Ahmadiyya: Peaceful Islam; Fact or Fiction?

The main object of this Movement is to present the true, original message of Islam to the whole world — Islam as it is found in the Holy Quran and the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), obscured today by grave misconceptions and wrong popular notions.

Islam seeks to attract the hearts and minds of people towards the truth, by means of reasoning, good moral example, and the natural beauty of its principles. It neither aspires to gain political power, nor allows the use of force in support of the faith.

How will we know Islam as found in the Qur’an without reading it? How will we know the Profit’s life without reading his Sira & Sunnah? The quotation contains one egregious lie which I am compelled to expose to the world.

  • It neither aspires to gain political power, nor allows the use of force in support of the faith.
    • Islam does not aspire to temporal power.
    • Islam does not allow the use of force in support of the faith.

Islam aspires to gain political power: total world domination. I do not ask you to take my word for this fact, I have sufficient evidence to prove it. I quote from The Noble Qur’an, translated by Hilali & Khan. I link to ten parallel translations at http://www.quranbrowser.com. Tafsir references are to Ibn Kathir.

  • 13:41. See they not that We gradually reduce the land (of disbelievers, by giving it to the believers, in war victories) from its outlying borders. And Allâh judges, there is none to put back His Judgment and He is Swift at reckoning.
  • 21:44. Nay, We gave the luxuries of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them. See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will overcome.
  • 24:55. Allâh has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).
    • This is a promise from Allah to His Messenger that He would cause his Ummah to become successors on earth, i.e., they would become the leaders and rulers of mankind, through whom He would reform the world and to whom people would submit, so that they would have in exchange a safe security after their fear. This is what Allah did indeed do, may He be glorified and exalted, and to Him be praise and blessings. For He did not cause His Messenger to die until He had given him victory over Makkah, Khaybar, Bahrayn, all of the Arabian Peninsula and Yemen; and he took Jizyah from the Zoroastrians of Hajar and from some of the border lands of Syria; and he exchanged gifts with Heraclius the ruler of Byzantium, the ruler of Egypt and Alexandria, the Muqawqis, the kings of Oman and An-Najashi of Abyssinia, who had become king after Ashamah, may Allah have mercy on him and grant him honor…. Allah’s Promise to the Believers that He would grant them Succession
  • 9:33. It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâm), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) hate (it).

Allah commands Muslims to fight pagans until only Allah is worshiped. He commands them to fight people with scriptural religions until they are subjugated and make annual extortion payments.

  • 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
  • 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Only Allah has the right to be worshiped.

  • 2:255. Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursî.]
  • 23:116. So Exalted be Allâh, the True King, Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne!

By this we learn that Allah is supreme, he rules the world. If any doubt remains after 24:55, then examine this crystal clear gem of exposure.

Clearly, the assertion that Islam seeks no temporal power is absolutely false, by the ample testimony of Allah and his Messenger!

Islam not only allows, but mandates offensive violence in obtaining temporal power. I do not ask you to take my word for this, I have ample evidence in Islam’s canon of scripture, tradition, jurisprudence & exegeses.

Jihad is mandated by Surah Al-Baqarah 216.

  • 2:216. Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.
    • In this Ayah, Allah made it obligatory for the Muslims to fight in Jihad against the evil of the enemy who transgress against Islam. Az-Zuhri said, “Jihad is required from every person, whether he actually joins the fighting or remains behind. Whoever remains behind is required to give support, if support is warranted; to provide aid, if aid is needed; and to march forth, if he is commanded to do so. If he is not needed, then he remains behind.”… Jihad is made Obligatory

Caution is required in reading that tafsir. this clause the evil of the enemy who transgress against Islam might seem to indicate that the mandate is strictly defensive. Transgression against Isnam is not so narrowly defined. I direct your attention to the Tafsir of 5:33.

