned about expression of hatred, why does he ignore 9:30?
How can any informed, self-respecting person respect Islam?

Examine the idiotic statement of President G.W. Bush.

I know many of the leaders gathered in this assembly have been influenced by faith, as well. We may profess different creeds and worship in different places, but our faith leads us to common values. We believe God calls us to love our neighbors, and to treat one another with compassion and respect. We believe God calls us to honor the dignity of all life, and to speak against cruelty and injustice. We believe God calls us to live in peace — and to oppose all those who use His name to justify violence and murder.

Only one who has never read the Qur’an, or has no concept of truthfulness could spew such malarkey.   Allah calls Muslims to make war upon us, not respect us. A Muslim’s neighbors are other Muslims; nearby Kuffar are to be fought. Cruelty & injustice? What about Hudud?  Who the Hell uses God’s name to justify violence? Allah commands perpetual warfare! Islamic law reflects that fatal fact, as shown above.

Freedom is God’s gift to every man, woman, and child — and that freedom includes the right of all people to worship as they see fit. Sixty years ago, members of the United Nations General Assembly acknowledged this truth when we adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Declaration proclaims that everyone has the right to choose or change religions, and the right to worship in private or in public.

Muslim theocracies do not recognize the UDHR, they have their own Islamic substitute. Islamic law prescribes the death penalty for apostasy.  Obviously, Shrub has not read Book O of Reliance of the Traveller.

One of the best ways to safeguard religious freedom is to aid the rise of democracy. Democratic governments don’t all look alike. Each reflects the history and traditions of its own people. But one way — but one of the defining features of any democracy is that it makes room for people of all backgrounds and all faiths. Democracies allow people with diverse views to discuss their differences and live in harmony.

The expansion of democracy also represents the most promising path to peace. People who are free to express their opinions can challenge the ideologies of hate. They can defend their religious beliefs and speak out against those seeking to twist them to evil ends. They can prevent their children from falling under the sway of extremists by giving them a more hopeful alternative.

It is painfully obvious that Shrub does not comprehend the concept of democracy. Nor does he understand that democracy and Islam are incompatible.   He implies that someone seeks to twist Islam to evil ends. As I pointed out above, Islam is evil by design; mercenary, martial & genocidal. Islam is neither twisted, distorted, perverted nor hijacked; it is Islam, as intended by its founder. He gets credit for speaking up for free expression, but that’s the limit.

Statements by other dignitaries are described in this UN Document.  The Edmonton Sun has this to say about the remarks of Pakistan’s President.

Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari called terrorism, discrimination, and violence against women “un-Islamic.”

He urged world leaders to support the moderate Islamic principles advocated by his assassinated wife, Benazir Bhutto — dialogue, tolerance and opposition to extremism.

He urged all countries to unite behind an international agenda in which “hate speech aimed at inciting people against any religion must be unacceptable (and) injustice and discrimination on the mere basis of one’s faith must be discouraged.

Remember that Pakistan is one of the authors of the draft resolution. Notice that his flat out lie about Islam: terrorism is sanctified and wife beating is permitted by Allah. Discrimination is enshrined in Islamic law.  The bottom line: Zardari wants to outlaw the act of pointing out those fatal facts!
