Broadcaster Freedom Act

Do you want the voices of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and other Conservatives to be available on the radio?  Now is the time to take action, before Congress adjourns for Independence Day at the end of this month. Sign and promote  the MRC’s petition in support of the Broadcaster Freedom Act.

To make the kind of impact we need to move this bill, I need you to help me rally an additional 50,000 citizens over these next two weeks!

If you are not one of the 24,634 signers,  this may be your last chance to help push the bill out of committee, where it will surely die in the abscence of a discharge petition.  If you  have signed the petition, please take the following aditional actions.

1. Send an email to your Congressman,  urging him to sign the discharge petition to send the Broadcaster Freedom Act to the floor for a vote.
2. Copy this blog post and paste it into an email to everyone you can influence.

If we fail in this effort to preserve free speech,  it will be only a matter of time until they come after Conservative blogs.  Our words are transmitted  by phone lines  which include micro wave links.  That puts us very close to FCC jurisdiction.  Lets not allow that to happen.
