Instruments of Love and Harmony #12

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the last two points  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

We have agreed to explore the possibility of establishing a permanent Catholic-Muslim committee to coordinate responses to conflicts and other emergency situations and of organizing a second seminar in a Muslim-majority country yet to be determined.

We look forward to the second Seminar of the Catholic-Muslim Forum to be convened in approximately two years in a Muslim-majority country yet to be determined.

Taken at face value, points fourteen & fifteen mean that the participants accept the concept continuing ‘dialogue’. How do the conferees hope to respond to “conflicts” and “emergency situations”  such as the genocide in Darfur and the repression of Copts in Egypt?  How do they hope to respond to and have any beneficial effect on the scenes of terror attacks such as Mumbai?

Will they discuss the divinity, death & resurrection of Jesus?  Will they discuss the hadith predicting his return to kill the remaining Jews? Fat chance, just as they will enter detailed discussions of Jihad, genocide & casting terror.

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the thirteenth point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

Young people are the future of religious communities and of societies as a whole. Increasingly, they will be living in multicultural and multireligious societies. It is essential that they be well formed in their own religious traditions and well informed about other cultures and religions.

Taken at face value, the thirteenth point means that the participants accept the concept of transmitting their own religious tenets & traditions to their offspring.  They also agree that their children should be informed about the doctrines & traditions of other faiths.

The hidden subtext is especially subversive.  They can’t mean genuine, fact based instruction; they must mean prejudicial, fantasy based indoctrination.  As evidence, I submit the multitude of deceptions exposed in previous installments in this series. Honest instruction would expose the lies in the joint statement.  If students in Catholic schools were required to read the hateful & warmongering passages in Islam’s canon of scripture, tradition & jurisprudence, how would their parents react?  How would CAIR react? Guess what Muslim students study in the Madrassahs.

Instruments of Love and Harmony #10

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the twelfth point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

We call upon believers to work for an ethical financial system in which the regulatory mechanisms consider the situation of the poor and disadvantaged, both as individuals, and as indebted nations. We call upon the privileged of the world to consider the plight of those afflicted most severely by the current crisis in food production and distribution, and ask religious believers of all denominations and all people of good will to work together to alleviate the suffering of the hungry, and to eliminate its causes.

Taken at face value, the twelfth point means that the participants accept the concept of “social justice”. Lets break it down into discrete elements for easier analysis.

  • ethical financial system
    • regulatory mechanisms
      • protect the poor
        • individually
        • collectively
  • food distribution
    • alleviate suffering
    • eliminate causes

Psalms   15:5 He that putteth not out his money on interest, nor taketh a bribe against the innocent. {N}
He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

2:275. Those who eat Riba (usury) will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Shaitan (Satan) leading him to insanity. That is because they say: “Trading is only like Riba (usury),” whereas Allah has permitted trading and forbidden Riba (usury). So whosoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops eating Riba (usury) shall not be punished for the past; his case is for Allah (to judge); but whoever returns [to Riba (usury)], such are the dwellers of the Fire – they will abide therein.

Both scriptures forbid usury.  The inordinantly curious may turn to Reliance of the Traveller K3.0 to see some of the particulars.

If you have your pension fund invested, you probably anticipate capital appreciation. If your investment does not grow, a significant part of it may be eroded by inflation, leaving you short of funds when you retire. If you are averse to the risks involved in equity investment, Sharia law leaves you no good options because it forbids taking interest.

No reasonable person will argue that financial regulations should be biased against the poor. Why, then should they be biased against those more wealthy or productive?  It is necessary to assume that both sides have an unstated  redistributionist agenda.

This brings us to Zakat, the Muslim property tax which is the subject of Book H of Reliance of the Traveller.

H1.1

Zakat is obligatory:

(a) for every free Muslim (O: male, female, adult, or child);

(b) who has possessed a zakat-payable amount (Ar.nisab, the minimum that necessitates zakat, def; for livestock h2.4-5; for grain and dried foodstuffs h3.4; for gold, silver, and other money h4.2; and for trade goods h5.1);

(c) for one lunar year.

