Islam Guarantees Human Wrongs.

The quotes below are from an article in the Gulf Times.

Islam guarantees every citizen basic human rights and a successful society will have to be based on these principles, said Dr Mubarak al-Kuwari, an Awqaf official, while delivering a lecture at the two-day workshop organised by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) yesterday.  [Emphasis added.]

The words in bold face are deceptive; substitute every Muslim to make the statement truthful.  Conquered pagans & atheists must revert to Islam be killed; Jews, Christians & Zoroastrians are allowed to retain their religion, but are subjected to severe legal, social & economic restrictions, making them less than second class citizens.  Refer to the Pact of Umar for the details.

“The Shari’ah (jurisprudence) of Islam doesn’t allow mistreatment of any other human being, regardless of creed, ethnicity or religion and treats all humans equally,”

Sharia is based on Moe’s recitation & example; take a peek at a small sample thereof.

• 3:12. Say (O Muhammad ) to those who disbelieve: “You will be defeated and gathered together to Hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest.”
• 8:12 (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, “Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.“
• 9:29 Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
• Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
  Narrated Anas bin Malik:
  Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”
• Abu Dawud Book 38, Number 4390:
  Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:
  I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.
• Abu Dawud Book 41, Number 5186:
  

  Narrated AbuHurayrah:

  Suhayl ibn AbuSalih said: I went out with my father to Syria. The people passed by the cloisters in which there were Christians and began to salute them. My father said: Do not give them salutation first, for AbuHurayrah reported the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) as saying: Do not salute them (Jews and Christians) first, and when you meet them on the road, force them to go to the narrowest part of it.

“In fact, Islam goes on to the extent and calls one innocent death of a fellow being as the death of all ‘mankind’,”

That quote relates to 5:32. But they’ll never cite the ayeh which follows; I will!

• 5:33. The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.

Waging war against Allah includes self defense when attacked by Muslims. What does mischief mean in this context?

• `Wage war’ mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. Mischief in the land refers to various types of evil.  [Ibn Kathir's Tafsir]

Mere disbelief is sufficient to subject one to the barbaric punishments listed in 5:33 !!!  Your blood and property are not sacred to Muslims. You can be crucified, killed or crippled for simple disbelief in  their demon.  Is there anything  more you need to know about Islam before condemning it?