  • (The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land.) `Wage war‘ mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways…. The Punishment of those Who Cause Mischief in the Land

Disbelief in Allah is sufficient to subject you to the listed hudud. It is also sufficient to make you a victim of offensive warfare. The primary Jihad imperatives are contained in Al-Anfal 39 and At-Taubah 29 which are quoted above. Al Anfal 60 commands Muslims to maintain strength and preparation for war. Hilali & Khan go slightly overboard in contemporizing in their parenthetic commentary.

  • 8:60. And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom Allah does know. And whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allah shall be repaid unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly.

At-Taubah 123 confirms the earlier imperatives.

  • 9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2).

Those imperatives are not anachronistic. Jihad will be performed continuously from the beginning of Moe’s mission to Judgment Day. Jihad is the Muslim’s ‘original religion’; they will be cursed if they abandon it.

  • Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

    The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.

  • Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455:

    Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

    I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

Shari’ah, Islam’s canon of jurisprudence, is based primarily on the Qur’an & hadith. Umdat as-Salik contains some vital information which confirms what I have revealed to you. I quote from Umdat as-Salik. Book O, Chapter 9.

O9.1: The Obligatory Character of Jihad

Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

“He who provides the equipment for a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad,”

and Allah Most High having said:

“Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah’s path with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to each, Allah has promised great good” (Koran 4:95).

If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.

The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.

The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can).

O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad

The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),…

. Take note of the last highlighted phrase in O9.1: meaning upon the Muslims each year. What does it mean? Could it possibly mean that offensive Jihad against Kuffar must be performed at least once each year until Dar al-Harb is entirely conquered? Al-Shaffi’i & Al-Ghazali agree on this essential matter of Shari’ah.

Al-Shafi’i (God have mercy on him) said: “The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims’ interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse.” He said: “If he did not undertake the sending of enough troops to fight, those who are absent (must) go out, and consider as an obligation that which God (who is praised) said.” I said: “What I have mentioned showed that if a group was needed to carry out an expedition, [f. 175 a] our duty was incumbent on all of them.

Below is what Al-Ghazali actually wrote about jihad war, and the treatment of the vanquished non-Muslim dhimmi peoples (from the Wagjiz, written in 1101 A.D.): …one must go on jihad (i.e., warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year…one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them…If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [People of The Book – Jews and Christians, typically] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked…One may cut down their trees…One must destroy their useless books. Jihadists may take as booty whatever they decide…they may steal as much food as they need…

Scoffers & skeptics are diredted to click these tafsir titles and read the tafsir which confirm the obvious. Therein you will discover the roots of supremacism, triumphalism & offensive Jihad.

Reading between the Lines of the Sign


Victoria Part Three: The Anti-Islam Guy

The above linked blog post from ’05 contains a photo of Lorenzo Bouchard wearing a sandwich board which reads: ” Awake Islam’s a Religion of War”.
There is a coffee cup in his left hand, fliers in his right. No weapons; no threats. The other side of his sign is a cross.  Here is what the blogger had to write on that occasion.

It seems this guy is downright sick of Muslim fundamentalists blowing stuff up, and offers another crusade as a viable solution. Hold you comments for just one second–there are excellent results from a successful crusade or genocide. You meet your objective of eliminating the thread at hand. However, the collateral damage is usually considered (i.e., should be) to be too significant a cost to pay in exchange for your goals. In this way, most civilized nations prefer to try and isolate and punish criminals as entities-of-themselves and not entities-in-a-state.

You can imagine why I thought this was weird, then. In the US, this kind of reaction is expected. In my peace-loving Canada? No way!

Given a voice crying in the city, warning of Islam’s evil nature & intention, the blogger conjures up the image of a Crusade and imputes genocidal intent. On the other hand, he displays his bias by characterizing the Mujahideen as domestic criminals to be arrested & prosecuted.

The blogger makes the mistake of overlooking the fact that Islam conflates temporal & spiritual power. Moe was Allah’s vice-regent, empowered to rule the world. The structure of Islam’s Caliphate is feudalistic. As Moe conquered one kindom after another, he set up local rulers to maintain control and collect Zakat & Jizya, forwarding them to Mekkah.