H1.2

Non-Muslims are not obliged to pay zakat, nor apostates from Islam (murtadd, def:o8) unless they return to Islam, in which case they must pay for the time they spent out of Islam, though if they die as non-Muslims their property is not subject to zakat(N:because their property is considered to belong to the Muslim common fund (bayt al-mal) from the moment such people leave Islam).

H8.24

It is not permissible to give zakat to a non-Muslim, or to someone whom one is obliged to support (def: m12.1), such as a wife or family member.

So much for the concept of equality.

Turn briefly to the matter of distribution of Zakat. Who gets the proceeds; when our investment firms engage in Sharia compliant transactions, what happens to the 2.5% of the funds which must be paid as Zakat?Read this slowly, let it sink in for a minute.

H8.17: Those Fighting for Allah

The seventh category is those fighting for Allah, meaning people engaged in Islamic military operations for whom no salary has been allotted in the army roster (O: but who are volunteers for jihad without remuneration). They are given enough to suffice them for the operation, even if affluent; of weapons, mounts, clothing, and expenses (O: for the duration of the journey, round trip, and the time they spend there, even if prolonged. Though nothing has been mentioned here of the expense involved in supporting such people’s families during this period, it seems clear that they should also be given it).

Food distribution sounds like a good form of charity. What are its long term consequences?  Areas of the world where there is a shortage of food tend to have a surplus of human. [If you can’t guess, use your mouse to highlight the hidden word.] Will the birth rate decline in those regions if we supply all he food they need? Who will pay for the energy, fertilizer, insecticides, herbicides, seed and labor involved in crop production?  Who will pay the shipping & distribution costs? s

What factors contribute to the food shortage? Could the disruption caused by Islamic Jihad play a role? How about the three hours many Muslims spend each day in Wudu & Salat?

The parties agree in one matter: designs on your bank account.

Instruments of Love and Harmony #9

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the eleventh point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

We profess that Catholics and Muslims are called to be instruments of love and harmony among believers, and for humanity as a whole, renouncing any oppression, aggressive violence and terrorism, especially that committed in the name of religion, and upholding the principle of justice for all.

Taken at face value, the eleventh point means that the participants accept the concept of benign religion. Lets break it down into discrete elements for easier analysis.

  • love & harmony
    • between believers
    • for humanity
  • renouncing
    • oppression
    • aggressive violence
    • terrorism
      • in the name of religion
  • justice

Universal benevolence is part of Christianity, not part of Islam.  Islamic charity extends to their Muslim brothers, not to the wider world. Examine 2:273 and the surrounding context. Where does the loot come from, and where does it go?

  • 8:41. And know that whatever of war-booty that you may gain, verily one-fifth (1/5th) of it is assigned to Allah, and to the Messenger, and to the near relatives [of the Messenger (Muhammad)], (and also) the orphans, Al-Masakin (the poor) and the wayfarer, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our slave (Muhammad) on the Day of criterion (between right and wrong), the Day when the two forces met (the battle of Badr) – And Allah is Able to do all things.

They attacked camel caravans & peaceful villages, slaughtered the men, selling the women and children as slaves. Do you imagine that they shared the spoils with the victim class (Kuffar)?  Love for humanity as a whole pretty well took a flier with  Moe’s declaration that he was ordered to fight them until they embrace Islam, when their blood and property would become sacred to Muslims. For those who missed it in a previous installment, it is Sahih Bukhari 1.8.387.

Renouncing oppression? A great sentiment, ain’t it, but it  ain’t part of Islam. Observe 3:110 and the saying which explains its meaning.

  • 3:110. You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad  and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah – and rebellious against Allah’s Command).
    • Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 80:

      Narrated Abu Huraira:

      The Verse:–“You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind.” means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.

    • 47:4So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah’s Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam…

If you missed the quotes from Reliance of the Traveller, outlining the restrictions placed on conquered Jews & Christians, reading this will make up for it.

Renouncing aggressive violence violates Islamic law. Reliance of the Traveller makes it clear to all who will read it that Muslims may not abjure any part of the Qur’an. There is a list in O8.7, of acts which entail apostasy, which bears the death penalty.[O.8.1, 8.2]

  • O8.7.7 to deny any verse of the Koran or anything which by scholarly consensus (def: b7) belongs to it, or to add a verse that does belong to it;

One verse in Surah Al-Baqarah makes participation in Jihad mandatory.

