Freedom Ain’t Free & Take Our Country Back

VICTORY Is Not Defeat

Rod Parsley & Islam

Free Press posted an article critical of Rod Paisley. Lets examine a quote.
Parsley took on Islam. “I will rail against the idea that the god of Islam and the god of Christianity are the same being.” [Emphasis added.]

Parsley took on what he calls “spiritual racism” caused by a “bankrupt educational system” that tells African Americans that the “slave religion” of Islam is their traditional religion and that Christianity is “the white man’s religion.”

At first glance, that appears to be racism shining through. Those who have read the Qur’an know that the relationship between Allah and Muslims is a master: slave relationship.

Mother Jones also takes on Parsley.
Washington Dispatch:
Televangelist Rod Parsley, a key McCain ally in Ohio, has called for eradicating the “false religion.” Will the GOP presidential candidate renounce him?

Senator John McCain hailed as a spiritual adviser an Ohio megachurch pastor who has called upon Christians to wage a “war” against the “false religion” of Islam with the aim of destroying it.

Is Islam false or not? Moe said that there are no contradictions in the Qur’an. In fact, there are plenty of them; here is one list of Qur’anic contradictions. Christ’s dispensation was gentle persuasion. Moe declared war on all mankind. Which one do you think is the real messenger?

In a chapter titled “Islam: The Deception of Allah,” Parsley warns there is a “war between Islam and Christian civilization.” He continues: I cannot tell you how important it is that we understand the true nature of Islam, that we see it for what it really is. In fact, I will tell you this: I do not believe our country can truly fulfill its divine purpose until we understand our historical conflict with Islam. I know that this statement sounds extreme, but I do not shrink from its implications. The fact is that America was founded, in part, with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed, and I believe September 11, 2001, was a generational call to arms that we can no longer ignore.

Is that objectively true? War between Islam and Christian civilization? Impossible, you say?

9:29 Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
The Reliance of the Traveller. Version 1.06 – By Ahmad Ibn Naqib Al-Misri
BOOK O: JUSTICE >> Chapter O-9.0: Jihad

O-9.8: The Objectives of Jihad
The caliph (o-25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o-11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,
“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),

Not so? In the 6th century, Syria, Lebanon, & Egypt were predominantly Christian. How did that change? What happened in 638?

Understanding Islam’s true nature is important. We need to recognize predators and fend them off, at minimum. The historical conflict bit is true, Jefferson & Madison had problems with the Barbary Pirates. Defeating Islam our national destiny? That is hype.

Parsley is not shy about his desire to obliterate Islam. In Silent No More, he notes—approvingly—that Christopher Columbus shared the same goal: “It was to defeat Islam, among other dreams, that Christopher Columbus sailed to the New World in 1492…Columbus dreamed of defeating the armies of Islam with the armies of Europe made mighty by the wealth of the New World. It was this dream that, in part, began America.” He urges his readers to realize that a confrontation between Christianity and Islam is unavoidable: “We find now we have no choice. The time has come.” And he has bad news: “We may already be losing the battle. As I scan the world, I find that Islam is responsible for more pain, more bloodshed, and more devastation than nearly any other force on earth at this moment.”

The Spanish explorers were working in the shadow of centuries of domination by Islam ended by their reconquest, but they did not found this nation. The remainder is palpably true.

There are some, of course, who will say that the violence I cite is the exception and not the rule. I beg to differ. I will counter, respectfully, that what some call “extremists” are instead mainstream believers who are drawing from the well at the very heart of Islam. … “faith that fully intends to conquer the world”

Those who differ should read the Qur’an and Bukhari’s Hadith concerning Jihad & Expedition. Take a close look at 9:29 which is quoted above. That is Islamic law, I also quoted from Fiqh. What more do you need to know? If you think that Islam does not intentd to conquer the world, read my blog post titled ROPMA, which links to vital proof contained in Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir. .

  1. Muslims Against Sharia call on Senators McCain and Obama to cut all ties with their racist, Islamophobic, and anti-Semitic supporters.

  2. Obama’s dumping Wright & Farrakhan would be purely cosmetic, putting a bandage over a cancer. He wrote about admiration for Malcom X in his youth. He hooked up with Wright over 20 years ago. Their affiliation is based on political ideology. The ideology will remain unchanged if the tie is cut.

I have no argument against Parsely’s opposition to Islam. I share it. His conclusion is supported by ample facts.