  • 8:73. And those who disbelieve are allies to one another, (and) if you (Muslims of the whole world collectively) do not do so (i.e. become allies, as one united block with one Khalifah – chief Muslim ruler for the whole Muslim world to make victorious Allâh’s Religion of Islâmic Monotheism), there will be Fitnah (wars, battles, polytheism, etc.) and oppression on earth, and a great mischief and corruption (appearance of polytheism).

Moe’s intent was to have one monolithic entity:  Ummah al-Islamiyya, the Nation of Islam.

Jihad is war, not a common domestic criminal offense. Jihad is also a mandatory intrinsic sacrament of Islam, which, by Islamic law, must be carried out at least once in every year.

What is Jihad?  The parenthetical in 2:216 says “holy fighting in Allah’s cause”. What is Allah’s cause?

  • Sahih Bukhari  Volume 4, Book 52, Number 65:

    Narrated Abu Musa:

    A man came to the Prophet and asked, “A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah’s Cause?” The Prophet said, “He who fights that Allah’s Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah’s Cause.”

What is the legal definition? Umdat as-Salik has the answer.

Chapter O9.0: Jihad

(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad.

“We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad.”

The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as:

-1- “Fighting is prescribed for you” (Koran 2:216);

-2- “Slay them wherever you find them” (Koran 4:89);

-3- “Fight the idolators utterly” (Koran 9:36);

and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

“I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah”;

and the hadith reported by Muslim,

“To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it.”Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty-seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent others to fight, himself remaining at Medina, and these were forty-seven in number.)

Jihad akbar is an-nafs; how the Hell do you get killed that way? Get a clue, for Chrissake!

  • 4:74. Let those (believers) who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter fight in the Cause of Allâh, and whoso fights in the Cause of Allâh, and is killed or gets victory, We shall bestow on him a great reward.

  • 9:111Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success.

Do you think it couldn’t possibly mean that; it must be mis-translated or mis-interpreted? Pull your head out of your anus long enough to re-read the last paragraph of O9.0

Got a clue yet?  If not then read Riyad us-Salaheen, Book 11, Chapter 234: Obligation of Jihad.  But surely it must be an anachronism, not applicable after the passage of 1386 years. Wrong again!

  • Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526

But surely those passages are subjet to ijtihad and can be re-interpreted for modern times and conditions. Wrong again!

It is clear from this hadith that Jihad, offensive wars of conquest for the purpose of accruing spoils and expanding Dar al-Islam is the core sacrament of Islam; the essence of the ‘religion’.

Genocide

In the egregious matter of genocide: it is another intrinsic sacrament of Islam!

  • 8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

  • Abu Dawud Book 38, Number 4390:

    Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:
    I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.

  • 47:4. So, when you meet (in fight Jihâd in Allâh’s Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islâm), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allâh to continue in carrying out Jihâd against the disbelievers till they embrace Islâm (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allâh’s Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allâh, He will never let their deeds be lost,

  • Muslim Book 041, Number 6985:

    Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

When you kill a murderer in self-defense, you are not guilty of murder.  Neither is America guilty of genocide for nuking Hiroshima & Nagasaki.

.     The thread under discussion stems from a Canadian news paper editorial which uses innuendo to calumniate an innocent Canadian citizen exercising his right of free expression by posting a flier urging that Islam be banned from Canada.  The editor implied that Lorenzo Bouchard had threatened and intimidated Muslims.

While I do not know the content of the flier that was posted, I know and published the full contents of Bouchard’s two on line petitions. Those petitions neither threaten nor intimidate, implicitly nor explicitly.  They call for banning Islam on several grounds, the most important of those being its intrinsic aggression.

The question on the table is whether Lorenzo Bouchard threatened and intimidated Muslims.  Clearly, unless he posted something much different from his internet postings, he did not.  This is a case of the aggressors pretending to be victims, a standard Islamic propaganda tactic.