  • 2:216. Jihad (holy fighting in Allah’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.

The ayat containing Allah’s orders to fight are clear and imperative. I will cite three of them with tafsir links so that you can confirm their obvious meaning.

  • 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.
  • The Order to fight until there is no more Fitnah

Terrorism is another Islamic sacrament that no Muslim can renounce.

  • 3:151. We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers).
  • 8:12.Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, “Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.

Genocidal Jihad & terrorism are sacraments, carried out in Allah’s cause: to make his word superior.

Justice is another matter. When Catholics use that word, the subtext is most likely to be Socialism. When Muslims use it, the subtext is “just us”. 2:282 starts out with the proper meaning of justice, but deviates from it by declaring female testimony inferior. 4:29-30 deal with Justice between Muslims, of course, Kuffar are another matter; fair prey as per . Bukhari 1.8.387.

Either the Muslim participants in the forum are contradicting Allah & his Messenger and abandoning Islam or their affirmation of peace & justice  is insincere. Which is it?

Instruments of Love and Harmony #8

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the tenth point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

We are convinced that Catholics and Muslims have the duty to provide a sound education in human, civic, religious and moral values for their respective members and to promote accurate information about each other’s religions.

Taken at face value, point 10 means that the participants accept the concept of inculcating sound moral values and teaching the truth about their rivals.  They could start by comparing & contrasting Christianity & Islam.   Diane Dew’s web site has a side by side comparison. They could continue by reading each other’s scripture in their worship services.

They won’t do that because reading Al-Anfal, Al-Taubah, Al-AZhab, Al-Fath & As-Saff would put the lie to all of their touchy~feely pronouncements how peaceful Islam is.  Nor will Imams & Mullahs read the Gospels & Acts to their congregants because it would expose the lies told by Moe about Christianity.

Either the Muslim participants in the forum are contradicting Allah & his Messenger and abandoning Islam or their affirmation multiculturalism  is insincere. Which is it?

Instruments of Love & Harmony #7

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the eighth point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

8. We affirm that no religion and its followers should be excluded from society. Each should be able to make its indispensable contribution to the good of society, especially in service to the most needy.

9. We recognize that God’s creation in its plurality of cultures, civilizations, languages and peoples is a source of richness and should therefore never become a cause of tension and conflict.

Taken at face value, points 8 & 9  mean that the Muslims participating in the meeting accept the concept of multiculturalism.  By so doing, they would sever themselves from Allah and become apostates.

Allah said, “whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.”.[3:85]  Allah said, “Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam”. On his deathbed, Moe said “Expel the pagans from the Arabian Peninsula”. [Bukhari 4.52.288] Caliph Umar subsequently expelled the Jews. [Bukhari 3.39.531]

As if that was insufficient proof of intolerance, we have Allah’s commands to fight until only Allah is worshiped and Jews & Christians are subjugated and extorted. In three ayat, Allah declares that Islam must be made to dominate other religions: “to make it superior over all religions“, “that He may make it (Islam) superior over all religions“, “to make it victorious over all (other) religions“.

The right to believe and practice as you choose is obviated by Allah’s commands to fight disbelievers.  Once Jews & Christians are conquered, subjugated & extorted, Islamic law specifies certain regulations. I quote from Reliance of the Traveller, Book O.

  • O11.5
    • are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
    • are not greeted with “as-Salamu ‘alaykum”;
    • must keep to the side of the street
    • may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims’ buildings, though if they acquire a tall house, it is not razed;
    • are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays;
    • and are forbidden to build new churches

Instruments of Love and Harmony #6

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the sixth point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

Religious minorities are entitled to be respected in their own religious convictions and practices. They are also entitled to their own places of worship, and their founding figures and symbols they consider sacred should not be subject to any form of mockery or ridicule.

Taken at face value, the sixth point means that the Muslims participating in the meeting accept the concept of freedom of religion.

  • O11.5
    • are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
    • are not greeted with “as-Salamu ‘alaykum”;
    • must keep to the side of the street
    • may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims’ buildings, though if they acquire a tall house, it is not razed;
    • are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays;
    • and are forbidden to build new churches

Freedom of religion includes the right to abandon or change faith. Islam denies it. Islamic law prescribes the death penalty for apostasy from Islam.

