I’m happy to see people taking an interest in politics, but this probably won’t help! According to the Washington Post, “A report last year by the Energy Department’s Energy Information Administration said that “access to the Pacific, Atlantic, and eastern Gulf regions would not have a significant impact on domestic crude oil and natural gas production or prices before 2030. Leasing would begin no sooner than 2012, and production would not be expected to start before 2017.” It added, “Because oil prices are determined on the international market, however, any impact on average wellhead prices is expected to be insignificant.”"

If there is a 10 year lead time, it starts after Congress takes positive action to lift the legal barriers to exploration and production.
If Slick Willy had not vetoed drilling in ANWAR or if Congress had over ridden the veto, we would be getting oil from ANWAR now. Mexico is drilling the Gulf, we could be, also.
It ain’t bad enough that we are paying $4.24, the AssWholes want to make it $4.34 by hiking the motor fuel tax.
It is time; long past due for the removal of all LibTurds from Congress!!!