Ema carries on that grand tradition by attempting to divert attention from Islam onto its critics.  We threaten no one. We point out the necessity of removing Muslims from the territorial limits of this nation and every nation that desires to preserve freedom & security.  Islam and those who practice it are inimical to innocent human life & liberty because Islam is a demonic mandate to conquer & subjugate the entire world.

In 9:111, we are informed that Allah purchased the Muslims with admission to Paradise after they die, so that they will fight in his cause, kill and be killed in this world. That fact is confirmed in 61:10, with a commerce that will save you from a painful torment. The fact that Allah hired hit men to attack us stands alone as a threat. But there is more, much more.

9:29 shows Allah commanding Muslims to make war upon Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, Sabeans & Samaritans until they are subjugated & submit to annual extortion. 9:123 commands Muslims to fight and be harsh against disbelievers, beginning with those nearby.  Damn fools  of Ema’s ilk will try to deny the clear meaning of those ayat.  Unfortunately for them, the clear meaning of those ayat is confirmed by Islam’s expert exegetes.  I do not ask anyone to take my word for this, I submit evidence. I have given you links to ten parallel translations so that you can read and compare them, verify the obvious meaning and  examine the context through links to adjacent ayat.  I will go one step further. I am providing links to tafsir which further confirm the meaning of those ayat.

Islam’s inclusive handbook of Sharia, Umdat as-Salik, holds further confirmation: 9:29 is cited as the basis of Islamic law. Compare Rodwell’s translation to Umdat as-Salik O9.8.  How do you explain the congruency?

Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given as believe not in God, or in the last day, and who forbid not that which God and His Apostle have forbidden, and who profess not the profession of the truth, until they pay tribute out of hand, and they be humbled.

O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad

The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,

How the Hell do you give that a benign interpretation? Allah said “make war upon“; the Caliph “makes war upon” because Allah said it.  Moe said:

“I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.”  Bukhari 1.8.387

Ema can slither, coil, recoil, rattle her tail and spit venom, but she can not disprove the obvious fatal fact of Islam: its intrinsic violence.  Nothing any Jew or Christian has said or done, either in conformity with Moses & Jesus or controverting their teachings,  detracts in any way, to any extent, from the proof of Islam’s absolute evil.  In scripture, tradition & jurisprudence, Islam is an eternal & global mandate to barbarian conquest.  Our blood & property do not become sacred to Muslims until we become Muslims.  If that is not intimidation, what is?  How about this:

Bukhari  Ch 61 # 2756: …It is mentioned from Ibn ‘Umar from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, “My provision has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been placed on the one who disobeys my command.

Moe got his income with his spear, by attacking people, holding them for ransom, selling them as slaves and stealing their property. Anyone who disobeys his command is abased & humiliated.  There threat is clear!  Islam’s intrinsic aggression renders it intolerable.

Islam’s scripture, tradition & jurisprudence form a congruent pattern, matched by its history. Those whose heads are full of feces instead of brains will deny, divert, distract , project & make excuses for Islam’s aggression,  but they can not disprove objective factual reality.

Allah said “Fight those who do not believe in Allah“, Moe said: “I have been ordered to fight“, Ibn Kathir says: “This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the People of the Book” , Islamic law says: “The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians“.  The pattern is clear, obvious and unmistakable on the face of the text, no interpretation is required.

In terms of intimidation, consider what Moe said:

    Moe plagiarized Hebraic apocryphal texts and scripture and wove it into the Qur’an in hopes that Jews would accept him as their Messiah. They detected his fraud and rejected him, causing him to hate them intensely.

    Now examine Allah’s promises.

    • 3:160. If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allah (Alone) let believers put their trust.

    Caliph Umar conquered the Roman Province of Syria in 638. According to Hamas, that makes Israel theirs forever. Examine this excerpt from the Charter of Hamas [Art. 11]; read and learn, if you are able.