  • O8.1 When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed.
  • O8.2 In such a case, it is obligatory for the caliph (A: or his representive) to ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does, it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed.

Do Muslim clerics really agree that Jewish & Christian Prophets should not be mocked or ridiculed? How can they come to such an agreement when Muhammad co-opted them, claiming that Abraham, Moses & Jesus were Muslims?

I will bypass many subordinate arguments that can be made and get right down to the bottom line. Islam co-opts Jesus Christ as a genocidal warmonger. Lest you doubt this, I have proof.

  • 61:14. O you who believe! Be you helpers (in the Cause) of Allah as said ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), to AlHawariun (the disciples): “Who are my helpers (in the Cause) of Allah?” AlHawarieen (the disciples) said: “We are Allah’s helpers” (i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they became the uppermost.

There is your first hint. Go to quranbrowser.com and search for helpers, see the context in which it is used.
Moe made prophetic statements, several of which are recorded in the tradition of his companions. One prophecy is critical to this issue.

  • Abu Dawud Book 37, Number 4310:
    Narrated AbuHurayrah:

    The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace_be_upon_him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.

    • He will
      • fight the people for the cause of Islam
      • break the cross
        • kill swine

What is the meaning of the last to phrases, which seem too cryptic to interpret? The next sentence contains the clue we need to unlock the secret.

  • Allah will perish all religions except Islam.

Break the cross is a code phrase for killing the remaining Christians. Kill swine is a code phrase for killing the remaining Jews. But of course I must be mis-translating, mis-interpreting, twisting, perverting and inventing meaning where none exists. Yeah, right.

That is from Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir of 7:167. Ibn Kathir spent his life studying Islamic texts. His tafsir is considered authentic.

Either the Muslim participants in the forum are contradicting Allah & his Messenger and abandoning Islam or their affirmation of freedom of conscience and respect for founding figures is insincere. Which is it?

Instruments of Love and Harmony #5

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the fifth point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

Genuine love of neighbour implies respect of the person and her or his choices in matters of conscience and religion. It includes the right of individuals and communities to practice their religion in private and public.

Taken at face value, the fifth point means that the Muslims participating in the meeting accept the concept of freedom of religion.

[Bukhari 4.52.288] Caliph Umar subsequently expeled the Jews. [Bukhari 3.39.531]

In three ayat, Allah declares that Islam must be made to dominate other religions: “to make it superior over all religions“, “that He may make it (Islam) superior over all religions“, “to make it victorious over all (other) religions“.

Instruments of Love and Harmony #4

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the fourth point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

We affirm that God’s creation of humanity has two great aspects: the male and the female human person, and we commit ourselves jointly to ensuring that human dignity and respect are extended on an equal basis to both men and women.

Taken at face value, the fourth point means that the Muslims participating in the meeting accept the concept of gender equality.  By so doing, they would sever themselves from Allah and become apostates.

Allah said “Your wives are a tilth for you“. World Reference defines tilth as: “cultivated land, farmland, plowland, ploughland, tilled land,”.  Ibn Kathir affirms the fact that 2:223 is a proscription of anal intercourse.  According to Ibn Abbas, “the vulvas of your wives are plantations for your offspring“. It is clear that Islam values women for reproductive capacity. Is the land a  farmer tills equal to him? Does it share his dignity? Unless he is a slave, sharecropper or renter, it is his property.

An-Nisa’ 34  is generally cited as divine permission for wife beating but I want to point out its masculine supremacism.

  • 4:34. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allah and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see illconduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allah is Ever Most High, Most Great.

There can be no doubt that the Muslima’s role is subordination & submission.  In the third installment of this series, I pointed out the fact that Muslimas receive only half an inheritance and their testimony is weighted as half that of a male’s.
Moe taught that women are deficient.

  • The women asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?” He said, “Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?” They replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?” The women replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her religion.” [Bukhari 1.6.301]

Either the Muslim participants in the forum are contradicting Allah and his Messenger or their affirmation of equality is insincere. Which is it?

Instruments of Love and Harmony #3

From Zenit.org comes Final Statement of Catholic-Muslim Forum “Called to Be Instruments of Love and Harmony”
For background information about the meetings, see this Reuters article of 11/06/08.

The statement includes an enumerated list of fifteen points which present a target rich environment In this installment, I’ll take on the third point  of agreement.[Links & emphasis added.]

Human dignity is derived from the fact that every human person is created by a loving God out of love, and has been endowed with the gifts of reason and free will, and therefore enabled to love God and others. On the firm basis of these principles, the person requires the respect of his or her original dignity and his or her human vocation.

Therefore, he or she is entitled to full recognition of his or her identity and freedom by individuals, communities and governments, supported by civil legislation that assures equal rights and full citizenship.

Lets commence with an examination of what Moe had to say about free will. This will be familiar from the first installment.

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘Allah, the Blessed, the Exalted, created Adam. Then He stroked his back with His right hand, and progeny issued from it. He said, “I created these for the Garden and they will act with the behaviour of the people of the Garden.” Then He stroked his back again and brought forth progeny from him. He said, “I created these for the Fire and they will act with the behaviour of the people of the Fire.” ‘A man said, ‘Messenger of Allah! Then of what value are deeds?’ The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, answered, ‘When Allah creates a slave for the Garden, he makes him use the behaviour of the people of the Garden, so that he dies on one of the actions of the people of the Garden and by it He brings him into the Garden. When He creates a slave for the Fire, He makes him use the behaviour of the people of the Fire, so that he dies on one of the actions of the people of the Fire, and by it, He brings him into the Fire.’ “[Malik’s Muwatta Book 46, Number 46.1.2]

In Moe’s creation myth, Allah makes two statements about this matter.

  • “I created these for the Garden and they will act with the behaviour of the people of the Garden.”
  • “I created these for the Fire and they will act with the behaviour of the people of the Fire.”

So much for free will in Islam, it is obviated. He made some for the fire, they will not be guided, they will be confirmed in their sins unto eternal damnation.

  • And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. 2:264
  • Allah will not guide them and theirs will be a painful torment.  16:104

Concerning dignity, is there any without free will or without the sanctity of life?  Remember what Moe said about the sanctity of our lives?

  • I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Bukhari 1.8.387

We don’t have free will, we are either saint’s or sinners by arbitrary assignment and our lives are not sacred to Muslims unless we are Muslims.  Universal human dignity is a null entity as far as Islam is concerned.

Does Islam agree that we are all entitled to full freedom; equal rights & citizenship ensured by civil legislation? This is impossible because Islam does not recognize civil legislation.  Only Allah has the right to rule, delegated to his Messenger, whose word is final. Of course, you doubt me and require proof.

  • 33:36. It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.
    • Allah tells us that He is the only One Who has the power to create and make decisions, and there is no one who can dispute with Him in that or reverse His judgement. His saying:  (And your Lord creates whatsoever He wills and chooses,) means, whatever He wills, for what He wills, happens; and what He does not will, does not happen. All things, good and bad alike, are in His Hands and will return to Him. Allah Alone is the One Who has the Power of Creation, Knowledge and Choice
    • (It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision.) This Ayah is general in meaning and applies to all matters, i.e., if Allah and His Messenger decreed a matter, no one has the right to go against that, and no one has any choice or room for personal opinion in this case. Allah says: (But no, by your Lord, they can have no faith, until they make you judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.) (4:65) Hence the issue of going against it is addressed in such strong terms, as Allah says:  (And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error.) This is like the Ayah: (And let those who oppose the Messenger’s commandment, beware, lest some Fitnah should befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them) (24:63). The Reason for Revelation

In the matter of equality: females inherit 50% a male’s portion and the testimony of two women is required to equal that of one man.

  • 4:11. Allah commands you as regards your children’s (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females;…
  • …And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her….  2:282

Conquered Jews & Christians who retain their religion under a ‘treaty of protection’ must make annual extortion payments and are under several limitations, not being allowed to own & carry weapons, build higher than Muslims, build churches, display crosses or pray aloud in public.  See the Pact of Umar or Reliance of the Traveller, Book  O11.5.