    The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine has been an Islamic Waqf throughout the generations and until the Day of Resurrection, no one can renounce it or part of it, or abandon it or part of it. No Arab country nor the aggregate of all Arab countries, and no Arab King or President nor all of them in the aggregate, have that right, nor has that right any organization or the aggregate of all organizations, be they Palestinian or Arab, because Palestine is an Islamic Waqf throughout all generations and to the Day of Resurrection. Following discussions and consultations between the Caliph of Islam, ‘Umar Ibn al-Khattab, and the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, be peace and prayer upon him, they decided that the land should remain in the hands of its owners to benefit from it and from its wealth; but the control of the land and the land itself ought to be endowed as a Waqf [in perpetuity] for all generations of Muslims until the Day of Resurrection. The ownership of the land by its owners is only one of usufruct, and this Waqf will endure as long as Heaven and earth last. Any demarche in violation of this law of Islam, with regard to Palestine, is baseless and reflects on its perpetrators.

    In other words, Islamic conquest is final. In this case, it wasn’t. The Ottoman Empire lost the Levant. Israel threw out the last of her conquerors and resumed soverignty. This is an unacceptable insult to Islam. Israel, by existing, proves Allah to be an impotent idol because his promises are vain. For this reason, they will never cease from attacking Israel.

    No concessions, no ceding of territory, no good will gestures, no negotiations; nothing short of extermination will stop Islam’s reconquest.

    If Israel will not exterminate the Muslims or at least push them back beyond rocket range, she will never have peace and security. All of your peace plans, proposals and road maps are counterproductive, rewarding Islamic aggression.

    Consult Sharia and comprehend the fact that only a damned fool expects peace in the Middle East. I quote from Reliance of the Traveller, Book O: Justice.

    JIHAD


    Lets take another look at the definition of Jihad. First, as defined by Sharia.

    The Reliance of the Traveller

    Chapter O-9.0: Jihad
    (O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad.
    “We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad.”
    The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b-7) is such Koranic verses as:
    1- “Fighting is prescribed for you” (Koran 2:216);
    2- “Slay them wherever you find them” (Koran 4:89);
    3- “Fight the idolators utterly” (Koran 9:36);
    and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:
    I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah”;
    and the hadith reported by Muslim,
    “To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it.”Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty-seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent others to fight, himself remaining at Medina, and these were forty-seven in number.)

    • Jihad means to war against non-Muslims. And Moe proved it at least 74 times.  What more do we need to know?

    Second, we’ll examine the translator’s commentary from The Noble Qur’an 2:190.[2:190; English translation not shown.]

    V. 2:190) Al-Jihad (holy fighting) ln AlIah’s Cause (with full force of numbers
    and weaponry) is given the utmost importance in Islam and is one of its pillars (on
    which it stands). By Jihad Islam is established, Allah’s Word is made superior, (His
    Word belng La Haha illallah which means none has the right to be worshipped but
    Allah), and His Religion (Islam) is propagated. By abandoning Jihad (may Allah
    protect us from that) Islam is destroyed and the Muslims fall into an inferior
    position; their honour is lost, their lands are stolen, their rule and authority vanish.
    Jihad is an obligatory duty In Islam on every Muslim, and he who tries to escape
    from this duty, or does not in his innermost heart wish to fulfil this duty, dies with
    one of the qualities of a hypocrite.
    Narrated Abdullah bin Masud I asked Allah’s Messenger,  ‘O Allah’s Messenger!
    what is th e best deed?’ He replied, “To offer the Salat (prayers) at their early fixed
    stated times.’ I asked, ‘What is next ln goodness?” He replied, ‘To be good and
    dutlful to your parents.” I further asked, ‘What is next in goodness?’ He replied,
    ‘To participate in Jihad in Allaha’s Cause.’ I did not ask AIIAh’s Messenger anymore

    We have two definitions:

    • Jihad:
      • means to war against non-Muslims
        • signifying warfare to establish the religion
      • (holy fighting) ln AlIah’s Cause.
        • By Jihad Islam is established

    Clearly those definitions tend toward aggression: “warfare to establish”; Islam is propagated.
    But Abdullah Yusuf Ali disagrees:

    • v.190 : War is only permissible in self-defence,…

    Likewise Muhammad Assad.

    • v.190 : This and the following verses lay down unequivocally that only self-defence (in the widest sense of the word) makes war permissible for Muslims. …

    What did Allah say?

    • 2:190. And fight in the Way of Allâh those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allâh likes not the transgressors. [This Verse is the first one that was revealed in connection with Jihâd, but it was supplemented by another (V.9:36)].
      • Permission for defense does not rule out aggression.
    • 22:39. Permission to fight is given to those (i.e. believers against disbelievers), who are fighting them, (and) because they (believers) have been wronged, and surely, Allâh is Able to give them (believers) victory.
      • Once again, defense is permitted but offense is not barred.
    • 9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2).
      • Obvious authorization for aggression!

    What did Moe say?

    Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
    Narrated Anas bin Malik:
    Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”

    Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 196:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
    Allah ‘s Apostle said, ” I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,’ and whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,’ his life and property will be saved by me except for Islamic law, and his accounts will be with Allah, (either to punish him or to forgive him.)”

    Abu Dawud 14.2635
    Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

    The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: I am commanded to fight with men till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle, face our qiblah (direction of prayer), eat what we slaughter, and pray like us. When they do that, their life and property are unlawful for us except what is due to them. They will have the same rights as the Muslims have, and have the same responsibilities as the Muslims have.

    Where the Hell did he get that idea: commanded/ordered to fight?

    • 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
    • 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

    No mention of defense in those commands; they are imperatives of aggressive conquest. Ibn Kathir confirms it.

    • Allah commanded His Messenger to strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and to be harsh against them. … Ibn `Abbas said, “Allah commanded the Prophet to fight the disbelievers with the sword, to strive against the hypocrites with the tongue and annulled lenient treatment of them.” Ad-Dahhak commented, “Perform Jihad against the disbelievers with the sword and be harsh with the hypocrites with words, and this is the Jihad performed against them.” …The Order for Jihad against the Disbelievers and Hypocrites
    • Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination….The Order to fight People of the Scriptures until They give the Jizyah
    • Allah then commanded fighting the disbelievers when He said:..(…until there is no more Fitnah) meaning, Shirk. …Allah’s statement: (…and the religion (all and every kind of worship) is for Allah (Alone).) means, `So that the religion of Allah becomes dominant above all other religions.’ ….The Order to fight until there is no more Fitnah

    Jihad means war, Allah commanded Moe to make war against Pagans, Jews & Christians. What does Islamic law say about this?We turn once more to Reliance of the Traveller.

    O9.1: The Obligatory Character of Jihad

    Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

    “He who provides the equipment for a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad,”

    and Allah Most High having said:

    “Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah’s path with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to each, Allah has promised great good” (Koran 4:95).

    If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.

    The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation, meaning upon the Muslims each year.

    The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can).

    Jihad is a communal obligation which must be performed each year, against us in our own countries. What???

    O-9.8: The Objectives of Jihad
    The caliph (o-25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o-11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,
    “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),
    the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace). After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),
    “I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,”
    this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ).

    O-9.9
    The caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim (O: because they are not a people with a Book, nor honored as such, and are not permitted to settle with paying the poll tax (jizya) ) (n: though according to the Hanafi school, peoples of all other religions, even idol worshippers, are permitted to live under the protection of the Islamic state if they either become Muslim or agree to pay the poll tax, the sole exceptions to which are apostates from Islam and idol worshippers who are Arabs, neither of whom has any choice but becoming Muslim (al-Hidaya sharh Bidaya al-mubtadi’ (y-21), 6.48-49) ).

    So much for the defensive war theory. It is aggressive, must be performed in every year, and continues until the whole world is subjugated.

    Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

    The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.
